Oracle 11 g Express Edition 11.2.0.0 not supported the impdp utility?

Hello

We strive to import a dump Oracle Express Edition, without success. We got the error message: ORA-39213: metadata processing is not available.

(A) source database: database Oracle 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0
(B) target database: database Oracle 11 g Express Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0

You are looking for a solution has led us to the following forum entries:

1 http://kmpdba.wordpress.com/2012/05/02/ora-39213-metadata-processing-is-not-available/ Cause: package DBMS_METADATA_UTIL does not run successfully. Solution: install (among others) SQL > @$ORACLE_HOME/javavm/install/initjvm.sql
2. purpose: there is no scrript of @$ORACLE_HOME/javavm/install/initjvm.sql--> http://www.oracle.com/us/products/database/enterprise-edition/comparisons/index.html--> Oracle 11 g EX does not support java

Issues related to the:

(a) does support Oracle 11 g EX impdp utility at all?
(b) how it would be possible to import the dump mentioned above in (A) in (B)?

Thanks in advance,

Michel

Hello
It seems ike datapump has somehow been corrupted somehow. You can recharge at 11.2 by running:

@?/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql as SYS (connections to is arrested all get it first).

Then try again.

I don't really use XE, but I don't see why datapump doesn't work - some function/feature can be turned off, but the main feature is expected to be there.

Agress,
Harry

    I want to download Oracle 10 g Express Edition, but it seems that this version is replaced with the Express 11g version.

    Is there any place I can download 10g Express Edition?

    I thank.

    I think that Oracle Corp. has removed 10g XE download because Oracle Corp. is more for 11g push now (10g XE has never officially taken charge but 10.1 and 10.2 edition Standard/Enterprise are already extended support mode: 10.2 will be in mode support in July 2013).

  • Oracle query of relay and access function call does not return the list

    Thanks to aid in a previous post, I received, I created an oracle 10 g feature that returns the list after you run the sql code it contains. It works in oracle, using sql developer.

    I need to have the list that he returned to see the place in MS Access via a relay request. It does not work so far. The string for connection etc is ok, I'm able to use passthrough queries to run sql strings correctly. But when I try to call the function through the request of relay and access initially nothing seems to happen (IE no list) and if I try to run again, there is an "ongoing call odbc error. Current operation cancelled "." There are only three records in the table. I'm missing something, someone can he spot?

    The application of relay and looks like this

    Select * from fn_testvalues of the double

    Once that is running in oracle.

    To create the test table and 2 functions below.

    CREATE TABLE t_values (MyValue varchar2 (10));

    Table created
    INSERT INTO t_values)
    SELECT 'Merced' c1 FROM dual UNION ALL
    SELECT "Pixie" dual UNION ALL
    SELECT "452" DOUBLE);

    3 lines inserted
    FUNCTION to CREATE or REPLACE RETURN NUMBER IS fn_isnum(p_val VARCHAR2)
    n_val NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    n_val: = to_number (p_val);
    RETURN 1;
    EXCEPTION
    WHILE OTHERS THEN
    RETURN 0;
    END;
    /

    Feature created

    table test:
    SELECT val, isnum fn_isnum (MyValue)
    OF t_values;

    VAL ISNUM
    ---------- ----------
    Merced 0
    Pixie 0
    1 452

    Now the function that is called in the application of relay:

    create or replace function fn_testvalues
    sys_refcursor is back
    RC sys_refcursor;
    Start
    Open rc for
    Select t_values.*, fn_isnum (MyValue) t_values IsNum;
    Return (RC);

    end fn_testvalues;

    Why not?

  • How to extend the range of my Airport Extreme Base Station (802. 11 a, c) using a relay of Airport Express (802.11n).  Airport Utility (V635.2) says that this version does not support the relay.  That is what it is?

    How can I extend the range of my Airport Extreme (802. 11 a, c) using an Airport Express (802.11n) point.  Airport (V635.2) utility does not recognize the Express on its screen?  I have to buy equipment?  I'm on a MacPro OS X 10.10.5.  Thank you.

    AirPort utility that ships with OS X 10.10.5 supports base stations as 802.11ac & 802.11n AirPort. It should be able to configure both of your base stations for a scope (wireless connected base stations) or roaming types (base station connected Ethernet) wireless networks.

    When you initially configure the Wan, it helps to keep the two base stations in the same room. Once configured, you can move the base station that extend to the desired location. The important key is that the final positioning of the station that extends the base must be understood that it's to expand in order to maintain sufficient bandwidth to the station remotely for clients from network connected. Please check the following airport user tip for more details.

  • Problem importing email files from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail. Not all the imported outlook express folders are visible

    I followed your instructions and now have "storage folders" visible. However that a single user account recorded message records showing if you keep double clicking and scrolling down. There are 3 other user accounts whose records are not visible. I tried as well by importing and using Windows Easy Transfer for all alphanumeric codes in Outlook Express. I signed into Live Mail using the other our of the user, but this does not solve the problem... Please tell us how to transfer files from my old computer Windows XP to the new W7 mail.

    Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

    For Messages:

    Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

    V-2009: open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    V-2011: Menu button. Import Messages. Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    Location of OE message store:

    In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

    In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

    For addresses:

    Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

    For WLMail 2009: Open list of Contacts in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

    For WLMail 2011: Switch to the contacts window (click on the book icon to the address at the foot of the folders pane, or press Ctrl-3). Click on the import button, select address book (wab) Windows and point on where it was saved.

    Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

    For the account settings:

    In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new computer and WLMail desktop: tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.

  • Oracle AIA CBIA PIP: Why account level settings are not supported?

    Gurus of HI AIA Comms

    We have a requirement where the customer wants to use the BRM account level setting.
    We observed that the account level setting is not supported in Oracle AIA CBIA PIP.

    Can someone tell me why the account level adjustment is not supported?

    Also, give suggestions on the way to meet the requirement of the customer.

    Concerning
    Arun

    Hi Arun,

    Yes you are right, you should use the PCM_OP_AR_ACCOUNT_ADJUSTMENT opcode. In Siebel side LOV value must be set ' account' except that we have added additional attributes to our requirement.

    Changes required mainly to the process of 'CreateAccountBalanceAdjustmentPortalCommsProveABCSImpl '. New transformation must be created to convert EBM ABM PCM_OP_AR_ACCOUNT_ADJUSTMENT and then call PCM_OP_AR_ACCOUNT_ADJUSTMENT opcode.

    All the oracle 10g is under extended support, version 10g XE was torn off in the download pages at any time 10g has been extended.

    Will probably not be able to get a download of any place under oracle.com, but it could be a few sites still harboring. Try google.

  • Stage custom expression edition open when it is placed in the order

    TestStand 3.5 is possible to create a custom step (for a copy of the label step type) type that automatically opens the "edit label step...." GUI when it is placed in a sequence?

    Thank you
    Jason

    All-

    Why not just build on the capabilities of the lower level OnNewStep?

    Create your new kind of step (a copy of your existing Label step).  Note that there already like his step a step Edit - it's what is called when you start the dialog box change the step label.

    Now, create a new Custom step and name it (this is mandatory) OnNewStep.  Specify the Module and imitate the lower level change exactly.

    Now, whenever you create a new instance of the step of this type, the lower level OnNewStep will be called.  And you do not have to change the CommonSubsteps.dll.

    A cool thing - this is how we do things as programmatically create end steps for many stages of flow control...
