Oracle db host1 and host2 restore failed

Hello

Oracle DB 11 g 2/Centos 6.5 x 64/AANP 7.6

I test the restoration of the BNU 1 host to another host. Although this configuration will as well as the configuration of NBU, I think that this question of my Oracle RMAN.

Configure a database even with the same instance name (the two default installation), the settings for the restoration. Then restore with RMAN.

RMAN > run {allocate channel ch00 type 'sbt_tape';

2 > Send "NB_ORA_CLIENT is host1.lab.tec";.

3 > restore database;

4 > restore database;

5 > output channel ch00;

{6 >}

I have a problem when restoring. After the recovery is complete, I can run and start db OK.

SQL > alter database open resetlogs;

Database altered.

But this is a small test db, I'm worried if I do it in a real environment. Wihout solve this problem, I would like to get troulbe. Hope someone can help with this.

If you have not specified a DEFINED point UNTIL Oracle might attempt a COMPLETE recovery.  It is possible that at the time of the backup, suite #11 remained a newspaper online redo and not yet archived on.  If so, you would SET UNTIL SEQUENCE 11 while Oracle would cease after having applied the #10 sequence

  • Win 7 backup and the restore failed

    I did the backup Windows for a few years to a 1 TB USB external drive. I make these for family machines. I recently added a new machine for my wife and ran out of space. I took a recycled 3 TB USB, formatted and tried to start the backup and restore. When the backup and restoration Committee came, he had all the options... I could give anything. Finally, I did something that I got an error code which lead me to discover the backup and Restore Service has been disabled. That helped, but was not able to change the disc. I downloaded a file to update the registry here and reset the backup and restore settings. Installation went through and singled out the refocused 3 TB USB drive. Has launched the backup. It ran for a few minutes and then failed with the message "the last backup was not completely successful" [not helpful] so I clicked on "More information" to find "one of the backup files could not be created. Details: The can not be performed because of an i/o device error. [not very useful.] I looked at the logs and see no error even vaguely related to this.

    No error code. No indication of what device or file. No log entry. Everything works well otherwise. Because I'm running on a single system SSD disk I am very nervous about not having a system image.  Direction/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am somewhat a novice.

    It seems that the problem was a kind of incompatibility of Windows with the Western Digital MyBook 3TO by car.  I did CHKDSK on drives and everything was perfect, but I've always had a "IO error" totally useless is not heading the aircraft in question or explain what type of error has been encountered to the Win 7 backup process. It would have been much easier to diagnose if the WD drive had been shouted.  Also, I have no idea why the Backup and Restore Service got disabled.

    The solution (perhaps not the only) other than its use yet another USB key was to reformat the drive using a recent quick format WD utility (format Win 7 did not help) and only for the update of security for a newer driver.  Then by making a System Image backup, allowing me to point to the drive. Make a backup and a restore, then make a configuration pointing the disk.  A backup then worked.

  • Backup Windows and Protection/restoration of the point system failed to create (Vista32 Ultimate).

    I noticed this problem a few days ago.  I don't know what could have caused the system to change behavior. The last good backup comes from 26/12/2010.  Protection system reports find no restore point on the disk (System), used for the creation of these previoiusly.

    After reviewing some of the other threads on this site describing similar problems, I tried some of their recommendations without success (e.g. restoration rotating on and outside, software disabling AV and security, clean the system with Malwarebytes [he found something called "Closetmaid" and deleted] and Prevx, run CheckDSK, run the System File Checker [which is not able to fix the Desktop.ini but nothing else I've seen]) , and, of course, punctuated by reboots.

    The behavior of the System Protection tool is it hangs at the opening for about 2 hours. or while displaying the message "searching for restore points.  Once completed, it lists the system drive and the external backup drive and no restore point (they were taken on the system drive).  The system drive is checked.  Select "Create" translates into another hit hour 2 or more, followed by nothing, either the error 81000101 - timeout.  Unchecking the system drive and clicking 'Apply' committed another shot of 2-3 hours, which finally ends.  However, the complete tool never leave once you click on 'OK '.

    Backups performed for 20 initial minutes indicating approximately 20% of step and then simply stroll.  Each progresses of appearance (after some previous attempt of sanitation) running at exactly the same progression bar position before the hanging.  After a few hours, the backup process error 8004230F.  All the normal things have been verified.  The backup volume has enough free space (and was CheckDSK'ed, as well as the volume of the system being backed up properly), volume shadow copy service is started and running and its dependent services, RPC and DCOM are launched and running.

    I noticed another suggests to fix vssui.dll in another thread (http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistainstall/thread/9a7621ba-4cef-4264-a90c-87209e7e7d60) that I have not been able to apply and which is the re-registration of a series of dll, among them. I have no copy of vssui.dll on my system to record. It is listed under a Vista32 thread so I guess I should have it.

