  It is said in the Net Services Administrator's Guide:
  

  To start Oracle Net Manager from the Oracle Enterprise Manager console, select
  Service Management from the Tools menu, and then select Oracle Net Manager.

  Nowhere I see a 'Tools' menu, or an option 'Service Management' in EM.
  
  Question: Y at - it a 'Tools' menu that I missed? If Yes, where? If there is no menu 'Tools', is it possible to start Oracle Net Manager of EM, as shown in the Net Services Administrator's Guide?

  As far as I KNOW, "Oracle Enterprise Manager console" refers to the java console for OEM 9i. A Tools menu there. Are you sure you read your documents version db?

• Oracle Configuration Manager server is not available (500)

  I have a few goals as the configuration of the report for My Oracle Support, using the Oracle Configuration Manager.  Everything was fine until last week when I noticed that the last Date of collection was not changing.  When I try to manually collect, I get the following error:

  It turns out that this is planned, as Oracle launches a database upgrade.  This notice was posted on MOS:

  Configuration in read-only Mode data

  We are making improvements to the database that contains the configuration data for My Oracle Support. During this upgrade, the client Configuration Repository (CCR) is currently in read-only mode. You can view the configuration data, but will not be able to download new configurations or change the attributes related to the configuration of the systems. The CCR will be in read-only mode until the termination of the stoppage of My Oracle Support planned this weekend.

  While CCR is in read-only mode, you will see an error message:

  • In the corresponding log file during an attempt automatic download a new configuration or for offline Collector users who download their configuration as an attachment the Service request.
  • On My Oracle Support pages that access configuration data
    • Mainly under the systems tab
    • Sometimes in the Patch and sanitation recommendations

  When the CCR returns to the update mode after the failure, your last successful download will remain in place as the benchmark to determine the differences with the current configuration. The next collection that you send will update your configuration and would then become the configuration used for comparisons.

  Please apply for a non-technical Service or to contact the Oracle Support if you need help or have additional questions.

  I'm new to "Oracle Identity Manager" and need some data model information. IOM will be our source to generate a report on Oracle BI publisher. I'm trying to understand the tables involved in the IOM and its level (i.e. column information What data it stored), relationship between the tables.

• Oracle reports 6i

  In my report, I have an image that is in the margin, not in the body and is not an extensible framework. The frame contains two elements one is of type image.
  The main query of the report is to get the image. But the problem is that it places the first record in any pages that the image is not repeated. I want to display the logo of recoveries in the non repetitive element of the image of the frame. Can someone tell me how I can handle? It would be easier for me if this can be managed by using the trigger report. I've written one before release of the report, but it gives me the error of frequency. I'm not very good on the balance sheet part... so if anyone can offer any way, it would be useful.

  You use images repeated in the margin section, each section margin appear the same, section of margin does not work as the body section.

  You must transfer the images from the margin and put them in the section of body in the extensible framework.

  Like you need to print images on each page you need to use anchors as I described above.

• Oracle Identity Manager IOM deploy in a WebLogic domain

  I'm deploying 9.1.0.1 IOM in a WebLogic 10.3.2.0 field. The goal is to have the IOM and ORM (Oracle role manager) 10g (10.1.4.2) working on the same Win 2003 VMWare virtual server where the ORM that is already running on WebLogic.
  
  I installed the XellerateFull.ear from the directory OIM_HOME/xellerate and have an Active status, but a warning about health.
  I try to install a deployment with the xlWebApp.war file that is in the directory OIM_HOME/xellerate/webapp , but it does not work. When I try to start the "maintenance of applications" + can only get a failure State.
  
  The IOM site tries to display the login page, but shows a system error.

  To clear up some confusion, please note the following:

  (A) OAS 10.1.2 is a full OAS (oracle application server).
  An OAS generally offers an infrastructure and a high. Infra has mainly two parts;
  -Identity Management (including the OID, oracle internet directory, SSO, Services of Administration OID-Delegated oiddas, CA OCA)
  -Metadata Repository (which contains the metadata for product).

  10g, Midtier can have three types:
  one) OC4J & webcache, gate b) and wireless and c) Business Intelligence Forms & Reports

  OAS 10g is a system of different server than what you were used to have in 9i-FAMILY.

  (B) 9.0.4 and 10.1.2 were full releases of the OAS. Considering that the 10.1.3 OAS and OAS - 10.1.4 were not software full OAS. All the latter were family of 10g.

  (C) to OAS 10.1.4, there was only the management of identities and no metadata repository. It's just a version of IdM and not an OAS full.

  (D) in 10 g and 11 g families, OID is a part of the management of identities, as well as the SSO, OCA, OIDDAS, etc.

  (E) g 11 is still a version of the complete application server software and maintains the OID and SSO in the same software IdM.

  I hope that can help unravel some confusion of all these versions and versions that you listed in your question.
