• Trying to update project to demand end - need help newbie!

  Guys, I'm new to the Oracle projects, I've never used before.  I just learned a few things in the interface user and read the docs documenting procs stored.  My question is simple (hopefully) in the UI I chose a responsibility, and then under "project:" I choose "Research projects", I enter the project ID in the field and click on OK, I am able to see all the details of the project and tasks.  No problem!  Is what I want to do using the Update_Project API to change the "on-demand end Date" of the project.

  I have the following information that I managed to scratch to the top:

  Project, Responsibility_id, User_id, Resp_Appl_Id

  I got the project id by using:

  Select project name of pa_projects_all

  WHERE name = 'My Project';

  So first what I call set_global_info with the appropriate parameters, and then:

  What I get is the message ' error: project ID is not valid "and the status is 'E '.

  I don't know why it is not valid because it is the exact project from the projects table ID.  The only thing I can think is that the p_pm_product_code is set to null, but I'm not sure where this value comes from and why it is still important.  I checked the documents and it is said that it refers to an external system.  Why is the code of important external system if I change the data within Oracle projects?

  It seems that you do not specify initialization values correctly. Oracle project API are specific Org and require a correct initialization before being called so they can work.

  Few things I've noticed since the code is:

  1. the following text is used to define the user ID and the ID of responsibility:

  p_responsibility_id-online fnd_profile.value('57203'),

  p_user_id-online fnd_profile.value('1013415'),

  I think that the appeal should be like that. This should be used if you want to call the API through a simultaneous request for Quote window (Oracle Apps environment) program. fnd_profile. Value will get the id of the responsibility and the opportunity id of the user who runs the program and assign to variables.

  p_responsibility_id-online fnd_profile.value ('RESP_ID'),

  p_user_id-online fnd_profile.value ('USER_ID'),

  Or if you skip the hard-coded ID, this can be used if you are running the script of an environment Non-Oracle Applications, for example from SQL * more.

  2. I noticed that you do not P_OPERATING_UNIT_ID parameter in the call to pa_interface_utils_pub.set_global_info. That's fine if you don't use MAC and that you have defined MO: profile of the operational unit of the delegated responsibility.  If you use MAC or are unsure, it is always advisable to explicitly pass the P_OPERATING_UNIT_ID parameter in the call to pa_interface_utils_pub.set_global_info.

  Note: DO NOT use fnd_profile.value('ORG_ID') to set the P_OPERATING_UNIT_ID parameter. In a MAC environment, this may not work.

  3. always make sure that you check the return status of the pa_interface_utils_pub.set_global_info of success before calling the API of project. This will save you a lot of frustration during the test.

  There are indeed predefined users that will be created if you select the option to create. Other that those users who are optional, there are 2 users will be created with the installation of the database, Sys and System. Try to connect as follows,

  • As all our previous implementation are on 11.1.2.3 500 and we know with certainty, it is stable
  • 11.1.2.4 is fairly new in the market

  I don't think that 11.1.2.3.500 for planning is massively different the 11.1.2.4 so for stability, they should be similar, the improvements are mainly around the simplified interface.

  I would recommend going with 11.1.2.4, he is already on his third patch for the planning so I hope that all important questions will have been met, if there is a concern, then perhaps you should look at POC.

  Rnk1: partition by group name, order of eff_date / / desc: this grade will sort the records of the most recent and handed to zero for each group\

  Rnk2: (dense) partition by group name, flag_A, flagb: this grade for each combination of group\flag gives a number so that they are classified as "families".

  Then I use the function analytic min

  Min (eff_date) more (partition of GroupName, rnk2): the idea is that, for each Member of the same family, the new date is the min of the family (and the max for the date of the term), at the end I just need separate so that the duplicates are gone

  Now the problem. As you can see from the query below, records of 1 and 6 (as identified by rownum) are identified in the same family, because they have the same combination of flag, but they are not successive, so everyone must keep its own date of entry into force.

  It helps if you post a copy and paste of effective enforcement of the full code, including the results.  You posted an index of context with the query with catsearch, which requires a ctxcat index.  You must be a context clue that you did not post and did not add your lexer to.  The following table shows it returns all the lines of 3 as planned using either a with catsearch ctxcat index or a context index with contains, as long that you include the lexer in your create index.  You must also be sure that the index is created, or synchronized after inserting or updating data.

  most of your mouse passage is remove a child, and most of the corresponding mouseout/mouseouthandler() is adding a child.  and that is probably the reverse of what you want and will cause an error, even if that's what you want.

  I searched some tutorials of AIA, but nothing in google or oracle site. I am very confused, there are so many assumptions to work on this, and I have to configure my JDeveloper to work with AIAFP11g.
  
  I need help on AIA where is on point and hot to do the integration with SAP and Siebel, and JD Edwards.

  I'm ODI 10.1.3.5 & I applied a patch "10257622: ORACLE DATA INTEGRATOR 10.1.3.6.5 CUMULATIVE PATCH" upgrade to 10.1.3.6.
  
  I followed all the steps in the read me to apply the patches & now in help > topic ODI, I see as 10.1.3.6.5 instead of 10.1.3.5.
  
  All the steps that have been included in read me it that I applied with the exception of:
  
  Step 7. Copy the XML files generated by the RCC utility to your new folder ODI oracledi/lib/scripts/patches
  
  I don't know what is utility RCC. Any body know what xml files need to be copied?
  
  Step 11. Import the technology news and updates
  
  How can this be to accomplish. Read tells me that you can import it by using the synonym template insertion-implementation to date. Don't know what it is?
  
  Step 12: Import Modules of knowledge news and updates.
  
  How can this be to accomplish. According to read me looks that the correction process would have updatewd knowledge so for the new integration modules should use & let the old man without integtrating?

  In the Oracle 120okeug & 120okeig documents, it is written that the characteristics of the Oracle project contract are:

  • Contract administration focused on the workflow, including the control of the State, hold and change management.
  • Global contract Finance.
  • Monitoring of deliverables, integrated with ERP functions such as planning, production and purchasing.
  • Recognition of the costs, billing and contract income.
  • Role-based access security.
  • Contract flowdown.
  
  But in these documents, it is not given details on the above points.

  The project contract is the agreement between you and your customers. When you enter a new contract, you need to connect to an existing project, you have whole eralier upward in Oracle projects. You would see on the homepage of the contract header. Note, the system allows you to enter several different contracts for the same project. So, it is nto always a relationship between a contract and a project.

  The region on the left allow you to search contracts that you already entered in the system. You can consult the contracts of groups, organization, product and program. The system adds a new contract at the appropriate grouping based on the program, have the Organization and the program that you have assigned to the contract, on the homepage of the contract header. Groups are defined in a separate form, where you can assign individual contracts to groups based on your logic trade won. Personal shortcuts allow the user to enter their own search criteria and save it, so in the futute, find contracts that respond to this logic.

  Point master Org is the name of an organization of inventory, which is considered to be the master of your company. The main organization is the Organization of the inventory where you can configure and enter their attributes, which will be shared by other organizations of the inventory in the society. In this organization, you can configure the list of purchable items, items that can be inventorized or items that you build in your business. Later when you go and author of contract lines, you can enter the item that should be delivered to the customer or purchased from a vendor.

  Hello

  Are you this message when you click the Test button, if so, then this is normal because you can use the Test button for components that use JDBC and the essbase adapter does not work.
