  I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS installed and I downloaded and installed all the drivers hp indicated specifically site against my "HP ProBook 450 G2 NOTEBOOK PC"

  Device Manager indicates that all drivers are properly installed

  I installed the driver for the this file p66915.exe fingerprint reader.

  So far, I couldn't see all that happens with the fingerprint reader. Under "Range" Device Manager, it is show as Validity Sensor with the driver version 4.5.133.0 with the device status "this device works correctly.

  But in Control Panel under "devices in range", it says "Windows has done to find devices in the range on this computer. "You might need to fix your device or install device drivers.

  What Miss me? to activate the fingerprint reader.

• How to fix the following s/w when they stop working, (Version Manager, HP Advisor, IE)?

  When I try to connect to the internet with IE, first I get a message that the release manager has stopped working, then I get a message that HP Advisor stopped working, then I get a message that IE has stopped working.  When I take the link which tries to solve the problem, it seems to do nothing.

  I found this on the hard, but the answer to my problem was uninstall Yahoo! toolbar.  Get that garbage out of your computer and you should be good to go.

  In order to understand this point, I had to restore my system from the system recovery directory, and then run Internet Explorer(No Add-ons)...

  Whenever the device driver is selected there is just a blank page that appears. There are no announcements of any drivers anywhere, or visible by any way within Windows 7 Home Premium. For this reason there is no way to check on all the drivers or the parts of the system to see if there is no system conflicts.  I have a driver repair program that when search enabled for and comes with a list of drivers on the computer and indicates the factors that bear on a date and will go through the steps to change but since I have no way to see the driver manager or it's poster so I can't say if something is changed.

  If I have something again plug it into a USB Port, the computer recognizes that something has been plugged, but that it will not open the directory automatically, as it used to do.  For example if I put in a CD or a DVD that has auto start it won't, so it's just sitting there. If I use Windows Explorer and click computer directory will show a device for example: DVD has a DVD named such and so in the drawer.

  Plug-and-Play is selected and activated, but it seems that it does not work.  If I plug a USB key into the USB (any USB port) it sometimes it indicates with a beep or a pop-up window indicating something was plugged or removed as the case may be.

  If this file has been deleted, if it is to cause such a thing?  This computer (gateway) has a grounded partition which has a restore works however it resets all default settings etc. or can erase all files.  If there is a way to download the missing files, which makes Driver Manager do its thing, it would be a good thing. Any suggestions?

  1. as to the question was just a new program installed before this problem?  The answer could be Yes. But unknown to you, because I can't be sure of the effective date of what's going on.

  This can cause if the Plug and Play service is disabled (disabled people); I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps and check if it helps;

• Version VS scenario management

  I'm the introduction of ODI (v11.1.1.5) in the business, and we are interested in its capabilities of version control.
  
  We have seen that the scenarios are useful for work on an interface, while a fixed version of it can still be executed in a package. Thus, we always generate a new version of a script after the change of an object. Our packages consist of scenarios with-1 as the value for the version field (get the latest version of the script).
  
  This is very useful, but how can we see the implementation of an interface/package to a specific version of the script? I guess it must be stored somewhere, since the old scenarios are still usable after the interface has changed. I have not found where the notice/regenerate the previous version of the object.

  Yes. The Version 001 scenario is a black box. You can't say what interfaces/packages/models, etc. are contained in the code of the script.
  And Yes, its very important to add documentation for scenario as to what this scenario did or what all the things it uses.

• Two versions of Photos in El Capitan?

  I used a local network file server to store my library iPhoto for years.   I could access it from multiple Macs on the local network, but recently I came across a surprising problem.  I've updated several computers to El Capitan, an old Macbook Pro, a MacPro and a new Macbook Pro.   The old Macbook Pro got installed version 1.3 of Photos, and the other two got pictures version 1.2.   I did not notice this until I accessed the common photo library with the old Macbook Pro - which worked fine, but then, days later, I tried to access the library from the Mac Pro, and he says that the library from a newer version of pictures and that I must upgrade Photos.  But there seems to be no way to upgrade Photos - not from the App Store, and when I even download and re - installed El Capitan, is still version 1.2!   So I can't access the library two computers until there's another OS update that modifies the Photos again?  This seems quite strange and incompatible version management, even if using a base common library LAN is not a common practice.   I don't want to use iCloud for storing my large library and my local network is certainly faster than my Internet connection.

  Any suggestions on how to get Photos 1.3?

  Photos is installed as part of Mac OS X.  You cannot update separately.

  If you have pictures on one of your Mac 1.3, you have installed a beta version of El Capitan on this system, probably MacOS X 10.11.2.  Upgrade all of the Mac to the same version of Mac OS X, if you want to share the library of Photos between devices.

  I run Windows Vista 32-bit.  I wonder if the following message is a HP program. It opens in a window in my other user account, just after I start:

  "User account control program Version Manager of Hewlett - Packard Company" and

  I was concenered, it wasn't a HP program because I recently visited a site installed, what a service repair workshop was a great cookie in the folder my documents. And we told him he would do damage to my pc, if you plan to remove.

  Manager version is part of HP Advisor and can be enabled or disabled via the HP Advisor program.

  Launch of HP Advisor and you'll see a key that allows you to access the settings. In the settings menu say Manager version does not run at startup.

• BlackBerry Smartphones new update S/W for 8900 blocks Desktop manager with Lotus Notes Calendar

  I am using Notes 8.0.2 and using the Desktop Manager to synchronize contacts and calendar.

  After the upgrade of your handheld S/W, released last week, the Desktop Manager synchronization crashes when it tries to read the lotus notes calendar. For this, the address book with no problems, but when it starts to read the calendar notes, it crashes.

  I have used other sync software that accesses the calendar notes just to check my notes calendar was not inaccessible for any reason whatsoever and that worked well.

  If it's a version management issues with Notes 8.0.2 is there a way I can go back to the previous version of the portable software that works well so far? Otherwise, any suggestions to solve this problem?

• Update blackBerry Smartphones / Device Manager issue

  I recently acquired a Blackberry 8330 and let me start by saying this: it's one of the best machines I've ever held. It is simply amazing.

  I installed the Device Manager and have been using it without any problem. Then, I went and did an update wireless with my phone, the upgrade of the OS. Since I did this, however, the Manager has recently stopped recognizing my device - my computer recognizes him again, as he charges when it is plugged in and I can always access to the hard drive, but for some reason, I cannot use the Device Manager to do anything - down, States in the Device Manager there is no trendy Black Berry as shown by the 'None' exposed next to the Pin number.

  What can I do? I really need to access blackberry via the Device Manager. Someone, please help > _

  Things I've tried:

  -Restart the Blackberry (both by pressing the red button and pull the battery and re insert)

  -Update the device to the more recent version Manager

  -The latest version is uninstalled, then download and install the version provided with the blackberry (4.2)

  I noticed that the CD that came with the device itself does not contain the most recent edition of the Device Manager, if that means anything. It's just weird that the Device Manager has stopped working after I upgraded. Currently, my OS is V4.5.0.175. I've recently updated both my 8310 Black Berry - same question parents. Before, I could access it via Device Manager. Now, I can't. Please help me!

  In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

  Basically I would only export the highest environment scenarios. Any other object, we'll go to QA.

To achieve the latter you can create a package version, change the package, create another version, use the version of the browser in the menu of the ODI and choose/select versions of both packages and then right click and compare.

SVN cannot replace the ODI version management.
