Oracle Forms 11.1.2.0 on Win 7 64-bit bit JVM error

Try installing Oracle Forms 11.1.2.0 on Win 7 64 bit and get INST-07407: unable to detect the platform of the machine or the pieces of the JVM.

I read somewhere where you have spaces in the JDK install path problems, so I changed the path to c:\oracle\java instead of C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.6.0_24. I have a 64 bit installed JDK. What else could be the cause of this error message? Open a request to Oracle service was no help - hoping to help here. I set JAVA_HOME and added the House of java at the end of the PATH. I can start and stop the weblogic home C:\Oracle\middleware_oraforms middleware server.

First of all, there is no need to relocate the jdk system. Part of your problem is more likely the result of a known limit which is caused by the system path or the CLASSPATH containing special characters like the parentheses in (x 86). So, follow these steps:

Before you begin, make sure that your computer has a static IP address. If it is not the case, you need to install the loopback adapter Windows. For more details, read the Setup Guide and system requirements.

1. clean your installation attempts failed. Don't forget to also delete the folder C:\bea assuming that no other product does WLS.

2 uninstall the 64-bit jdk and reinstall where you prefer. I would recommend its default location.

3 log in Notepad and let it open as a place of detention to paste the following information.

4. open system properties. Computer > right click > properties > Advanced System Properties > Environment Variables

5. search for the path in the system variables and values cut into the Clipboard and paste them into Notepad session, that you opened above. Save this information for later.

6. in the value of path, he has defined as follows, make sure the path to the jdk is correct for your installation:

% SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%; C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_37\bin

7. you need the 'generic' WLS download if you plan to run 64-bit. It is a jar instead of an exe file. Assuming you are using WLS 10.3.6, open a DOS window and start Setup as follows:
java-jar C:\PathToJar\wls1036_generic.jar

After completing the installation of WLS and FMw installation and configuration, you can reset your WAY to the way you want to.

    HIII,

    I am a cool and I have a win 7 32 bit with oracle 11 g 2 system.

    I want to install RAC with two servers or more, but I don't know too much about.

    I tried searching on google but all they give information into pieces (for win 7) or Linux on (please tell me why its all Linux everywhere not Windows).

    Please let me know if there is a site where I can find installation step by step from scratch.

    What are the basic requirements (/ software if necessary).

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Firstly forget Windows! Oracle is mainly designed for Linux systems. Oracle as a true process runs multiple on the Linux machines while under Windows, it runs as a single process with multi-thread.

    Using memory - huge pages, single CPU run queue, drop-outs, storage... etc are a lot of concepts.

    Also Windows is one of the most poorly designed operating systems, you must use only for watching movies of cute kitten on youtube... Believe me, you don't want to learn Oracle on Windows...

    Install virtualbox and then configure Oracle Enterprise Linux on it at first... By the way you have to deal with the DNS server of version 11.X, RAC, you can start with 10g for now.

    ORACLE-BASE has all the installation steps explained detailly, search for "oracle rac install base" on google.

    I also explained on my blog, but it is a little more advanced installation by using the ZFS storage Simulator. The DNS server installation is also explained: http://ilkertaysi.com/2013/11/11/oracle-rac-installation-with-zfs-storage/

  • How to recover Contacts and former e-mail records after changinf Win 7 32 bit to Win 7 64 bit?

    Before I loaded Window 7 64 bit, I saved all my data files into Windows.old and that the file is still there. I know may Contacts and notes folders/old E-mail (Outlook.pst) are in the Windows.old folder. Can I import or directly replace the new files created so I don't have to manually enter the information this old? How can I do?

    You can, but you need to hurry: the Windows.old folder automatically deletes itself after awhile.  It is not supposed to be a backup.

    Basically you can just go to the folder and find (or search) to your PST file.  Open your Outlook and choose file > import to get imported old PST data.

  • RALink wireless LAN 802.11n card and my WIN 8 64 bit PC error Code 31: no driver updates available

    22/12/2012 bought ASUS CM6780 PC running 64-bit. RALink Wireless LAN crashed my system twice in 10 months. ASUS support allows only a "System Restore" which means you start from scratch with ALL your programs, updates etc etc.
    I get the error code indicating 'Bad Image' with several pop-up window for what I am running, and the Ralink Lan has an error code 31 showing Windows cannot update.
    I have my 1 year warranty AND a 3 year warranty, I purchased in addition to this, but the ASUS support is lame. Only help to restore the system not to find a real solution, and when I ask a new LAN card, they do not respond.
    Is this a problem with updates of Windows or Ralink?
    Please advise, downtime for each episode runs more than 24 hours, restore my programs and update everything. I'm ready to trash or sell it!

