• Question about file names and organization

  Background

  I connected my camera to my iMac and downloaded my photos directly into iPhoto without ever thinking about it. I just thought it was the way to do it.  Now that I began to rethink the organization / structure of how I want to drop my photos I find myself with what to do on all my previous photos.

  Question

  I am wanting to rename all the photos of my real FILE NAME to a certain format that I read recently on the subject, and I wonder about how this topic with all the previous pictures I imported into iPhoto.

  Is my only option to EXPORT all of the photos to a certain spot on my hard drive, rename them and then re - import in the iPhoto library, or possibly create a whole new library?

  I understand that the change of name to a photo in iPhoto does nothing for the name of the file on the computer so I'm looking for all of the options that I might have.

  Yes. It's your only option to change the file names.  But here's the thing: If the photo is in iPhoto, then the file name is not just serious. Not at all. Never.

  So it would be totally useless.

  Replace the title by any means, and then if you move ever leaving iPhoto you can export using the title as the file name.

  I don't know what naming scheme you will think, but be sure that it involves no character ' / '. Avoid colon.

• MaxPageSize problem/Question about Active Directory in my organization.

  Hello guys, I'm having a weird problem with Active Directory in my organization.

  Long story short:

  In my environment, the MaxPageSize value is the default value (1000), and MaxValRange also has by default (1500).

  However, in the Exchange Event Viewer, I see the existing event several times below:

  A ldap directory SRV1 Server search results. DOMAIN.COM has exceeded the administrative limit. Only the first 100 entries have been returned successfully by the search request.

  My question is: If the MaxPageSize controls the number of objects returned in a single search result, and it is currently set at 1000, why Exchange sees only the first 100 entries of each search?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Tree of the University campus solutions 9.0 organization and Lookup Table question

  People,

  Hello. I'm creating 9.0 Solution Campus of a college. I confront the issue as below:

  Implement AWAR > Foundation Table > academic Structure > academic organization

  I implemented the academic organization of these data Table: in addition to academic departments, I also type in academic institutions and academic groups.

  Then I create academic organization tree using the tree Manager. The tree is verified and valid a date of entry into force.

  Then I put in place the 2 tables below:

  Implemented AWAR > Foundation Table > academic Structure > program academic table

  Implemented AWAR > Foundation Table > academic Structure > Table of different disciplines

  Table of research of the academic organization developed in the 2 above table successfully. But when I put in place the other 2 tables below, search for academic organisation table does:

  Implement > AWAR > Security > secure Administration of the student > user ID > Security academic organization

  Curriculum management > Catalogue > Catalogue courses > tab offer

  I understand that the 2 tables above are based on the tree of academic organizations and not on the academic organization Table. I see no error in the tree.

  Because the search for academic organisation table can't happen in the tab 'Offers' course catalogue, the course cannot be saved.

  My question is:

  Any folk can help resolve the issue of the "academic organization lookup table cannot mount security academic organization and in the tab catalog of courses'? Or any suggestion on the tree of the academic organizations?

  Perform the following procedure:

  Home > ACSS configuration > Security > secure Administration student > process > security update - Acad Orgs

  After the execution of the process, check the lookup tables.

• Install new PSE / uninstall old. Question of what's going on with the old Organizer and catalog files. MacOS

  Currently have installed PSE10 and install PSE11 on Mac OS 10.6.8 snow leopard.

  I don't understand how to download and install PSE11 and convert the Organizer.  I intend to leave PSE10 installation in place while I install PSE11 and if all goes well with the conversion would be to uninstall PSE10.

  Currently, organizer of PSE10 records are currently here on my mac:

  / Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Elements/10.0/Organizer

  and

  / Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Elements/10.0/Catalog

  So my question is what happens to the files above when you install PSE11 with PSE10 at the same time?

  When PSE10 is uninstalled using the uninstall program "adobe" deleted these files?  If you want to continue to use just the new PSE11, which is the recommendation about the deletion or to leave these files if they are not removed by the uninstall adobe program?

  Are there any suggestions or things I should know about this process?

