Options of the tablet in photoshop with two monitors.

Is there a way to make my tablet from Wacom intuos 3 ignore the second monitor, so I best action on my primary monitor in photoshop. I searched the Wacom driver settings with no luck. Will there be an option in the depths of the PS?

I run two 27 "iMacs side by side. I have another iMac activated as monitor it's because I'm editing the media I create in Ps in PR.

Thank you

Scott

Hello, on the Panel of Wacom preferences (from your system preferences), it is possible to configure the screen area that the Tablet is mapped on tab "Mapping" that you then need to deselect the screen area: all the, and then set the screen area to use.

  • VMware device with 2 network cards claiming the same IP address with two MAC addresses

    Hello.

I see messages intermittent my gateway network two MAC addresses associated with a virtual machine running on a 5.5 ESXi host for the same IP address.

The virtual machine is a MiTel 3300 controller for a VOIP system. the system is configured with two IP addresses, one on the local network and another with a public IP address in the DMZ. In the network configuration of the 3300, I assigned the address LAN IP at 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:B2 and the DMZ IP at 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:BC (Mac for network devices presented by the ESXi host virtual machine).

On the host, I configured a vSwitch with exclusive access to two physical network adapters on the host machine. The vSwitch is configured with two machine virtual port groups, LAN and DMZ, with access to the physical network interface cards. Tab grouping of groups vSwitch port NIC, I replaced the order of failover of the switch to activate an active NETWORK card only for the Group of LAN ports and the other card NETWORK only for the DMZ port group. (I don't know how the content of the column of networks is determined. Neither is correct for the traffic on the physical switch. If these are configurable, please advise and I'll change the settings). The relevant parameters of vSwitch, groups of ports and VM are distinguished below.

On the virtual machine itself, through the VMWare host, I assigned 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:B2 for the Group of LAN ports and 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:BC to the DMZ group port (best I can tell, anyway, since the MAC address field annoyingly obscures the last two digits of the MAC address - break if I invert the mapping) (, but all seems OK).

The goal here is to make sure that MACs of ports vSwitch the 3300 is listening and sending always correspond to the physical ports that are VLAN Tag by the physical switch to ensure the routing. Generally speaking, it seems that what is happening but, intermittently, we cross one-way calls that suggests a problem of routing between us and our SIP trunk provider; coinciding with these incidents, I get an email along the lines of "the security in the network device has detected a conflict of IP address with two or more devices. The period of INVESTIGATION "DMZ. DMZ. DMZ. DMZ' is claimed by the following clients with MAC addresses: ' 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:B2' ' 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:BC'. »

I did something in the configuration that would lead to this kind of collision intermittent? Have a hacked together a way to do something that could be accomplished in a way that is simpler and more reliable?

Thanks for any idea that you can offer.

    Kind regards

    J.

I probably don't fully understand your configuration, but it seems that you are not interested in using the collection of NETWORK adapters in the virtual switch of the VM MiTel 3300.

If it is correct, why not create two virtual switches, each with a group of port (LAN and DMZ) unique and with a separate connection of (vmnic2 and vmnic1)?

In general, collection of NETWORK adapters may be used to share traffic between uplinks and ensure that if one of the uplinks connect fails, a virtual machine still has access to the network.

Solution found by the user ES128 for touch dual monitor.
I've just set up a configuration of dual monitor with a SX2210T and a ST2220T on Windows 7. I got the touch features work correctly on both. As a first step, affecting either translated the entry only on the primary (the one that has been in primary school at the time), but after playing around with the settings I got work like I wanted. • Windows: Photoshop by using the incorrect monitor with two monitors profile

I have connected 2 very different monitors to my PC.
Both have been calibrated and I assigned the correct profiles for both monitors in the color management Panel.
I use Photoshop on monitor number 2 (the splash screen also appears when I start the program) but when I check that my color settings in Photoshop and click the dropdown menu, RGB workspace he mentions "Monitor RGB - [name of the profile number monitor 1] .icm" as my monitor RGB profile.
This is clearly the wrong profile since it must list the description regarding the number of Monitor 2.
Is there a way you can change it manually? Looks Photoshop always uses the profile to monitor number 1 any screen, you use for Photoshop.

As far as I know, it's normal. Registration is always your main screen, as set out in the operating system.

The question is - Photoshop uses the wrong profile for each display? Regardlass of registration, he must use the profile for display on each window of the image is. IOW, you can have windows image on both screens, and they all use the relevant profile.

You can test it by dragging it. When you cross the midline PS should change your profile when drop you and release the mouse.

But yes, it makes sense that Monitor RGB must be the view that contains the context of the application. I use monoecrans on my two systems, so I can't test this.

  • Why the preview window freezes with two images?

After dragging the duration of a clip in the first, the control screen freezes on this configuration, with an image left and right. The active sequence will not play and I have to wait and wait and wait until he finally snaps - in.

I tried to disable CUDA in the Mercury engine and empty the cache. This sequence is 4K, being developed with a sequence of 1080 p, but I don't think that this means that it should freeze?

  • A few Questions about the slices from Photoshop with Dreamweaver

    1. I noticed later with CS4, if I have several layers to do the bearings once I am in Dreamweaver that the layer under the main switch, does not export.  I think it was.  I then disable the button 1 (the top one) then this 2 button is visible and export the images AGAIN...  Usually in another folder, so it replaces all the previous images.  How can I get all the layers and slices to export in one fell swoop?  I think I'm missing a checkbox somewhere but can't find it.

