  • Password reset disk error - "year error occurred while the wizard attempted to set the password for this user account.

    Hello!

    -A bit of background: the desktop PC that I use is Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, with active user accounts total five. I have my own account, and I can access the computer through (or through account from my brother, because I know its password).--

    I had this problem recently came where the administrator password (that I know for a long time and never changed) no longer works. So, after some research, I created a reset password on a USB disk, that I found in my house. I managed to create the disc, but when I tried to put the new password, I got the message error "an error occurred while the wizard attempted to set the password for this user account', which I must say is not very clear. I found a few methods of force - reset the password for the account of the admin, as using a sort of Windows Vista DVD or go to Safe Mode to find the hidden administrator account... but I have no idea what this DVD is or where to find, and in Safe Mode, there is no account user administrator to be seen. I believe that my machine is corrupted, but I don't want to buy a new. I want just to reset a password...

    Any help is appreciated. If I was not specific enough, I can specify in comments.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    You must make a password reset disk before that there are problems with a password, not afterwards.

    ________________________________________________________________

    Read this for your problem:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/940765

    If you are unable to connect to Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you can use the Windows Vista System Restore feature, or the Windows 7 system restore feature.

    You may be unable to connect to Windows Vista or Windows 7 in the following scenarios:

    • Scenario 1: You recently set a new password for the protected administrator account. However, you don't remember the password.
    • Scenario 2: You type the correct password. However, Windows Vista or Windows 7 does not accept the password because the system is damaged.
    • Scenario 3: You delete a protected administrator account. Now, you cannot connect to another administrator account.
    • Scenario 4: You change an administrator account protected with a standard user account. Now, you cannot connect to another administrator account.

    You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

    Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

    Ok. It's known problems. Please see note KM below.

    Hyperion Financial Management error "User has no access rights to perform this task of newspaper" at the opening of the newspapers Module (Doc ID 1678354.1)

    To resolve this problem, you must apply the Patch 18792393 HFM PSU 11.1.2.3.501. I always suggest to apply the latest patch 11.1.2.3.700 that includes all previous patches service patches.

  • An internal error occurred while the diagram is open

    Hi all

    Built an interface and run OK. Returned to him a few hours later and got the message "an error internal...." "when trying to open the rest mapping tab of the interface seems OK but there is another error trying to save which suggests ODI is trying to insert a null value in its own metadata.

    Found a thread since the beginning of the year where Bos had same problem. It was suggested to rebuild the interface. Does this. Run Ok and could move forward and backward in the tab map, while fixing bugs. ODI has been closed and tried to open the mapping on the new interface, but get the same error.

    With the help of ODI 11 g 11.1.1.5
    The interface has two Tmp derived data inside stores and two warehouses of persistent data.

    I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

    It of late now so have not explored metalink etc. but will continue in the morning.

    If anyone has any tips please tell. This is the top of the Java error stack (but I doubt it's useful)

    Morning.

    Had the chance to watch on metalink now and this problem is covered in the notes 1279132.1

    He suggests that this is caused when ODI Studio is set up with one language other than English. It also suggests that this problem is corrected in 11.1.1.5.0

    The English could apply to our configuration but we are on the right group of hotfixes. However, the difficulty in the note is working!

    Hope this helps someone.

  • Why I get an ORA-04052 error when I try to compile a procedure?

    Hello
    The following procedure I get an ORA-04052 error when I try to compile the following procedure.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE APPS.Find_String (
     pin_referenced_name IN dba_dependencies.referenced_name%TYPE)

    IS

    cursor cur_get_dependancy

      FROM [email protected]        -- prod.world
     WHERE lower(referenced_name) = lower(pin_referenced_name) --'ftbv_salesrep_all_1d'
       AND referenced_type <> 'SYNONYM'
       AND owner <> 'SYS'
     order by name;

    v_owner  varchar2(40);
    v_name   varchar2(50);
    v_type   varchar2(40);

        BEGIN

           dbms_output.put_line(upper(pin_referenced_name)||' is found in the following objects.');
           dbms_output.put_line(' ');
           dbms_output.put_line(RPAD('OWNER', 30, ' ')||RPAD('NAME', 60, ' ')||RPAD('OBJECT TYPE', 30, ' '));
           dbms_output.put_line('-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------');

            FOR i IN cur_get_dependancy
            LOOP
                v_owner := RPAD(i.owner, 30, ' ');
                v_name  := RPAD(i.name, 45, ' ');
                v_type  := RPAD(i.type, 30, ' ');

                dbms_output.put_line(v_owner ||v_name|| v_type);

            END LOOP;

    END find_string;
    I use the [email protected] link. Commented compiles it procedure for other links of database used in the cursor, including the one to the right of the code 'prod.world '.

    What is even more strange is that I took the SELECT statement
    SELECT distinct owner, name, type
      FROM [email protected]        -- prod.world
     WHERE lower(referenced_name) = lower(pin_referenced_name) --'ftbv_salesrep_all_1d'
       AND referenced_type <> 'SYNONYM'
       AND owner <> 'SYS'
     order by name;
    the procedure and he ran on the command line by using the link to @pinp.world, the SQL statement is fine. But when I tried to compile the procedure above to this exact same SQL query with the same exact link I get the following string of errors.
    ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object [email protected]
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-02068: following severe error from PINP
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
    How the link can work very well in a regular SQL but then cause an error when its code compiled in that otherwise compile correctly when you use any link, or even just a simple database. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hello

    Good thounght, but no, there is no privilege SELECT ANY VIEW; SELECT ANY TABLE includes views and materilaized.