    Other problems reported in the execution of the dll Re-recordings suggest the thread above were:

    (1) "ole32.dll module was loaded but the call to DLLREgisterServer failed with error code 80070005.

    (2) ' module loaded but the call to DllInstall eventcls.dll failed with error code 8000FFFF.

    (3) "es.dll loaded module, but the entry point DllRegisterServer was not found."

    (4) 'module vssui.dll failed to load."  Please make sure that...

    The other steps were successful.

    I had this problem also (Win 7 Pro) on the new installation.  As others have said that it is through the VSS (Volume Shadow Service) feature be corrupted.

    In my case, it was because of software that included drivers for my motherboard.  There is a backup/restore utility which took control of the "false" Windows Restore and VSS feature & backup of MS of the system.

    Go to the system event log and sort through VSS.  Then search for errors on the VSS or the backup.  Is particularly important to look at the "Information" events that led to the error.  They are more revealing than the error itself real.  The error is misleading for me.  In any case, look in the Inbox details information for the process that was involved.  My bet is that you need a 3rd part/application that needs to be removed.

    I have fought with this problem for weeks and stumbled on the errant software.  I did not intentionally install it.  So look for software that could have been bundled with other applications or drivers.

    Good luck

  • How can I download the backup on Mac and then restore it via iTunes?

    The STRP to restore stuck on "remaining time: estimation...» "So I would like to download the backup on my Mac and then restore it via iTunes.

    This can be caused by a corrupt existing backup that should be deleted, or data on the device that causes the backup fails.  To resolve these issues, try to clear your last backup (if you a) by disabling the iCloud backup in settings > iCloud > storage and backup, and then press on managing storage, type on your device under the backups, and then click Delete backup.  Then go back and turn iCloud backup and try to save again.

    If it don't always make a backup, you may have an app or something in your camera roll which causes the backup fails.  To find one, go to settings > iCloud > storage and backup > manage storage, tap the name of your device under backups under tap Backup Options show all Apps, turn them all off (including film) and then try to save again.  If the backup was successful, then the camera or one of your applications is originally the backup fails and you must located by the process of elimination. Turn on the film and retry backup.  If it succeeds, some of your applications to turn on and try saving again.  If it succeeds once again, turn it back on a few apps more then try; Repeat this process until it fails.  Finally, you will be able to locate the app problem and exclude from your backup.

  • Vista Start black normal & all Security Modes, restore fails, screensaver ŒUVRES

    Yesterday (18/06/09) I installed a few new updates, but is not a restart.  Today, the system was sitting idle (, but nobody use it) and we had a power failure.  Restart the system wanted to make a volume control.  During the audit, he found a bunch of bad index entries.  The files went flying by pretty fast, but I could tell that many of them had something to do with Media Center.  Then later in the repair of the volume, she added a bunch of orphaned files.  I couldn't give a sense these files because all the entries were similar to Hex IDs.

    So that brings us to today.  The system starts with black screen with a mouse pointer.  System knows I have 2 monitors connected & I can move the mouse between the two monitors.  With the help of other boots (via F8 in the boot menu) produced similar results, except in safe mode boots, the system does not know the 2nd monitor.  CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing.  (Do NOT bring up the Task Manager.)  The SHIFT key to display the Sticky Keys dialog box.  After a while, the screen saver turns on.  With screensaver KB/mouse activity outputs and system back to black screen.

    All the security startup black screen Modes.
    Low-resolution video starts with black screen.
    Black screen on startup of the diagnostic Mode.
    Directory Services Restore Mode reports all my disks are clean and black screen on startup.
    Sleep key works.  Wake up, the system returns to black screen.

    OK, here's a little recap... BLACK SCREEN!

    So next I tried the repair your computer...

    Log in to my account admin OK.  Then I tried to Startup Repair which could not detect a problem.  Then I tried the system restore.  System Restore is all my restore points registered in April ' 09.  System Restore Gets an error and fails to load any restore point.  I have two different messages depending on what point of restoration, I try.

    2 most recent restore points are of yesterday and today and the updates, I just installed but never rebooted before the power failure disk check.  When I try these 2 restore points, I get the following:

    The configuration register is corrupted. (0x800703F1)

    If I try the old restore points, I get:

    Cannot open the file transactionally, because its identity is function
    on the outcome of a transaction not resolved.  (0x80071AA7)

    Reading through the error of this last web messages makes me think to there is a bad dependency in the update / restore of the system process.  If pending updates become corrupt, old restore points will fail.  Is this true?

    I can boot from a CD-ROM of 3rd party and see my programs and data on the disk.  I did a full inspection, but it seems that all of my stuff is still there.

    So finally I tried to reinstall my Vista system, and my only option is to replace my entire system.  The update option is grayed out.  I used to be able to do a re-install/upgrade to update in the old days (XT & before), but it seems that it's not possible with Vista.  It would be great if I had my old system before SP1, and then I could re - install SP1 & all of my updates.  But it would be impossible for me to recreate my 1 TB from scratch system.  Simply, I have enough DVDS to back up a lot of data.

