I have a situation.

During one of my tests on a standby, I issued an order by mistake "Alter database recovery managed standby database finish", but I didn't do a failover.

And now I want to activate MRP by running the command 'Alter database recover managed standby disconnect session' I get alert ora in the alerts log

"

MRP0: Background Media Recovery terminated with error 16157

Errors in the /var/opt/oracle/diag/rdbms/himmyprd1/himmyprd1/trace/himmyprd1_pr00_13513.trc file:

ORA-16157: recovery media not permitted after successful recovery of FINISHING

"

Is their anyway I can start the MRP and set the day before because it was earlier, or do I have to rebuild the day before.

If you have any questions "alter database recover managed standby database finish;", it reports oracle recovery is complete for database pending and you'll be performing a failover operation.

If you have started this command accidentally, then I can say that it is your bad luck... You have to rebuild only the database of relief and no go.

    For your confusion:

    Just create a user in IOM and give a date of cancellation as the current date. Now, try to provide any resources it then it will show you the same error you get

    "* Commissioning is not allowed after the cancellation date is passed."

    So I use Windows XP Home Edition. I decided to be protected from viruses so I turn on the firewall and automatic updates from Microsoft. (It worked fine without automatic updates, but I just wanted to be sure). After the update was finished, I move to shut down the computer.     I properly set up eFax to my network printer.  Have already sent a fax.

    This may seem a little strange, but it has been known to resolve this issue. Press the ePrint button in the upper left and corner of the screen to your printer. When he shows the ePrint information, press 'Print Info' or 'print the State.     Having spent the last 48 hours trying to solve this problem of talking to TPC for two hours, I was finally able to reinstall the program successfully.  If you get an error message during the installation which results in error 1305.Error (i.e. check that the lib.tar file exists and that you can access), there is a problem with the length of the filepath name.  In addition, it might be a problem with the installation of MSXML 4.0.   Here are the steps I took:

    (1) I created a folder in my C: / drive with a very short name (i.e. two letters).
    (2) I downloaded the file CD_English.exe of the site Web of PTC for Mathcad 14.0.  It is under its support page.  This is the version put out on listening to Mathcad 14.0.  I extracted all the files in the new folder of file with a short name.
    (3) after downloading, I opened the PreReq file and clicked on all the files listed for install.  When you install msxml, go through the Setup Wizard and click on modify.  Make sure that the XML SDK option is checked.  Complete the installation.
    4) go to the setup.exe file and install Mathcad.

    I think I just found the reason... and a deaf mute.

    I have installed many programs of news lately for the WebCam and connect it to my DirectTV DVR.  So I did not understand that the wrong software belongs to but think it is the WebCam install stuff that belongs to Live Messenger.

    Anywho, the process that prevents any software vmWare installation or execution was "FixCamera.exe".

    Once I have debug more I will update this list.

    It's by chance luck that I found that I was killing various thought process that it could be linked to the virus filters.

    I solved this problem in BIOS Advanced\SATA config\SB SATA config.  as follows

    SATA port 1-4 = AHCI initially

    SATA port 1-4 = new IDE

    SATA port 5-6 = IDE these ports used with DVD, a comic book should be like ports 1-4