    Send the minidump to analyze what is causing the BSOD,

    This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).  So install the Ralink wireless driver.

  • Is it possible to configure jpi_codebase to autodownload JRE for Oracle Forms 11.1.2.2.0 8?

    We are currently working with Oracle Forms and reports 11.1.2.2.0 (64-bit) using Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6 (64-bit) installed with the 64-bit JDK 1.7.0_40. Currently, we configure the YPI parameters (jpi_download_page, jpi_codebase, etc.) to use Java 7. Here is an excerpt from formsweb.cfg of that we deploy to end users to download a 7 Java JRE (Java 7u67 taking as an example):

    jpi_download_page = http://Java.Sun.com/products/archive/J2SE/7u67/index.html

    jpi_classid = clsid:CAFEEFAC-0017-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA

    jpi_codebase = http://Java.Sun.com/update/1.7.0/jinstall-7u67-Windows-i586.cab#version=1, 7,0,67

    jpi_mimetype = application/x-java-applet

    NOTE: For the jpi_classid, we use clsid:CAFEEFAC-0017-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA so that users can continue to use their currently installed Java JRE 7 without being forced to use a specific update to Java 7.

    As we know that update of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8 5 or higher is supported with clients running an Oracle Forms application 11.1.2.2.0 inside their Web browsers supported by the Oracle for the 11.1.2.2.0 forms certification matrix (we are aware that the JDK 8 is not supported with 11.1.2.2.0 forms) found at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/es/middleware/docs/oracle-forms-111220certmatrix-2087910.xls?ssSourceSiteId=otnen We want to be able to set up automatic downloading for JRE 8 using the parameters of YPI formsweb.cfg (or help 'EM under "Setting up the Web"). As we know in Internet Explorer, the URL in the jpi_codebase parameter is where it can find the .cab file for the automatic download of the JRE. Even if it works well for JRE 6 and 7 of the JRE, if we were to use the configuration settings following parameter changed to 8 JRE:

    jpi_download_page = http://Java.Sun.com/products/archive/J2SE/8u25/index.html

    jpi_classid = clsid:CAFEEFAC-0018-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA

    jpi_codebase = http://java.sun.com/update/1.8.0/jinstall-8u25-windows-i586.cab#Version=1, 8,0,25

    jpi_mimetype = application/x-java-applet

    nothing happens in the browser launches the application Forms.

    Use the jpi_codebase setting, if we go directly to http://Java.Sun.com/update/1.8.0/jinstall-8u25-Windows-i586.cab to download the JRE, we get an error saying: "File not found."

    We went to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/autodownload-140472.html on the Oracle Web site, which explains the more information on the identification of the URL appropriate for auto-download of JRE, it only shows the URL for JRE 7u71 and 7u71 structure. We used this provision to JRE 8, but we get the "File not found" error when you use the URL directly.

    According to these results, someone happens to know if 8 JRE is currently available (or even supported) for automatic download by using the parameters of YPI in formsweb.cfg? We know that anyone can download the latest Java 7 or 8 Java JRE manually from Oracle, but it would be convenient if he could be auto-téléchargé if it is currently possible. It would be more a une question question for the forum Java or Java Runtime, let me know.

    Thank you

    Scott

    Scott, have you had a look at metalink? (always a good place to look if you have a proper support contract).

  • Console debugging Oracle forms 6i

    Hello

    where the Oracle forms 6i debug console?

    There is no 'Debug' menu, and I can't find the debug anywhere console.

    Forms 6i debugger is not the Debug Console with the form window values (for poster modules currently loaded and the item values and parameter),

    window spy (to specify the variables you want to monitor when your application debugging)...,.

    but we can get such information (in the ugliest way) in the pane Navigation Debug Forms 6i.

    We also use debugging triggers which are a general form of debugging action involving a block of PL/SQL code with a specific line within a program unit.

    See, for example. This using Forms 6i:

    Debugging triggers are particularly useful as conditional breakpoints.

    You can throw the exception of DEBUGGING. Break UP with a trigger.

    For example, the trigger for debugging below sets a conditional breakpoint on line 10 of my_proc, which will be achieved only if the my_sal local variable NUMBER exceeds 5000:
