  Basically a tool ODI is a shortcut to use API ODI.

  For example, when you drag a scenario in a package, it will create a tool ODI "Run script" (or something like that), and he'll have a few fields to fill. These fields are it be configured to run a command to the API of ODI, in this case OdiStartScen.

  If you go to the tab 'Order' in ODI 'run script' tool, you can get the command of OdiStartScen together and you can use it inside a procedure to loop or do what you want.

  It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem. See this article for more information on troubleshooting extensions and themes and this one for plugins.

  If you have not saved the document before the reboot - and Windows always give a lot of warning before restarting automatically - while the file disappeared.  There is no way to recover; System Restore does apply to system files, not data.

  There is no way to hide the default tools Panel in the drive, but you can either click on the small triangle to show or hide the Panel of tools, or you can use the keys Ctrl + H to open the playback Mode.

  You have clear questions.

  1.) here is a fundamental difference between the ODI and Informatica. ODI is a treatment database files on the target server. Informatica makes treatment rank by rank on a dedicated server of Informatica.
  So the answer is no. ODI will do it for the full set of 50000

  2.) I'm sorry but I have not worked on Informatica. Therefore, can not really help you compare apples.
  Technically, the Interface is a mapping from Source to the target that is facilitated by KMs.
  So, if you can reuse KMs but do not use interfaces. They are related to the actual source and target data models.
  On the second and thoughts of advance, maybe you can create a model of variable data and create an interface with it. and the interface of the re-use of different data models. But I have not tried. So, I don't want you to know too.

  In addition, you can create and extend the KMs which are available for your needs.

  There are ODI tools that can be reused in many projects. These tools are built in Java. And you can create your own tools and add to the ODI tool palette.

  When CONFIGURE you a deletion policy, the configuration applies to all destinations archive

  including the flash recovery area. BACKUP - ENTRY DELETE and DELETE - ARCHIVELOG obey this configuration, like the flash recovery area.

  You can also CONFIGURE an archived redo log political suppression that newspapers are eligible for deletion only after being applied to or transferred to database backup destinations.

  Its a configuration, it will not erase by itself.

  If you want to use FRA for the automatic removal of the archivelogs on a database of physical before you do this:

  1. make sure that DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST is set to FRA - view parameter DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST - and - setting DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE

  2. do you have political RMAN primary and Standby set - CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY to APPLY ON ALL STANDBY;

  If you want to keep archives more you can control how long keep logs by adjusting the size of the FRA

  I would never use it. I always had it put it this way:

  I would use only 'BACKED UP' for the data protection system. Usually it tell oracle how many times to back up before removing.

  I think cron is still, but they all work. I like cron because the database has a problem at work always reports its results.

  Summary

  Always use a database with RMAN catalog.

  Always use CRF with RMAN.

  Always set the deletion «To APPLY ON ALL STANDBY» policy

  DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE determines how long to keep the archives with this configuration.

  Guys, if you have open on your Mac and use the new application Photos...  Are you able to use Aperture photo editing tools at all?  It would be a great feature!

  they are two completely different programs and different - with extensions in the Photos, you have many options for features additional editoing and with external publishers for extention of Photos, you can use any software editing like an editor for photos (this includes not dams such as LightRoom or APerture - simple editors)
