  • "Cascading" business rules composite form of Tabs

    Long post. I'm here for the ACEs in the stem. In 11.1.2.2.300, we have a composite form with multiple shapes in the form of tabs. Two of these forms have business rules that run on individual forms, not on the Composite shape. Three of these forms have no business rules that run when recording. The following behavior is:

    1. when we open the composite shape to a tab of a form without top business rules and click on save, the data is committed.

    2. when we opened the composite shape to a tab of a form that has a business rule that works on record and click on save, the data are engaged and the business rule is executed.

    3. the problem is there: when we open the composite shape to a tab of a form that has a company that rule runs on save and then we open a DIFFERENT tab with a DIFFERENT shape which has NO business rule to this subject, and click on save the data on the open tab/form is committed and the business rule goes against the members on the OPEN form. Not the form that made the business rule to this topic.

    4. If, after step three, you open a different form that also has a top business rule and press on save, it runs both the business rule in the open form, AND the business rule of form before.

    Is this a bug? For?

    For those of you more visually inclined:

    Form/tab A - form by default upon opening, without BR

    Form/tab B - BR

    Form/tab C - no BR

    Form/tab D - BR

    Form/tab E - BR

    1. open Data Composite of form - see form A. press on save - committed to the database.

    2. click on the tab B. press on save. Data committed to the database. B rule business runs.

    3. click on the tab C. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members on form C.

    4. click on tab D. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members of business of d. form rule, D runs.

    5. click on the tab E. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members of the form E. company rule D works on members of the form E.

    NOW the weird part!

    1. open the composite shape - see formula.

    2. click on tab D.

    3. click on the tab B. press on save. Data committed to the database. Business rule B runs first on the members on the form B. business rule D then runs on Member on form B.

    Our first theory was that because BR B came first in alphabetical order in the calc Manager, B pulled before. We have this disproved by renaming and changing the order of B and D in calc Manager. BR B always run before D. BR our second theory was that the business rules are executed based on the order in which they appear in the tabs. But we have refuted this as well. We concluded that the order of business rules is in order that their "links" exist in the rules on the Composite shape. Help!

    Tried this on our system and we have same question... It looks like another bug in EMP 11.1.2.3... SR trigger with the support of the oracle, they could fix it in future versions...

    I try to have the x-axis of the graph (11g) in a sort order and the column is a column of text.

    Have you tried using a column sort order to the RPD. You need a column that indicates the sort order in which you view and use the column sort order to sort these.

    If you have only a few records, then try to write a case statement for a number in the way that you want the chart to order and then put a sort on this.

    Try and tell me if it does not work...

    I have a requirement where I need to check that an item is item is null or not in the rule and business based on the return value. I am able to compare the element with a constant value of value but don't know how to check for null in order of business. Can someone help me.

    I tested the webservice and his work as expected. Element null means, when you test the Web service in the user interface for SOAP.

    You must give the input as below





    If you give the entry as indicated above, it will give as output as "input element is zero", it works as you must, observed in the above query, it isn't even a space in the entry tags.

    You can see here, there is a space in the query, the answer might now be "entry element is not null.

    Reveal the sidebar in Photos.  Just press the key combination command-option-S ⌥⌘S

    Select photos on the album or the moment and then drag them to your calendar project icon in the sidebar to add them to the calendar.

    Film the bottom of the calendar project drag them to the pages where you want to use them.

    You must create the subdomain with your domain hosting provider and then ordered that Business Catalyst the same way you did the real estate.

    Title of the dialog box get ready unless the code is executed in a context of trust. It's a bit complicated to put up with a custom in a stamp file dialogue box, so I won't even try to explain it.

    Hello gurus,

    I created a logic model where I use consistent dimensions to reflect inside several facts that business model.

    Say so I have two dimensions - order of business and Dim - Dim company and I have both done facts - GL and fact - SLA

    Fact THAT GL is joined to Sun - order of business, Sun - society that ALS is both physical and logical.

    I created two issues of presentation and called it GL analytics and analytics of the SLA and put my respective GL and SLA facts and their dims.

    When I try to draw the columns only from dimensions order number of Dim - Dim - Comapany work order and the name of the company work, even if they are attached to fact - table of SLA OBIEE in this is motion - GL instead. I'm getting a problem of circular join here. I see only the results of a single company name but does not order number in the analysis.

    However, in the STANDARD of BI applications data model. I consider AP - post Transactions, AR - publication of transaction with Sun - GL Account (Segment 1) and Dim - GL Company (semgment 2) they have a similar join. However, when I request only fades account number and name of the company I get results for both and the request send joins to correct the table W_AP_XACT_F and joins these tables dim.

    What I'm doing wrong here.

    In the properties of your topic, you can specify a column is implicit:

    For each domain in the presentation layer, you can define a column made implicit. The implicit column is added to a query when it contains columns of two or several dimension tables and no action. The column is not visible in the results. It is used to specify a default path of join between the dimension tables when there are several contexts or possible alternatives.

  • order cancelled - Dell did not warn me - is a way of doing business?

    I placed an order three days ago.  I got an email saying that the command has been received, with specific order in the email details (type laptop, processor, memory, etc.).  The order was definitely was received by Dell, since details of the system in the email.  But I never received a confirmation e-mail.

    I spent * a lot * of time on the phone today, talk to 'support' staff, who told me that the order has been "lost" or "cancelled", or that there was "a problem."  (Yes - they really said that!)  Is it a software company?)  They balance me to place the order again, but there is no documentation that the order was cancelled in fact.  This is all very frustrating.

    Is a Dell computer company?  Dell wants to sell computers to individuals?  I ordered several Dell computers in the past, both for home and for the institutions, and I've never run into that.  How can an order simply disappear?  How a Dell employee can cancel an order without notice to the customer?  Is there a phone number to talk to someone who can answer questions and not only give formulas answers?

    The question is simple. I don't know if there is a command (similar to "..") to represent a group of a real table in a structure of 'case '.

  • Since the installation of 32.0, my contact list is not in alphabetical order. Seems to be dated, then alpha by name. Why?

    Running Version 32.0. As it has been installed, my Contact list is not displayed in alphabetical order. Instead the contact appear to be displayed in activity date and/or time, and then by order of name. Example, I got a list of contacts 25 in sequence pell-mell, when I changed a piece of dat and found that the contact has changed is now at the top of the list! I changed a contact who should appear above this on and also, he went to the top of the list. In this way, I got the entire list in order. I then saw a mistake on one and corrected these contact data. This time went to the top of the list!

    If I can provide any other information, please let me know.

    May I suggest to revert to a previous version and by adopting a more cautious approach to upgrades?

    In Thunderbird Windows updates are automatic by default. In order to avoid similar situations in the future, you could change that and decide to have a more cautious approach to updates.

    Before trying what anyone, make a backup of your Thunderbird profile.

    You can uninstall the current version of Thunderbird via Control Panel > programs and features and reinstall a previous version, download it from here:

    Click the type for your operating system. for example: If you use Windows select "win32", then select the language for example: en-GB British English = then download the .exe file

    You can customize the behavior of automatic updates, however, it is under Tools > Options > advanced > update.

    My suggestion would be to check the updates but let me choose whether to install them.especially if you depend on critical business e-mail / important or personal questions.