    Is there a solution to my boot at the digital black problem, or I'm really screwed?  A reasonable solution is much appreciated.

    ==============

    UPDATE...

    I can access shared folders on the blackened on Vista machine.  I created my user account on another computer (Win XP) and am also able to access all my user files.  In addition to the screen saver and the sticky keys work, it seems that file sharing works also.  However, the printer share and office remotely (using Ultra VNC) do not work.

    Hey Ken, I just reread your post previous and tried your procedure.  Are your steps to perform a repair install on Windows site:

    1. Insert the Windows installation disc in your computer's DVD or CD drive. You must start Windows installation while running your existing version of Windows.

    2. on the Install Windows page, click install now .

    3. on the get updates for installation page, we recommend getting the latest updates to help ensure a successful installation and to help protect your computer against security threats. You will need an Internet connection to get the installation updates.

    4. on the Type your product key for activation , we strongly recommend that you type your 25-character product key in order to avoid problems during activation.

    5. on the page Please read the terms of the license , if you accept the license terms, click I accept the terms of the license .

    6. to the which type of installation you want? page, click upgrade to begin the upgrade. You can see a compatibility report.

    7 follow the instructions.

    Note : If your installation disc doesn't include SP1 , and you are updated, then you must uninstall it before proceeding with an update install. Start-> Control Panel-> programs-> see installed updates , then select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows and click on Uninstall.

    Unfortunately, I'm stuck on the first step.  Start a Windows installation when executing my existing version of Windows when my existing version of Windows starts with a black screen, and the only interaction of console, I am able to do what a screen saver and the Sticky Keys dialog box?  What is the trick to start installation?  I can't find.  Is there a way to launch the installation with the keys dialog box to sticky?

    In addition, in the case where I, how to uninstall SP1 from a black screen?  The dialog box of the sticky keys which they as well?

    I know that other messages that other users could not bring up the Task Manager with CTRL-ALT-DELETE.  As I said in my original post, I can't do it.  THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS FOR ME IS THE STICKY KEYS DIALOG BOX.  So I do not buy any version of Vista at all costs will have what I need because Windows Vista just can't do a re - installed on-site if your Windows Vista is not running after a black screen.  Right?

    I'm getting very frustrated and would be very grateful for any help.  I just can't figure how to get the computer do anything when the only thing it starts is a black screen.  And none of my restore points can be restored.  I thought that the system restore has been the goal of the restoration of the system.  Why my Vista system locks my system restore? I don't understand!

    I think that this last update not to not fill properly and locked up my system.  Is it possible for me to undo than a black screen or a Setup disk?

    BTW, Western Digital diagnostics transmitted without error.  Then at the command prompt on my Vista disk, I ran chkdsk and it fixed some files.  I think they were just left by a system restore failed.  So I ran sfc from the command prompt using sfc/scannow damaged = c: \ /offwindir = c:\windows.  He ran for a while and there was no violation of integrity.  If the drive seems fine.  Are there tools that can help me find the problem?  Is that what I can do to restore the registry to an earlier time manually?

  • I get this KB2481109 update and it still fails to update it's a virus

    I get this KB2481109 update and it still fails to update it is a virus and how iI to get rid of this?

    Hi Judy,.

    1. do you get an error code?

    2. who is the antivirus installed on the computer program?

    Since this is a security update, there is a chance of infection from malicious software on the computer. We will analyze and identify the cause of the problem.

    Method 1:

    You can reset Windows Update components and check.

    Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Restore failed - error code = 0 x 241

    I'm trying to fix Acer Aspire 5552-7803 friend and ended up having to order a set of recovery disc for $20. The problem is that when I try to launch the restore of the default factory, he charges through the first two recovery disks, then on the third, I get an error message that says "restore failed - error code = 0 x 241 (WIMApplyImage impossible to apply the image: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file.). A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that could be... "The rest is obscured by the box and you can't scroll to read.

    I've read several posts that say they had the same problem, but have yet to find a real solution. I completely cleaned the disk and did a 'Clean' on diskpart with a Win7 repair disc. It is possible that the disc is damaged, but with the accounts that I have seen, I would not buy a new drive and then find out that the drive wasn't really the problem.

    I could really use some suggestions. Help, please.

    Thank you

    I think I finally found the problem. I tried to install an evaluation version of Windows 8 and got a slightly different, but the similar error message and google it. The first instance of the problem that I found was a solution, saying that the guy has discovered that he had a bad memory stick. I removed one and retried the recovery disks and it always failed. I swapped the memory stick and tried again, and now I'm almost finished with the full reload. I think that was the problem and I'm hopeful that we're back in business... Now to make shopping for memory.

    ·         Your data is also missing?

    ·         Do you have any other user accounts on the system?