  PSE10 and PSE11 can be installed at the same time. They are independent programs.

  PSE11 will install its own catalogues and invites you to "convert" your current PSE11 catalog.

  A new catalog is a new catalog subfolder will be created at the same level as the old catalog.

  If you agree to the conversion, the old catalog (where the name of the folder catalog) will be renamed with the suffix-1. It will work with PSE10 without any intervention on your part.

  The new catalog will acquire the same name as the old catalog.

  You can work with PSE10 or PSE11 with their own catalogues.

  You know if a catalogue record is on version PSE10 or PSE11 when you use catalog for the conversion Manager. You can also watch inside the catalog folder and look at the name of database catalog: catalog.pse10db or catalog.pse11db.

  (Keep in mind that what is modified or updated to date in a catalog is ignored by the other, this is true for the different catalogs in PSE10, the same goes for the catalogs on both versions).

  If you uninstall PSE10, PSE10 catalogues are not changed or deleted. They are still available for the conversion of a later version... or if you want to reinstall PSE10.

  So my question is what happens to the files above when you install PSE11 with PSE10 at the same time?

  The catalog files don't take up much space. As explained above, they can be kept for most conversions. If you have more than one catalog, only the current upgrade time is converted. You must convert the others manually via the button "Catalog Manager".

• Recovery of Frontpage - organization, download questions

  Rant included... My wife has an extensive site of our Golden Retriever kennel.  Against my advice, she built and maintained on Frontpage, Expression later.  Host says that we have to go forward into something and another not obsolete.  (We can leave there what't fix anything that does not work, but I have to build into something else).

  I used a copy of the MX for years, quite happy.  Not a cutting-edge designer!

  Woman finds herself quite capable of building in DW.  The problem is that in the public Service what she did was to build a page and click on publish.

  To be clear on the difference, on my page for my group, I create a page, have all the images in a folder.  Download page, download all new pix which is hands down in this folder.

  I can't do nothing out how FP organizes things.  There is a list of single file, pages, images, and other stuff, everything in alphanumeric order.

  Woman comes to discover that in the public Service the separate elements of a page does not automatically send with the page.  I need to download the pix individually.

  Lotsa pix.  Not organized.  Beautiful new pages redone, now she has to go through this list huge file and download the pix.  LOTSA PIX.

  She is pouting.

  Unless there is a solution of pixie dust, what will happen is I'll browse their huge site and reorganize it and insist she keep the organization.  Because she won't.

  MX's 12.  It is obsolete, is supported and well beyond its expiration date.

  There's no magic wand to rebuild a site at the modern web standards.   We have too many changes since MX and FP came on the scene.

  You will need to bite the bullet and start with a clean slate.  Because your wife has no experience coding or file management, WordPress may be a better solution all around.   Most Web hosts support WordPress web.  And many have 'a button' your server C-Panel installation.

• Questions from the Organizer

  Hello, I am currently using the items 9 and moving at 10 once I have completed a project in 9.  My question, which is annoying [:-), it is when I open the project that I'm trying, the Organizer contains files and images I have used other projects.]  I don't want to have this problem when I install 10, so my question is how can I set up ther organizing to display only the files in the project I open in 9 & 10?  What I have to do now is to click the drop down arrow on the "filter" and find the folder that I need.

  In a related issue, when I use the 'get media' choice in the Panel organize and I the fiolder of current project open, my goal is to bring in a file that I want in this file.  It seems do not place it in the folder that I issued the command 'get media'  But when I click on the "Project" folder next to the 'Snapshot' choice, I see file... why it it puts it and how I managed guide where I want him to be at the start?

  I doubt that the tool is designed to work this way, so I'm tender hand to you for your help.  Thank you.

  Welcome to the forum.

  There are two panels, which look like pretty much the same. One is the Organizer, which displays the media files on your system, and the other is the project based on the project Panel. The second is ONLY for your project, while the first is for all media on the system.

  In the second case, the Organizer, you can create catalogs, which limit what we see at all times.

