  What are the patterns of errors usually you grep after running SQL files? Today, I learned that I should be looking for the ' alert' string in the log files. So, I added the following diagrams to grep in the future.

  Because it is the way in which SQL * more reports that an error has occurred... This isn't a real message of the database itself. If you need to see the error you need to do:

  SHO ERR
  

  thereafter to show the error actually happened.

  You must copy the CBS and paste it on your desktop or Documents folder.  Then, open the copied version of the file.  Here is an article which also gives instructions on reading and research the CBS log file.

  Download, install and use the trial version of Recuva Uninstaller.  With she and her advanced (more aggressive) scans, you should be able to get rid of the applications in question.  You can remove it later if so desired (or buy it and keep it around for the future) - up to you.  I just suggest because he did a great job on these things.

• Access denied to the CBS.log file

  I found the cbs.log file but when I tried to open it I get access denied. Found a similar question in another post, but was unable to find a solution. Running Vista Home Premium SP2 64 bit on a HP Pavillion dv9700 Windows 7 or IE8. Also tried to copy the documents as suggested in another post and ran as administrator on the command line without a bit of luck. Other simple suggestions are appreciated.

  ·          Right click on cmd in the results above > click on run as administrator

  ·          At the prompt, type notepad c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log press entry

  If you can try Revo Uninstaller is a good program to do this.

  Yes, it is possible to write in the FMS log within a rule or an expression of varying severity. As long as your logic is called in the rule condition, you should see the output in the FMS log file.

  Yes, Oracle recommends 1 validation by 30 calls from users or less. Of course, every database is different, so this rule cannot be taken too literally, but in your case, this rule seems to apply. There is chance that it isn't - for example a high number of runs may indicate that rather than to bulk operations database code using PL/SQL loops, which is a big performance killer. Check "Top SQL by executions" about whether or not this is the case.
