ORA - 06143:connection not open
Hi allI have the laptop that has the windows operating system 7. and I installed 1.6 sqltools while I'm trying to connect to my database server (oracle 10 g, os: windows2003 server), get these error in sqltools
ORA - 06413:connection will not open. someone kindly help me how to solve this problem
Thank you
As I said previously that it has nothing to do with the forms. I have no idea what sqltools is, because it is not part of the installation of server developer suite or application. It is certainly the wrong place to ask. Maybe a google search sheds some light on your problem.
see you soon

ORA-28575: could not open the RPC connection to external procedure
Hello
I get the following error:
ORA-28575: could not open the RPC connection to external procedure
ORA-06512: at "SDE". ST_GEOMETRY_SHAPELIB_PKG', line 1325
ORA-06512: at "SDE". ST_GEOM_UTIL', line823
my environment:
ORACLE 11 g 2 (11.2.0.3)
IBM AIX 6.1
ESRI software: ArcSDE 10.1 SP1
Since I'm on oracle 11g release 2, I used the method of the external procedure:
under $ORACLE_HOME/hs/admin
in the "extproc.ora" file, I added the line
SET EXTPROC_DLL = ANY
and still the same problem.
so I made the (listener and tnsnames configuration method) where that might solve the problem. However, it does not help...
I also applied the oracle metalink 1256784.1 ID DOC
but without success and I'm still getting this error (ORA-28575).
After extensive troubleshooting, I discovered that this will happen in one of two situations:
1. the external procedure library .so is corrupted.
OR
2. the external procedure library .so is a 32-bit... .to check that the Unix ( file lib.so), the exit command should give you 64-bit

ORA-28575: could not open the RPC connection to the external procedure agent
Hello world
Could you please help me with this problem? I am trying to configure Oracle XE 11 g for external procedures, this because I need to access certain procedures in a DLL in Delphi 6.0, but even with the simplest of the dll that I do, as a sum in C, I can't pass this ORA-28575 error: could not open the RPC connection to the external procedure agent.
It's my listener.ora:

Do you know what could be the problem? I'm out of ideas and google search...
Also, is there a difference in a call to a DLL in VB and one made in Delphi?

Hi all
Tried something out of the blue, that has worked.
I added the data_loading_user of the user to the group administrator (Group of BONES that created the wallet).
The I added the read permission to the group, so the permission on the files below were 640:

seems that something went wrong during installation when your spfile does not exist or is not readable or corrupted somehow.
You should check your Setup for error logs, starting with cloneDBCreation.log in C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\config\log on your machine. This is where the creation of the spfile might be connected.-Udo

ORA-16143: connections of RFS not allowed during or after a Terminal recovery
Hi all
I wanted to transfer primary DB archiving log of STANDBY DB by the window / given destnination
After you have created the database physically Eve, I put database waiting for recovery by using the command:-change the recovery of database managed standby database disconnect from the session.
After that when I ran this command: -.
ALTER database recover managed standby database finish;
After that when I tried to recover database to help given comand awaiting:-recover managed standby database.
Get the error such as ORA-16143: RFS connections that are not allowed during or after a Terminal recovery
I can see this error on primary DB filev alerts log
I can open my database in waiting.
The two Oracle: 10.2.0.4
The two platform: RHEL 4.7
Please suggest me for this, help is appreciated
Published by: user1687821 on July 12, 2010 08:37user1687821,
After the use of the clause to FINISH, you MUST open the standby database as PRIMARY.
Finishing clause must be used while you're perparing to failover to your database pending.
Which is clearly given by the error message; you did a cover of Terminal:
ORA-16143: RFS connections not allowed during or after terminal recovery
unless you have a pending restore point until you execute the clause of finishing, you will need rebuild your watch or use it as the primary database.
See you soon.