    I suspect that the problem is something specific to the data dictionary. I have just connected as SYS and granted SELECT ANY TABLE to another user with minimum privileges, X. X, ALL_VIEWS included so all views dba_, including the dba_dependencies. However, X was still unable to dba_dependencies the query either in SQL * more or PL/SQL.

  • Error occurs when calling remote ADFService11G service. Details: ADFException-3007: The ViewObject "AppModule.VO3" is used as a destination more than a ViewLink. (HY000)

    Hello

    Thanks in advance for helping me to solve after publication:

    I tried to run a report of OBIEE including data model comes from the layer of the ADF.

    In my module of the application, I have 5 display objects:

    For Ex: VO1 VO2 VO3, VO4 VO5

    And I show the links between: VO1 and VO2 (lets say: VO1_VO2_VIewLink).

    VO2 at VO3 ((permet de dire: VO2_VO3_VIewLink)), VO4 is related to the ((permet de dire: VO4_VO3_VIewLink) VO3) & VO5 is linked to VO3 (lets say: VO5_VO3_VIewLink)

    When I deploy this application on OBIEE and run a report with objects of:

    (1) VO1 and VO2-report works fine

    (2) VO2 and VO3 -report works fine

    (3) VO4 and VO3 -report works fine

    (4) VO5 and VO3 -report works fine

    (5) VO1, VO2, VO3 -report works fine

    It is when I run the report with the objects of

    VO1 and VO2 VO3 VO4, it throws an error message:

    "Error occurs when calling remote ADFService11G service. Details: ADFException-3007: The ViewObject "AppModule.VO3" is used as a destination more than a ViewLink. (HY000) »

    OBIEE Version is: 11.1.1.7.0 (with no patches) basis data: 11 GR 2, Jdev:11.1.1.7.0

    Kind regards

    RAM.

    I was able to resolve this error by changing my AppModule datamodel application, by changing the cardinality between VO3 and any other 1: n VO (VO3) to 1 (VO3): n. making VO3 as source VO object rather than view destination object.

    Kind regards

    RAM.

    ORA-01653: unable to extend the JTF table. 16 in the APPS_TS_TX_DATA tablespace JTF_DIAGNOSTIC_LOG

    Seems like tablespace APPS_TS_TX_DATA is saturated, you need to add space.

    Use script below about the space available in each data file:-

    Select substr(df.tablespace_name,1,45) table_space,
    Sum (FS.bytes) free,
    substr(DF.file_name,45) Name_of_File.
    DF.bytes,
    substr (DF. Status, 1, 5) stat
    from dba_data_files df, dba_free_space fs
    where df.tablespace_name = "APPS_TS_TX_DATA."
    Group of substr (df.tablespace_name, 1, 45),
    substr (DF.file_name, 1, 45),
    DF.bytes, substr (DF. Status, 1, 5);

    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '' RESIZE 3000 M; - increase the size according to your need and availablitiy.

    Thank you

  • ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL when the proc via db_link

    Hello
    I'm on 9.2.0.8 and got a strange problem with simple test cases
    on source db:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE ADMIN.gg_ref(out_tokens OUT SYS_REFCURSOR) is
      BEGIN
      OPEN out_tokens for select dummy from dual;
    END ;
    /

    Now testing code localy:
    SQL> var r refcursor
    SQL> declare
      2   output sys_refcursor;
      3  begin
      4   adminx.gg_ref(output);
      5  :r:=output;
      6  end;
      7  /

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    SQL> print r

    D
    -
    X

    So its working.

    I've got db_link to that db , and now call that proc via dblink from other 9.2.0.8 DB:

    var r refcursor
      1  declare
      2   output sys_refcursor;
      3  begin
      4   admin.gg_ref@LINK_NAME(output);
      5  :r:=output;
      6* end;
    SQL> /
    declare
    *
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
    What wrong with my code?
    Is there a any restriction that I'm not aware?
    Concerning
    GregG

    GregG says:

    What should my code looks like now?
    Should I rewrite this as function returns the index of collection or something?

    You can use DBMS_SQL - but use the remote package and not the local. It's a little more complex ito call interface you use a Ref Cursor, but is the same server-side. DBMS_SQL also provides a more comprehensive set of features to use the ref cursor interface.

    Most, however, is add code - DBMS_SQL is a lower level interface (much closer to the real Oracle Call Interface/OIC):

     --// on remote database the procedure returns a DBMS_SQL cursor instead of a ref cursor
    SQL> create or replace procedure FooProc( cur in out number, deptID number ) is
      2          rc      number;
      3  begin
      4          cur := DBMS_SQL.open_cursor;
      5
      6          DBMS_SQL.parse(
      7                  cur,
      8 'select ename from emp where deptno = :deptID',
      9                  DBMS_SQL.native
     10          );
     11
     12          DBMS_SQL.Bind_Variable( cur, 'deptID', deptID );
     13
     14          rc := DBMS_SQL.Execute( cur );
     15  end;
     16  /

    Procedure created.

    --// from the local database side we call this remote proc
    SQL> declare
      2          c               number;  --// instead of using sys_refcursor
      3 empName varchar2(10); --// buffer to fetch column into
      4  begin
      5          FooProc@testdb( c, 10 );  --/ call the proc that creates the cursor
