Oracle 10 g 10.2.0.3 (win 32) win64 bit platform migration

Hello

We use oracle11i (11.5.10.2) with oracle version 10.2.0.3 on windows 2000 server (32-bit) database and we get ORA-04030 error according to the Recommendation of oracle, we need to migrate the windows 64-bit platform.
so my question is there also we need to buy new software to oracle 10g compatible win 64 platform or can we use same oracle10g software for win 64-bit to install oracle 10.2.0.3?

Thank you

First of all, there is no need to relocate the jdk system. Part of your problem is more likely the result of a known limit which is caused by the system path or the CLASSPATH containing special characters like the parentheses in (x 86). So, follow these steps:

Before you begin, make sure that your computer has a static IP address. If it is not the case, you need to install the loopback adapter Windows. For more details, read the Setup Guide and system requirements.

    1. clean your installation attempts failed. Don't forget to also delete the folder C:\bea assuming that no other product does WLS.

2 uninstall the 64-bit jdk and reinstall where you prefer. I would recommend its default location.

3 log in Notepad and let it open as a place of detention to paste the following information.

    4. open system properties. Computer > right click > properties > Advanced System Properties > Environment Variables

    5. search for the path in the system variables and values cut into the Clipboard and paste them into Notepad session, that you opened above. Save this information for later.

    6. in the value of path, he has defined as follows, make sure the path to the jdk is correct for your installation:

    % SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%; C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_37\bin

    7. you need the 'generic' WLS download if you plan to run 64-bit. It is a jar instead of an exe file. Assuming you are using WLS 10.3.6, open a DOS window and start Setup as follows:
    java-jar C:\PathToJar\wls1036_generic.jar

After completing the installation of WLS and FMw installation and configuration, you can reset your WAY to the way you want to.

  • How to install Oracle RAC using GR 11, 2 on Win 7 32 bit from scratch?

    HIII,

    I am a cool and I have a win 7 32 bit with oracle 11 g 2 system.

I want to install RAC with two servers or more, but I don't know too much about.

I tried searching on google but all they give information into pieces (for win 7) or Linux on (please tell me why its all Linux everywhere not Windows).

Please let me know if there is a site where I can find installation step by step from scratch.

What are the basic requirements (/ software if necessary).

    Thank you.

    Hello

Firstly forget Windows! Oracle is mainly designed for Linux systems. Oracle as a true process runs multiple on the Linux machines while under Windows, it runs as a single process with multi-thread.

Using memory - huge pages, single CPU run queue, drop-outs, storage... etc are a lot of concepts.

Also Windows is one of the most poorly designed operating systems, you must use only for watching movies of cute kitten on youtube... Believe me, you don't want to learn Oracle on Windows...

Install virtualbox and then configure Oracle Enterprise Linux on it at first... By the way you have to deal with the DNS server of version 11.X, RAC, you can start with 10g for now.

ORACLE-BASE has all the installation steps explained detailly, search for "oracle rac install base" on google.

I also explained on my blog, but it is a little more advanced installation by using the ZFS storage Simulator. The DNS server installation is also explained: http://ilkertaysi.com/2013/11/11/oracle-rac-installation-with-zfs-storage/

    Hello

    Background:

    Issues related to the:
    1 does extproc for Oracle 64-bit 11.1.0.7 on Win 2003 64 - bit 32-bit DLL load?
2 when searched got a quite a lot of link on extproc32 (for all versions of UNIX), but not for Windows and found this link Extproc32 installation - what want to say it is not possible to load the 32-bit on Windows 64-bit installation DLL?
    3. is there no work around? Or am I confused so I would now go back and restore the 32-bit Setup?

  • Deskotop BEEP 11.1.1.6 (32-bit) with Office 2010 (32-bit) on Win 7 64 bit

    Deskotop BEEP 11.1.1.6 (32 bit)
    Office 2010 (32-bit)
    Win 7 (64-bit)

The matrix of current certification seems to say that this is supported, but I'm having the following problem:

    1. I have an existing model of the RTF, with the data model that works. I ran it for sure and then I display output and check.
    2. If Iopen this model RTF in office of BEEP, then delete a field and using the browser of field (or insert > field) add this same rear of field, or a new a report generates no output.

