Oracle project contracts

I want to know about Oracle project contracts - which in fact does.
In the Oracle 120okeug & 120okeig documents, it is written that the characteristics of the Oracle project contract are:

• Creation of all types of contract documents.
• Contract administration focused on the workflow, including the control of the State, hold and change management.
• Global contract Finance.
• Monitoring of deliverables, integrated with ERP functions such as planning, production and purchasing.
• Recognition of the costs, billing and contract income.
• Role-based access security.
• Contract flowdown.

But in these documents, it is not given details on the above points.
Also, I would like to know if we can scan and attach all related documents projects in Oracle project contracts for each project as a system of electronic document management.

The project contract is the agreement between you and your customers. When you enter a new contract, you need to connect to an existing project, you have whole eralier upward in Oracle projects. You would see on the homepage of the contract header. Note, the system allows you to enter several different contracts for the same project. So, it is nto always a relationship between a contract and a project.

The region on the left allow you to search contracts that you already entered in the system. You can consult the contracts of groups, organization, product and program. The system adds a new contract at the appropriate grouping based on the program, have the Organization and the program that you have assigned to the contract, on the homepage of the contract header. Groups are defined in a separate form, where you can assign individual contracts to groups based on your logic trade won. Personal shortcuts allow the user to enter their own search criteria and save it, so in the futute, find contracts that respond to this logic.

Point master Org is the name of an organization of inventory, which is considered to be the master of your company. The main organization is the Organization of the inventory where you can configure and enter their attributes, which will be shared by other organizations of the inventory in the society. In this organization, you can configure the list of purchable items, items that can be inventorized or items that you build in your business. Later when you go and author of contract lines, you can enter the item that should be delivered to the customer or purchased from a vendor.

Oracle project contracts, you can bind the attachments to a contract. You can configure different types of attachments. Each pdf file that has been analyzed can be loaded as an attachment. You can assign the name of the document and its category.

    Although I found a few articles suggesting to use 'OKE_IMPORT_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header', but then I don't get the 2nd use of API. In addition, the second API has 2 types of recordings.

    2nd IPY cover more fields than the first?

    OKE_IMPORT_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header calls OKE_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header internally to create contracts. You can use OKE_CONTRACT_PUB.create_contract_header to avoid calls. However, if you want to use the API data validation, you can use import API. There is a parameter that is set by default n and validate the import data (i.e. p_ignore_oke_validation).

  • Flow of project contracts

    What is flow of standard processes for the use of project contracts.
    If the project must be created first and then the contract must be created. If the contract is awarded not why I need to create a project for it.
    We're not be tracking the economic cost.
    So if I create a contract type of proposal can type can be changed in Gets a contract once it is awarded and then we can update the project number? or I need to create a new contract with assigned type?

    How different contract agreement
    The agreement represent the commercial contract between the customer and the company. How it is different from the contract.

    1 al ' OKE, you cannot change the type of proposal for a contract type. You will need to create a new document for the contract awarded by the proposal of adaptation document data.

    2. If the contract is you for T & M work, and there is an amount agreed with the customer, then your contract OKE will have only one line. However, for T & M contract, if the customer has defined separate amounts for the tasks from top of the project page, or if the customer have limited amount of funding for each year, so you can use several contract lines, one line per each top spot or a line by each year. Another example might be a T & M with separate contract amounted to paid as fees of constants. The Fund for the actual work will be on a single line, and the amount of the charge will be on a separate line, which would be charged at the events. If you have a fixed price contract that the contract lines might be milestones, you need to complete on certain dates. You will be entitled to generate the invoice at the end of each stage (contract line).

    3. If you implement OKE approval and funding to the PJB are generated automatically from OKE. Entities are available at the PJB, you can see them, but you will not be able to update those side PJB.

    Company want to use oracle standard workflow that sends the draft to the immediate supervisor of the owner for approval. »

    (1) what are the requirements for this type of requirement?

    (2) what is the workflow that is triggered when the project is created and how to get approval for the project?

    (3) what is the exact workflow which approves this project?

    We have company (legal entity A, A working unit) where we have created Project X who is a draft contract. We collect AP costs against project X in society.

    But we must also use the employees of company B (B to B unit operating legal entity), so we need to be able to invoice Project X in business, B.

    Can I use transverse load for a proposed CONTRACT or cross support can be used only when the project is INDIRECT?

    You can use free cross with contract and indirect projects. You CAN'T use it with capital projects.

  • Oracle projects, integration POand INV? need help

    Dear all gurus, project

    We all Oracle, inventory, purchase orders and modules of calculation of the costs of the project being implemented.

    The issue is

    We want to place a Standard purchase order with details of the job/project for the
    inventorisable/storable points. So that canbe inventoirsed i.e received/inspected/pronounced elements.

    The system allows to make.

    So I would like to know,

    Whence it gets validated that only the destination type in IN. is as an expense, the Details tab of project and tasks is enabled.

    You can create requisitions and purchase order with distributions of project only if the destination type is cool.
    With this type of destination, you can order services and goods, where the goods could be any type of question.
    With costs of destination type, you can receive the item to the receive location, send for inspection and then deliver it to the applicant. You can't put it back to a subinventory in an organization of inventory.

    If you enable making for any organization of the inventory project, you could cretae requisitions and purchase orders with distributions of project using the destination type inventory. In this case, the project must be pre assigned to the Organization of the PJM. Then, you can receive items in the Organization of the inventory and keep them in storage for how long you need. The items are kept in the inventory within project Locator.

    I have an Apps11i 11.5.10.2 instance in OEL 5 x 86 with 10 g R2 database.
    Projects M cumulative 4 family is installed
    I'm not able to find a corporate responsibility where the create problem is enabled. I have only displayed as a publ Go button.

    It is with regard to integration OTL
    Card is entered in the OTL, interfaced to the projects
    Now in the projects so I make settings on the score card after its become an item, this change will be reflected to OTL?
    What happens to the approved score card, it is re-opened and must be re-approved?

    Once the time card if imported successfully to PA, any changes made to the expenditure_item_id/Trans Id won't reflect of OTL.

    OTL card also requires re-approval if changes made to the time card in OTL resp.

  • How to stop a workflow

    I initiated a request to purchase Oracle project contracts SDR form.
    This process initiated a workflow "OKEDTS."
    However, the workflow could not complete due to some functional problems.
