  Jeff, thank you.  I couldn't update any program in CS5.  It turned out that I had to do a 'update manual".  Not sure why it was different, but it worked.

  I'm trying to downgrade a 15-g013dx (J5T33UA) computer laptop HP Windows 8.1 to Windows 7. It is a four-core AMD A8 APU system.

  I have problems with the devices USB 2.0 not supported by the hardware.  I have all devices in Device Manager, but the computer does not detect the USB 2.0 devices.

  He will recognize USB 3.0 devices very well when they are plugged into the USB 3.0, but no USB 2.0 ports. Peripheral USB 2.0 do not work in any port.  I can't confirm the devices USB 1.1 at this time.

  CMOS configuration is set in Legacy mode: disable.

  Is there an additional driver or configuration that I am missing, or is there something else going on?

  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  If you want to downgrade your system to Windows 7, you'll want to download the drivers and software supported first.

  To make sure you material works you want to install your drivers starting with the chipset driver before all others.

  For windows 7, you'll want to check out this link as well.

  If you follow that you should have no problem.

• "Selections" does not? CS5

  Work in Illustrator CS5, all of a sudden, when selecting traces with the direct Selection tool, the nodes and the handles no longer appear? If I have to 'seize' the path and do drag, then the summons but let go once they disappear again? If I click on and drag to select several points, nothing appears or the other. In addition, the text does not seem to show the selection with the text tool - for example, when you double-click to select a word - the text is not the games?

  I checked in the preferences to see if something was wrong, but everything seems fine and put in cell my file pref Illustrator and plist and restarted, but still the same. Any ideas? I accidentally hit a key combination to hide them?

  I have Photoshop CS5 Extended and CS4. Acrobat Pro comes with CS4. For some time, I was not able to open a PDF file when the software CS4 or PS does not work.   You are misunderstanding and indeed be wrong. It tells you that you must run another program from the suite to serialize Acrobat. However, that never happens in your case because activation does not stick. This could be something permission issues to problems with your hard disk (with a SSD by chance?). Definitely make sure to run as administrator at least once to activate properly and also check your permissions or security tools such as virus scanners which can interfere.

• LR3 preferences does not PS CS5

  I upgraded from PS CS3-> CS5 and LR 2.7-> 3 by purchasing the CD from Adobe. I installed LR 3, then of CS5. Then uninstalled CS3 to make more space on my laptop.

  While in LR, when I try to do a Photo | Edit in Photoshop, LR does not see ANY Photoshop in LR2 or LR3. Edit in Photoshop and all the Open fusion functions on this menu drop-down lists appear in gray

  I uninstalled LR2 and LR3. Then re-installed LR3. Same problem of grayout - LR is not that PS5 PS is available.

  How can I fix it?  It drives me crazy.

  Reinstall the CS5. When you have removed CS3 the uninstaller removed some necessary entries of CS5.

  Maybe because its Friday, but for some reason my wind filter is not create the "plotters" or "trails" that I'm used to seeing.

  My goal is to create a movement on white text effect.  "Tails" do not grow in length when duplicate filter on & more as it should.  What I am doing wrong?

  Example:

  This is the text after the filter is applied once.

  

  Here is an example after the 3rd time of application of the wind filter.

  

  As you can see, the streaks are still in the text. It does not create fine streaks that I need.

  Probably I'm missing something obvious, but I can't find a solution to this anywhere.

  My copy of Bridge CS6 suddenly stopped showing a preview for video files image and does not play the two.  Lightroom 4.4 and Lightroom 5 also do not recognize the video files (in .mov, of .avi, clamps to m...).  My Lightroom used to have no problem playing them.

  Bridge CS4 can see and play as usual.

  I'm running OSX 10.8.5 have purged my cache in Lightroom, uninstalled and reinstalled video, updated Quicktime.

  You need to reset the preferences.  Hold down the option key and launch Bridge.  You will get a window to reset.

  I have an AE comp I did with a few credits a few weeks which was 20 seconds ago. Now, I go back to edit it - done long 52 seconds (Comp changed settings), I increased the length of each text box appears a little longer; then I also copy & paste a text layer and put it between the 2nd to last and the last layer of text.

  Then I go and copy/paste about five more layers that all go behind what I had before - in my AE comp I also put the other. I edited all the layers of copied text and type in all that much good.

  I have a background with text on top of that. The background is precomposed and then all text layers in the final composition.

  When I go to the first I see * some * of the changes immediately.

  When I go to the for first now to watch, all changes are applied until the last layer of text I've had since a few weeks ago - including all changes made to these layers as length, font and size, as well as the text layer, I put between the last and the 2nd to the last layer.

  But that's it - once the last layer before is played, no layers of text appear, but the background is perfectly well yet, everything as it should.

  In AE, it plays well and looks great.

  What I am doing wrong? How can show in AE but not first - if the background shows?

  I went to the AE and has one of the layers of this latter text to see what he would do in the body and he hid the background well, but the text still does not appear in the body but in AE.

  OK, I got a trial of Dreamweaver 5.5 on my Macbook which has expired. I uninstalled and now I am trying to install our web premium cs5. Error, "Installer could not initialize".

  Downloaded the Adviser for help, it says there is no problem.

  Any ideas?

  Do not install the application on the netwrok such that there could be some network issues that you might face. Therefore, lets take a machine with DVD and copy the contents of the DVD on the desktop and then back on the machine you want using the flash player. Try to install CS5 and check if that helps.

• The root site links does not work; CS5.5.

  My links do not work when I put my files on the test server. I test on a test server and I can't really go coding every link I have to update the old current site.

  How to make relative to the root links site work in DW and server? This article seems close and I think that the way in which my hosting is set up, this is what causes the problem.