Download the RTF, the process ends with the warning from the State, and it fails during post processing. I watch the Post processor output error. Edit the RTF template with a text editor and see that instead of putting a <? YOUR_FIELDNAME? > BEEP Office has rather add something similar to the following: <? Ref: xdo0001? >. The only solution I have right now is to manually edit these tags, but for large BEEP reports, it's heavy and unacceptable for a long-term solution.

Is there a solution? or a reported bug? I couldn't find anything on MOS for this.

Here is the log of the OPP, you see the error points to the "REF" element that was added by BIP:Desktop.

  • Latest version of Firefox does not work on Win 7 64 bit

Downloaded the latest version of Firefox and installed on my newly built computer Win 7 64 bit. When I click on the shortcut of Firefox, it absolutely nothing happens. No processes appear in the Task Manager, nothing. Googled the question and I tried many patches recommended without result. At a loss on how to fix, Firefox is unusable at this point.

In the case where the program files were damaged during installation, you can try:

    Clean reinstall it

    (A) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 41.0.1 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (B) delete the folder of the current program to:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    (C) run the installer downloaded to (A). I'm NOT suggesting it as an administrator.

  • iTunes - stay on Win 7 64 bit upgrade, win 10 64-bit

I am running Win 7 64 bit on an older PC (disputed material 4 GB memory limitation). I have an iPhone TO an ipad mini and an old ipad.

Specifically regarding iTunes - should I stay with what works fine now (Win 7 64-bit) or take advantage of the free upgrade (?) to win 10 64 bit.

Yes, I know... a little late to ask this question. I keep procrastinating.  I search for related positions, did not find anything that general.

If you decide to improve see your iTunes backup for Windows with SyncToy library for a backup plan proposed. iTunes seems does not fare terribly well during an upgrade on Windows 10 site so it might be an idea to uninstall all Apple software before upgrading, and then reinstall later. Hello

    As I m not wrong, G30-198 supports the Intel® Core 2 Duo T7200 processor

According to the Intel page http://ark.intel.com/products/27255/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T7200 this processor supports 64-bit architecture
So you shouldn't have trouble to install a 64-bit system

  • No sound on a Satellite P100-324 using don't Win 7 64 bit

    Hi all

    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite P100 - 324.
I installed Win 7 64 bit on this computer and I have problem with sound now.

My sound does not work. I tried to install a driver but without result.
I tried to download the driver from realtek but it was the same thing.

Do you know how I can run on this PC?

    Thanks for your advice

    Marek

    Hello

Satellite P100-324 belongs to the series of PSPA6E.
The European driver Toshiba page asserts that Realtek audio driver should be compatible.
But the Realtek audio driver Toshiba on page is released for Win 7 32 bit, not 64-bit.

I recommend the driver on the Realtek page. There you should find one that suits.

You can also check the Dev ID and could find the compatible driver for internet.

  • NB550D - best way to install Win 7 64-bit and 64-bit drivers

    Hello

I improved my NB550D to Windows7 Home Premium and installed 4 GB of RAM.
This works much better, but want to go further and make a Windows7 Ultimate _64bit_ _clean install_ in order to take full advantage of theupgrade in RAM.

My question is: what should I do about the Toshiba drivers for 64-bit? I guess I'm going to need some?

What is the best way to go about the upgrade - any help will be appreciated! : D

If you need to switch to Win 7 64 bit, then you need some Win 7 64 bit drivers.
On the European driver Toshiba page, I could find some 64-bit drivers, but it seems that not all Toshiba for Win 7 64-bit tools are released.

Drivers for WLan or BT stack can be found here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

Other drivers or Toshiba tools such as value added package or Face Recognition, Eco utility and others could be used with other series of portable for example by Satellite C660D or others such as L750D, L755D or C670D
Surely you must pay attention to the integrated graphics chip, the LAN or the chipset
Use the drivers that are released for fleas in NB550D
