Oracle 11 g 2 Client (11.2.0.3.0)

Anyone know if this patch is?

Oracle 11 GR 2 Windows 32-bit Client (11.2.0.3.0)

I searched on the Oracle Support, but did not.

Thank you!

There is only one patch for server and client. Just to download the patch, run the Setup program and select the appropriate option.

    Your ID of Customer Support (ISC) is the unique ID to your company (or indeed yourself as an individual if you are so lucky) when you purchase oracle licenses (i.e. become a paying customer) who should have a company that uses Oracle in the trade.  Someone within the company (your company) will be the 'customer user administrator' and they have the possibility to connect to My Oracle Support and associate other people in society against the CSI for the company, allowing them to use My Oracle Support and increase the requests of Support (SR) with Oracle directly.  For example, in our Organization, one of our DBA is the AUC, so when I joined I had to go to his house to ask him to add me, so that I could raise calls for technical support with Oracle and the community of MOS and the knowledge base of research.

    Once you have access to My Oracle Support (MOS) you can search this is the knowledge base, download patches and other versions of the software is not available publicly, or lift SRs to get help from Oracle.

    Hello

    I want to install Oracle 12 c client Runtime on RHEL 6 Server. I downloaded and ran the installation of the Oracle database software download package, but I have no option to install the right Client. Is there another package to download for the facilities of customers? I need the client Runtime, not instant client.

  • SSL via CRMI. Oracle has documented RIDC client code is not compiled.

    This part of the oracle documentation does not compile:

    4 . SSL configuration

    RIDC authorizes the communication of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with Oracle Content Server using the Protocol of communication Intradoc.

    Note:

    You must install and activate the safety component suppliers on the Oracle Content Server instance you want to access and configure the server for SSL communications content.

    An example of use of the IDC on a Secure (SSL) Socket Protocol:

    // build a secure IDC client as cast to specific type

    IntradocClient idcClient = (IntradocClient manager.createClient("idcs://localhost:54444");

    // set the SSL socket options

    config.setKeystoreFile("ketstore/client_keystore");

    config.setKeystoreAliasPassword("password");

    //password for keystore alias

    For more information, see "SSL Communication with Oracle Content Server" .

    config.  is not present. What configuration is intended?

    I tried:

    idcClient = new IdcClientManager () .createClient (getProperty (MY_IDC_URL));

    idcClient.getConfig (). ....

    There are a few options, described in the API:

    IdcClientConfig (Oracle Fusion Middleware remote control Client Intradoc (RIDC) Java API Reference)

    But there is none:

    setKeystoreFile

    setKeystoreAliasPassword

    If I use "setProperty", should what property names I use?

    keystoreFile

    keystorePassword

    keystoreAlias

    keystoreAliasPassword

    ?

    Thanks in advance for your help...

    Kind regards

    Michael

    OK, after that I ask myself the question, I found an answer myself. Sometimes, just to explain the problem to someone else and we'll find a way.

    In the description of the API, there were oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.intradoc.IntradocClientConfig class

    IntradocClientConfig has requested methods.

    Should work now.

  • Error when import to Oracle table (OBIEE Server Client 32-bit & 64-bit)

    Hi all

    Problem: ODBC/OCI connectivity problem between OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 server (64-bit) and OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 machine local BP1 client (32-bit).

    We have an 11.1.1.6.2 BP1(64-bit) OBIEE Setup on a 'Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise' 64-bit machine.

    OBIEE dev team members have 32-bit local machines.
    OBIEE "Admin member of the team" (who will work on RPD) to OBIEE 11 g customer (BP1) installed on their * 32-bit local machine * (which is a common software for 32/64-bit).

    Now, two ODBC connections have been created on this local 32-bit Client computer, client 11g OBIEE installed on it.
    A "server BI driver" for the OBIEE server machine(64-bit) to open the RPD and other connection with "Oracle database driver" to connect to the Oracle 64-bit desktop databaseto import tables.

    With this configuration made, I am able to open the RPD in online mode and mode sampleapp existing related objects present in it.
    But when I try to import metadata to the client admin OBIEE tool using the BEAK or ODBC, it gives an error "connection failed!"

    I have the tns required in my tnsnames.ora file entry and I am able to connect to this database on the local client computer, using sqlplus.

    Kindly let me know if there are restrictions in the use of such a combination of settings for 32-bit machines and 64 bits for OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 setup.
    If this isn't the case, so what are the steps to do the btw client 64 bit and 32 bit OBIEE OBIEE server configuration to create the table of import job.

    You can try using the OIC instead of ODBC connection type?
    Implementation of the native ODBC drivers is not always do the job.

    Also, make sure you have defined the TNS_ADMIN environment variable.

    Yes, you can. You must separate oracle-houses, but it's doable. You may also modify your environment variables when you run version 11 client (depending on your operating system).
    I had probably used personally in this case the 11g 'Instant customer '.

    >

    You can download and install the 'instant' Client on an OTN account.
    Of course, in production, you should always have a valid license of the Oracle. ;-)

    Hi all
    Can someone tell me if I need a customer of Oracle x 64 bit or a 32-bit client x installed on my x 64 bit w2k3 box so that HFM to communicate to the x 64-bit Oracle Server? Also, on my other 64-bit servers with 32-bit software Hyperion x x (Shared Services, EN, etc.). Do I need to install Oracle client 32-bit x? Please advise, thank you in advance for your help.

    We are implementing 11.1.1.3.

    According to our experience so far:
    FDM is best installed on a 32-bit operating system with a 32-bit oracle client
    our HFM, they are installed on a 64 bit OS and with a 64-bit oracle client

  • How to Create Oracle Home for Windows Client?

    I downloaded the latest version of the client Oracle for Windows here:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/software/tech/OCI/instantclient/htdocs/WinSoft.html

    The problem is that they are just ZIP files, so they install an Oracle Home that I can select with the selector of the House. There are utilities that can create an Oracle Home registry entry for you?

    Thank you
    Kurz

    There is an option to download only client for Windows (and Linux I believe). It happens to be located along the coast that the downloads for you database make it as if you try to download the database and in the end, you will see an option for a client download only. The download only client that comes with the Oracle Universal Installer is a few hundred MB, not as big as the download of the database, but much better than the Instant Client download.
