ORS XML 7.0 report output defaults to RTF format

Someone had this problem? After you apply the Patching, the default output for XML reports 7.0 RUP is RTF. This must be the changes manually before you run the report in PDF format, to view the report in PDF Format. Suggestions how this default to PDF?

Thank you, Tyler.

Hi Tyler, you can go to the definition of the report template and click on "Update" and then change the default output to PDF and save it. It is a new feature of ORS 7.0.

Thank you!

  • How to set the date output Excel in RTF format

    Hello

I have a report and I have a date named as period column. And I need this field as this MAY-11 output.

So I used this tag <? format-date: CREATION_DATE; "MON - YY'? > when I ran and see the results in rtf his works very well and the exit is on MAY 11, but when I see the result in Excel format its does not display correctly. It shows as 11-MAY '.

Can someone tell me if this is a format problem or a problem with excel.

    Thanks and greetings

You can add two spaces at the end to prevent excellent formatting, so that it treats the field as a text.

  • DAQ digital output default to low Earth

    Hello

This probably a basic question, but I have found information on this subject.

When I connect a data acquisition unit (usb6009) to the USB port I get any output defaults to a high (+ 5V) until I run my program and I put them to lower ground.

Is it possible to configure default data acquisition always at 0V?

I enjoy any comments or links on how to change this.

    Thank you

The default value for the 6009, is that they are all set for entries. What you see is the pull up. But, no, you cannot set the power of the State to the 6009.

    Hello

I face a problem with Apex 5.0 because all end-users can now edit and save the main report by default.

    Hi Sergio,

If you start an application with the manufacturer APEX you always act as developer, independent on the credentials of the account you are actually using to connect to your application. The reason being that you can also use LDAP or SSO for authentication. In this case APEX don't even know that you are a developer or an end user, because there is no associated user accounts APEX tables. That's why it all started from the generator must be a developer.

  • Design report Oracle in the .rtf file...

Is MS Word 2010 supports design .rtf fie (for Oracle Apps reports)? If yes how to design it is, creating a field?

I developed a relationship with tool of reporting of Oracle 10 g. I record in Oracle Apps (R12), output PDF Format.
It runs properly but in PDF file, the data is translated in some symbols. How to get the appropriate data in the PDF file.

    Hello

First you must install BI Publisher in your machine so that u get a new add-in in MS Word for the generation of reports using RTFs created by MS Word.

Once you install the BI Publisher in your machine, its pretty simple.

    Follow these steps:

    1. create data models only for your reports and triggers except the layout of the document.
    2. save the conc prog in Oracle Apps and give the type of output in xml format
3 Add a new XML Publisher administrator responsibility to your responsibilities and the definition of the data model Create and in the definition of data code place your abbreviated name of conc prog and give the type of output in PDF or require the output type u.
    4. open MS Word and design your page layout using tables of the insert.
    5. save the word in .rtf format document.
6 Download this document in the section of the template in RTF format in the RESP to the administrator of the XML Publisher
    7 query conc.

P.S. learn more on this blogs and oracle documentation and be careful with xml tags.

Oracle RDF (A) - gives xml - Conc Prog (B) tags - xml gives the tags RDF for XML - model Publisher (C)---> gives the output :)

    If A = B
    B = C
    which implies that A = C

    Happy learning! :)

    Thank you

  • Problem with the thrust of the report the conversion to RTF

    Hello Exparts,

    My version of report is
    Report Builder 6.0.8.11.3
    ORACLE Server Release 8.0.6.0.0
I did a report, whose orientation is landscape. I put the landscape layout. Of report Navigator > > layout > > main Section, I set the orientation to landscape and the weight and size of paper.

The report shows correct, print correctly but when I generate RTF report runtime format, it generates in the RTF format.

Problem is when I open the report with Microsoft Office Word, it shows as so right Portrait of the report to cut.

You people to know and have any solution to open it because it is like the view of the report?

    Thanks in advance...

Specify the orientation system setting. This is a priority on the Orientation property and the Width and Height properties. To specify the ORIENTATION of the system parameter, which allows end users to change orientation during execution:

Choose Tools > parameter Form Builder to display the parameter Form Builder.

    Click the orientation system setting.

Click OK to display the paper setting.

Double-click the value of Orientation (PF_ORIENTATION) field to display the property inspector.

Under the settings node, set the property of the initial value of Portrait or landscape.

Click on the run button paper, layout on the toolbar.

In the Orientation list, change the orientation If you wish.

Set the Orientation property and/or the Width and Height properties:

In the navigation of the object under the document node set page, double-click the icon of properties for the relevant report (header, Main, or trailer) section to view the property inspector (by default, a report is defined in Section hand).

In the Inspector properties, under the Section node, set the Orientation property to the desired value. If the value is Portrait or landscape, this value takes precedence over the Width and Height properties. If the default orientation is based on the values of the Width and Height properties (orientation landscape if the width is greater than height and orientation portrait if the height is greater than width).

    Hope this helps

Look at the links given by AJ.

Basically what you will do is create a data definition and to assign a data model. Create a template (text) and assign it to your definition of data. You will use the XML editor Java API classes to pass parameters to your data model and extract the XML data. Then you will use this in conjunction with your document and the region of integration OFA model to present the final result to the user.

All these things are in the documentation of the XML editor and the Javadocs.

  • How do I configure DBXML to not output default encoding in the XML tag.

    Basically,.

I put in documents such as
    <? XML version = "1.0? >
    < a / >

    and then querying for them.
Currently I use the NodeContainer type.

When I get the return document, DBXML appears automatically
    return the document
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
    < a / >

is there a way to have him out not the encoding attribute?
    with NodeContainer.
I have not tried it with WholedocContainer again.
Note: I'm under Berkeley dbxml 2.5.13
    with PHP

Wholedoc container will help you with that. If you want to keep the content of the document as it was in the case of a container of NodeStorage, you can store the specific content in a metadata field. It is definitely cool generals at least in size. Otherwise, I do not know a better solution

  • transform xml using Labview report programmatically

I want to turn the report xml standard for Teststand in a more user-friendly format for users who need to view reports, but do not have access to the test station.  Check out the attached code.  It should work, but I get this error. "Objects of type"Script2"need not have such a member" "Script2" made reference to node msxsl: script javascript in the stylesheet horizontal.xsl Teststand.

Well, I was just busy with the same question.

I did a VI that transforms an XML in HTML.

Input: output the XML and the path to the style sheet, an HTML tag in the same folder.

    Made in Labview 8.5.

I have only tested with horizontal.xsl, as this is the format that I always use.
