  OK, I just tired it. I created two Actions (one using 'Image-Fit' value 800 pixels and another using 'Image size' value 17.4216% to reduce 4592 to 800 pixels). I ran each Action against a mixture of image orientation portrait and landscape and the results were identical and correct (the largest dimension is reduced to 800 piexels and the smallest to 532 pixels).

  All images of my Masters are 4592 x 3056 (or 3056 x 4592), the 17.4216% reduced to 800 x 532 (532 x 800). If I had a master mix of images of different size, 17.4216% would not suffer in 800 pixels. In this case, I would need to use "Mount Image" to get 800 pixels or I need a new Action with different percentages.

  In conclusion, you are right. 'Fit the picture' is what I should use so it will result in 800 pixels, regardless of the size of the master image. Thanks for your help.

  I took 2 photos in orientation portrait (long side vertical, i.e., "oriented vertically').  I looked in Adobe Bridge CS3 and of course initially found to be lying on its side, oriented horizontally.  I used the visible button in top right in Adobe Bridge, which shows a partial circle and an arrow to change the orientation of the pictures to be oriented vertically.  I opened in Photoshop CS3 and they display correctly oriented vertically.  I tweaked them and saved, thinking that they must now be correctly oriented vertically, such that they display correctly in bridge and Photoshop both.  However, when these are displayed in a web browser (Mozilla or Internet Explorer) they display incorrectly, horizontally oriented.  I know that this must have a ridiculously simple explanation and solution, but it's not obvious to me how to say Bridge or Photoshop to guide the photo in default orientation such that it will be viewed in other programs not Adobe.  Where this information is stored, and how can I fix?  This seems to be a bad behavior, as a user may be unaware that the image is not correctly rotated.

  Hello. I had a problem on problem of orientation.  Only 9900 real device got this problem (the other deivce is ok as Simulator 9810 and 9900 also ok.).

  This is perhaps because previous models could not rotate the screen -?  Only touch screen models.

  All other models are either a touchscreen where North is the same as the Portrait is a non touchscreen where the display is always North either portrait or landscape.

  So just check AccelerometerSensor.isSupported (), and if that returns false, you know it will always be in the North either portrait or landscape.

  If what you're trying to do is to make the display always be oriented as when the phone is held normally, then set the acceptable to the north direction, and it should behave the same on everything... except that the Storm, the display does not obey a command to move a certain way, it will remain however is that the app was started , but then lock in the North, if the user does rotate this portrait.

  To anyone who has this problem, Adobe fixed it for me. When and only when the model is displayed correctly (usually on start-up LR) then right-click on this model and choose "Update with current settings". As the models were created on my mac for a reason any PC did not want to make them work properly. They will be working always once start LR so this should be an opportunity for you to correct!

  Apparently, I downloaded my version 1.0 (which was built the year last with a viewer incompatible iOS 7). Despite the AppStore to information updated my information 2.0, it always downloaded the old application.