  If you pass this sign to change and then of the project (the Organizer), you will then see only in the media, which has been imported into your open project.

• Organize the Favorites of EXPLORER WINDOWS XP gives a blank window / vacuum. Question of IE8?

  I work at a new installation of xp sp3 - fully up-to-date as at January 19, 2010.  With the latest fixes for IE8.

  Normally, I do an extensive use of the favorite to speed up browsing on the wide and deep directory on my local machine and network structures.

  But now, the link to organize Favorites for windows Explorer gives a completely empty window / vacuum. The only action is to close.

  Anyone got any ideas for a fix?

  Or - a better alternative to the use of the Favorites for quick navigation?

  BTW - I have to say that I can get to Organize Favorites in IE8. But as I only really use Favorites within windows Explorer and rarely use IE for anything, whether is not very useful to me.

• Question on the Organization of the elements on the screen using the disposal of the battery

  I have 4 images (384 [half of the width of the screen] by 384).

  I want to organize 2 next to each other at the top and 2 under these two next to each, in the middle of the screen. Here's a shot: here's a picture for you show

  In this way, when the orientation is changed to landscape mode, the images will remain in the same position.

  I'm trying to find a way to do it with StackLayout. So far I have root container with SL, from top to bottom and inside, two StackLayouts for top and bottom images, both from left to right. This is not however lead to 4 images at the center of the screen. If I ask a top padding to Center, she led the top padding be there when its landscape in orientation, and therefore looks like a place empty at the top when it shouldn't be.

  Can anyone offer an idea on how to do it? Thank you!

• I am trying to configure MÜDE for my organization using Oracle BI administrator and have some questions about its feasibility. Please help me.

  I'm looking for in the MUDE (multi development environment - user) for future developments of the RPD and I tested various scenarios and I came across a few questions:

  1. do you think that we can add new objects to an existing project without checking in?

  2. in case I missed a few items for development while creating a project, so how do I add them to the project?

  3. special security on objects - it can handle special security on objects (example fields assigned to hidden only)?

  4 should we we look at a timetable of the releases (only the new changes to RPD each 60 / 90 days?)

  I know that few issues may be vague, but any idea on those who could help me a lot.

  I don't want a double amount of answers. Because I have no response from the other group felt that it was in the wrong place or group sleeping and it took a double signal. Of course, I will be closed one of them when the answers start coming.

  1 MUD is based on projects of RPD - amending the RPD requires checkout / mud
  2. proposed adjustments are made in the DPR MUD Master

  3 Please give details...
  4 RPD development should be managed and disciplined; cadence of releases is entirely up to you.

• Question PSE 14 Album organization?

  I'm new to PES. I have a problem when I take pictures from the organizer and put in an Album. Everything what I see online that I should be able to move and organize my photos. The tutorials online to show every inch nail has space between them and you can move them. My albums, I'm trying to create, the photos are all close together, and I can't do anything with them, very frustrating. I have tried for days to figure out but must be missing something. Can you please help.

  Ya that's what I did, if I click once it just starts to do something dashed as if I was preparing a harvest on a photo. Then I click twice and I'll get the circle with a line in it as if she will allow me to drag and drop, but when I drop it, it disappears and nothing changes, almost it as a lock on it. Totally weird. I had my friends computer watch and they look up and follow the instructions, but in vain.

  How to search for images with one (or both) of two tags? I can do the looks I could do pse10 GOLD.  Can I exclude certain tags?

  Use the menu "Find" with the option "retail - metadata". You can combine several criteria to choose either "AND" or "gold".

  EDIT:

  When you use the 'Advanced' view (click on the magnifying glass on the top of the page menu on the right), you can select your two tags, which displays the option "AND", then click on the menu 'option' in the bar under the tag lists, to the right, then choose 'show close matches' or similar wording (my PES is in French...).

  That point the leftmost is the name of your catalog.

  If you want to change the name, use the file... Catalog to open the Catalog Manager.  You can highlight your catalog in the bottom of the dialog box and use the button "Rename".
