Option of Smartphones blackBerry DO not synchronize any mail through Desktop Manager

Is there a way to synchronize NOT mail/calender...etc with the Desktop Manager software? What happens if I want to just any other content EXCEPT mail/calendar sync? It doesn't seem to be an option for this during installation - had to choose install corporate or personal e-mail. I'm assuming that mail would continue to live sync with our installation of BES.

Happy that you guessed it work. Please take a moment to mark the thread as solved. See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new update S/W for 8900 blocks Desktop manager with Lotus Notes Calendar

I am using Notes 8.0.2 and using the Desktop Manager to synchronize contacts and calendar.

After the upgrade of your handheld S/W, released last week, the Desktop Manager synchronization crashes when it tries to read the lotus notes calendar. For this, the address book with no problems, but when it starts to read the calendar notes, it crashes.

I have used other sync software that accesses the calendar notes just to check my notes calendar was not inaccessible for any reason whatsoever and that worked well.

If it's a version management issues with Notes 8.0.2 is there a way I can go back to the previous version of the portable software that works well so far? Otherwise, any suggestions to solve this problem?

I'm done deleted my calendar on the device by following the instructions on this thread http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=8900&thread.id=403

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry will not be synchronized

When I try to sync my blackberry 8120 to my mac, I can't get a connection, I have pocketmac installed and I have tried bluetooth trans but bluetooth says my device is not necisary services and pocketmac tells me that it cannot connect to the blackberry, also I have a problem with the LENS, it is said that the service has not been activated by the phone.

    Hello!

I'm sorry to say that there is not yet any Bluetooth sync available on the Mac.  We have this request at the top of our list.

Regarding the PocketMac connection: you have one of the new features that have been released AFTER PocketMac has been published all first. Is there a solution for this. First of all, go to the download page: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/mac.jsp

and start the download process. When you move to the download screen, select PocketMac V4.0.20b for BlackBerry. Then, on the next screen, you have two choices of program to download.

You've probably already downloaded the first one under the heading "PocketMac V4.0.20b for BlackBerry." If you have deleted it, go ahead and download again.

Since you have one of the newer devices (like the 8110, 8120, 8130, 8310 or 8330), you may also need to download the patch that allows to connect you to those as well. This patch is on the same page, the section, "PocketMac Driver update - DriverUpdate.dmg."

    TO INSTALL:
1 IMPORTANT: Disconnect your BlackBerry from your Macintosh. Quit PocketMac if it is open. It is important to 'release' some files for the new patch will work.

    2. If you have uninstalled PocketMac for BlackBerry, reinstall the main program now.
    3. when the Setup program has finished, you will be asked to reboot. DO NOT CLICK on the button to restart.
    4. install the driver update file please, this installer will finish very quickly.
    5. Finally, restart the Macintosh, now that the software driver and application updater installers are completed.

Once restart is completed, please launch PocketMac for Blackberry, then plug-in your BlackBerry handheld. Click the sync button to start the synchronization session.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Outlook 2003 will not be synchronized with the Desktop Manager 5.0

I just bought a Blackberry 8900 and have installed Desktop Manager 5.0 on my PC.  I can't get my BB to sync with Outlook 2003.  When I try to configure synchronization settings, I selects the device app and click Calendar.  Then it asks what application I want to synchronize with and I select Microsoft Outlook.  Then I select two way sync (although I tried both of the clocks of a both ways and I have the same message).  I then click on elements only future transfer.  Then I get a runtime error: value of the Option is unacceptable.  Check the properties of the option.  I tried to uninstall Desktop Manager, and put it back - both from the provided CD and also on the BB site.  Any ideas on what I can do to get the sync to work?

  • New smartphone BlackBerry storm not no projection in 'My computer' as a disc as my old Storm was when connected via USB cable

I got a new storm that I see in BB Desktop Manager and see it of identification number and can see the contents of the 8 MB card, but I do not see the storm in my computer as a drive, as I have for my old storm when I connect it via USB cable.

I used to connect my old Storm and autoplay would jump to the top and I see map of the storm and the internal memory as two disks support.  Nothing shows here now...

I checked to make sure that autoplay is always set to "always ask" when my phone is connected.  I double checked to make sure that the new storm was set ON media, NULL encryption Support, ON Media transfer, Mass storage support, Auto enable Mass Storage when logged ON, etc.

The card is fine, I've recorded videos, photos and play music off it all the time and I can transfer items to using very slow BB Media Manager but I prefer to use the quick method when it is recognized as a drive.

Why it used to work on the old storm, but not on this new?

I read on some other fourms when you think you've found a new replacement Storm you get really a refurbished and for some reason that those who have a whole mass storage setting where the mode is disabled?

    Storm 9530

    v 4.7.0.148 (4.0.0.181 platform)

Thanks in advance for any advice I can get!

    Judson

Before I had a chance to even try your recommendation, I found a link on these forums for this file that I mentioned.  I'll be darn it worked... now my BB appears in my computer under two drives, and Media Sync works!  Problem solved!

It won't let me put the hyperlink to the forum page but a search for ' Blackberry Media Sync could not connect to your BlackBerry smartphone.

So who has a link to the forums on pinstack.com and you have to register with them to get the file, and then extract the RAR with Winzip file and in this file, I ran the file BB"storage"Activation with the connected BB again, which opens a DOS command prompt, you hit then any key to continue, then unplug. , wait that the BB restart, then Viola... it works again!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry does not refresh!

I got an email saying there is a new update for my phone, but it says that my blackberry is up-to-date? So I phoned o2 up to a few weeks back and they said I'm 2 updates behind! There is now a 3rd! and its not let me install any off them no solution how can I update?

What is your operating system loaded on your device?
Look at the Options > about, third line down, starting with a 'v.5.x.xxx '.
    What is yours?

    So... now.

First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • Smartphones blackBerry phone not recognized DS 4.5

I have a 8800 world edition series phone.  I did a clean install the new Desktop Software 4.5 (of 4.2 which doesn't work anymore), however the software sees the phone for a moment and then disconnects.  I reinstalled the USB drivers updated, other controllers software I thought that he maybe blocked I have a recorder of the word that he has stopped working since I installed it, uninstalled.  I have reset the BB without success.

It's very frustrating and I would like to know what I can do to make the software as my phone again! I use XP SP3 on an area and installed the desktop software as the Internet, not the /redirector of server account option because we run a BB server as I am the only person who has a BB.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

Make sure that your USB cable is connected to one of the main rear USB ports of the PC. A USB hub, or USB Monitor port not a USB port on the front of the PC.

You could do an uninstall of DM 4.5 (on your PC > start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs)

    Download Desktop Manager here:

  • Alerts calendar of Smartphones blackBerry does not

My calendar entries have yellow bells by them, but the Bb do not give any kind of alert beep or a vibration when the APPT is due. I looked in the calendar options, profiles, where my Bb has the 'normal' value and settings, but nothing on the calendar alerts setting is there.  Seems like a simple question - someone ' one knows how to turn the calendar alert?

Thank you very much for your time and best wishes!

You must first click on your profile icon, then scroll down and select Advanced. And then click normal, if that's what you use. Then, you will see all the things that you can change the tone. Click Calendar, and then adjust as you wish, remember to press the previous button and save.

I've also updated to the most recent bbm survey software and now see a calendar of bbm on my device... How can I get rid of this calendar of bbm?