    2. If I keep all slices in the same places they run and do not change anything with regard to their positioning.  Could I make graphic changes to a slice and then ONLY to EXPORT THAT SLICE?  He seems to want to export all the slices and I feel that could make me have to recode everything new in Dreamweaver.

    3. Finally, you guys actually code the slices into photoshop or dreamweaver?  I think you can do one, but I do it in dreamweaver because that's where I do rollovers.

I KNOW I'm doing something wrong and I try to understand what he.  Now I design a webpage, slice it upward, export it in html and graphics, then in dreamweaver, I have to remove a slice, then add once again as a rollover image in DW.  Seems wrong, but it does not work.  It's just a pain because if I have to make changes to the site, it seems that I have to re-export all of PS againnnnnn and then it all with recode bearings etc in DW.

Thanks for all the advice and answers!

    1. you must save each State separately unless you make a psd for buttons only, then you can copy - paste the buttons and record all the States in the form of separate buttons at once.

  • Wacom does not not with two monitors. MacOS 10.10.4

I hope someone can help me with this problem of Photoshop CC. I use two monitors, the left one for my tool palettes, plugins, layers, etc. and the right to display the image I am train in full screen. After the upgrade to OS 10.10.4 I now a toolbar at the top of two window (this may have been the case before, but I've never had any problems until 10.10). When I work on an image the toolbar at the top of the right screen activates and controls the keyboard and Wacom buttons do not work unless I click on the other monitor (left). Needless to say that it's a pain in the thigh. Is that what I'm stuck with or can it be turned off?

BTW, I have a Mac Pro desktop computer.

It does sound at least somewhat as the landmark white window behavior fixed, but I thought that this was not a common problem with the latest OS updates.  I'd be inclined to try if

  • AMD Radeon HD7470 with two monitors

    Hello

I have an Optiplex 7010 with an AMD Radeon HD7470 card with 2 connected screens: a 23 "monitor connected to the HDMI port with HDMI/DVI adapter, and a 17" monitor connected to the DVI port with DVI/VGA adapter. Despite the 'strange' way to connect monitors, the image is sent to two of them. Problem is I managed only to have the image duplicated on both screens (with a single resolution, which makes the strange image on the 23 "), but I needed to extend the image, since 2 applications must be run at the same time but on different screens, so I can watch both at the same time. Also, when I go to display controls on the PC, a single monitor is recognized. Is it possible to have PC recognizing both screens and to be extended, so I can put different resolutions on each monitor and have applications open on each screen?

    Hi Luigi1967,

Driver AMD Radeon HD7470 must be installed in order to have the multi-screen work display correctly. Are the drivers of your computer up to date? If this isn't the case, please download and update the drivers from here if your computer is Windows 7, Windows 8 download the drivers from here. To know exactly how to update the drivers to watch this video.

    I hope this helps.

  • Some subtle problems with two monitors on Windows 7

I used two monitors with your Windows 7 Desktop for quite awhile and I just had to replace a.  This is a problem which is probably easy to fix, but I don't know how to do it.

I figured out which monitor, I wanted to just in front of the keyboard (the larger one) and that I wanted on my right.  The new is more.  They both work very well, but there are two problems:

    1. the office and the taskbar are in the older monitor to the right - I do not know how to move.

    2. the mouse is confused.  He considers that the monitors are in the reverse position.  In other words, when the mouse is moved on the screen to the right, I have to move it OFF THE RIGHT EDGE OF the SCREEN to enter the screen on the left.  I know that I can get used to this, but I'd rather not have to.

    Thanks in advance.

    DK

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution."

(or Panel of-> screen-> the resolution).

Above under 'Change the appearance of your screens', you should see two icons of the screen display.  Simply slide one on the right to the left of the icon on the left (so that they switch positions). Then press "OK" your way out.

To select the screen that contains the task bar, select the icon for this monitor in the same screen as above and a small box should appear below the "Multiple displays" line that says 'Make this my primary monitor '.  Just check this box and OK your way out.

  • Problem with 5.2 and Terminal Wyse (P20) view with two monitors

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with our Wyse P20 terminals after that we went to view 5.2.

When a user connects first on the main screen comes on, but shuts down the secondary image and your hear Windows 7 constantly 'detect' a device - the sound when you connect a USB device.

If I put out the Terminal voltage and plug everything is OK. It seems that if you connect at the beginning there is a problem, otherwise if the user is already "connected" and simply reconnect everything is OK.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello world

Just solved the problem with the help of VMWare.

The problem was 'Basic Video' has been selected in the Configuration of the system > Boot > boot options - it doesn't have to be selected.

NOTE: The problem with multiple monitors would happen with other devices and clients (ie: Customer View under Windows), so this is going to solve the problems on these customers as well.

  • Photoshop CS5 & two monitors

I have Design Premium incl. Photoshop CS5.  Recently, I was pretty lucky to get a second monitor (soft) HOWEVER I have serious problems with the work of Photoshop.  If I drag the whole program or just a new window with an image, (a little) the image is black!  I can keep the image on my primary monitor and don't use the tools of the second but absoultely no images on the second?  This does not work with Illustrator or any other program (Adobe or other).  I Googled it until I'm sick and can not find anyone else having this problem or how to fix it.  I am running Windows XP and both screens are 1280 x 1024.

Sounds like a video driver issue.  Is it differently if you enable or disable OpenGL in preferences/Performance?
