  The problem is that the NTN online newspaper is displayed as a Flash video, which essentially cannot be copied and pasted.  Because you said that you have been copying things over the years, I guess RTN has recently changed how they provide the journal online.

  You have two options.

  1. you can print the pages in which you are interested and keep in a file or loose-leaf notebook.  Use the 'print' in the journal view, not your browser file > print menu or the browser print icon.

  2. download and install free CutePDF Writer and the free converter of GPL Ghostscript of CutePDF.  It's probably better log on as a user with "computer administrator" privileges to proceed with the installation.  Check the FAQ.

  After installing CutePDF Writer, whenever you print something, will be one of the choices for the printer to use CutePDF Writer.

  Then, print the pages of the newspaper online RTN 1 above, but use CutePDF Writer rather than your 'real' printer  A dialog box opens asking you to designate a file name and a location where the result will be stored.  After a while, you will have a PDF of your selected pages (rather than a Word document).

  Most people have already installed the Adobe Reader app for free.  If you do not, you can get it here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ don't forget to UNCHECK the box which installs McAfee Security Plus.  Or, if you want a smaller, faster, less intrusive pdf reader, Foxit Readerfree software.

  After formatting the drive, I installed Windows XP and its updates including SP 3.  Outlook Express spell check worked only in French.  I installed an older version of Word.  Now spellcheck OE will not launch even if it lists the English of the United States as the default language (Tools, Options, spelling, default language).  How can it be fixed so it works as it did before you reformat the HARD drive?

  Outlook Express cannot use the check spelling of MS Word in Office 2007 or newer. A free spell-checking the download is the easiest way to get around this.

• 6380 will not print envelopes from word

  6380 into one ask for photo paper when you try to print envelopes from word. If I put the piece of paper in the photo tray is printed on this paper.   I found that when configure envelope printing in WORD it selects the photo tray for food (with 6380 all-in-one), this causes the alert: photo error empty of the status bar if photo paper is not loaded.   If I select the main tray feed in the printing options when you configure envelpoe print. WORD cautions that it's not the tray THAT Word has chosen for this printer. But it works and I can print my envelopes.

• User Windows will not forget ADE

  Have a lot of problems with my Adobe ID and Adobe Digital Editions. Tried to uninstall computer (six or seven times) but every time I reinstall, it's as if I never uninstalled it, my ID is automatically connected so my problems (My Kobo does not recognize new books transferred even if it worked fine last night). I tried something new and a new Windows user and signed in my Adobe ID and it worked. It solves my problem only temporarily because my books are all on my another Windows account and I'm not going to create a new windows account each time that ADE no longer works and I have to uninstall it. I saw on the forum that the initial problem happens a lot and a lot of people (books library not recognizable Kobo when Adobe ID has not been changed, Kobo or on computer). Is there anyway to make my computer (windows account #1) forget that I ever had of ADE intalled?

  It worked for me. Follow the flow of data and delete the folder adept. May take a few minutes for your computer to make the change. Disconnect and reconnect your device. Click help to authorize.

  -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
  -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

• PDFmaker addin will not auto-charge for Word

  Using Office 2013 and Acrobat Pro 11.0.08. Until this week, the PDFmaker add-in is always enabled in Word. Then it was a mistake to make a merger in PDF format.

  Now, every time I start up Word, PDFmaker shows as inactive ("' load behavior: unloaded" ") until I go to file | Options | Add-ins and tick the box to load. Then, it works fine until I'm close Microsoft Word and have to do it again.

  How to auto-charge? I can't find a place to set it.

  You can solve this problem by changing the registry entry "LoadBehavior".  The value must be 3 (loading at startup).

  With office of 2013, the registry key is to

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.officeaddin

  A note: the Add-In was loading when I ran as administrator, but not when I opened just a Word doc.  I checked this same registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key and it has been fixed at 3.  I guess that's the reason why it worked when run as administrator.  For some reason any the LoadBehavior key had been reduced to 0 on my HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry key.

  However, the fix above will work because I just tried it on my machine and another one here in the office that had the same problem.

• Satellite L40: Vista will not open the docs Word XP

  I have a new L40 and were transferred from the old XP docs. The new L40 won't open word documents. Can anyone help?

  For sites with a previous version, I deleted all cookies, bookmarks, and the old passwords and restarted. No luck.

  Some sites such as Windows Live (Hotmail) use JavaScript to create the input form and the Firefox password manager does not work in cases like this. You can use the extension to save the name and the password in such a case, you will not forget them, but Firefox doesn't fill them even if it was recorded.

  Go to start / Default programs / associate a file or Protocol with a program and do scroll up until you get in .txt.  It's probably on the notebook.  Click on change and change for Microsoft Word (you may need to search for winword.exe somewhere in Program Files) and save your work and exit.  In the future, .txt files will be opened with Microsoft Word.

  If this happens with the .doc, .docx, .rtf, or other files that MS Word can open, and then do the same with these types of files that you did with .txt above.

• 10.11.2 OSX (El Capitan) will not synchronize with Apple Mail Hotmail

  SSDS are erased and reinstalled 10,11,2 to see if this would help... it didn't.

  Problem started with Yosemite and continues in El Capitan.  System I cannot add my hotmail for Apple Mail, Outlook or Thunderbird account!

  System is "Unable to verify the account name or password" only on accounts Hotmail/outlook! All my other 5 accounts are added without problem! 

  I tried shortening hotmail password and renewed by password Microsoft 5 times in the last 24 hours, with no result!

  Help, please.  I've deliberately not migrated by user settings of my recorded image of the SSD drive before the clear operation just so I would not import corruption.

  What is a corrupted installation of 10.11.2?  If something is poisoned in my keychain?  Is this a known problem in OSX 10,11,2?  I am at my wits end because I love Apple Mail structure and have used for the last 5 years; all my files are organised in it, I want TO use it; but the system simply does not permit a connection to hotmail.

  I had this same problem on my iMac since the installation of El Capitan.  Never had a problem before this date.  I finally got Hotmail to synchronize, changed the process except mail leaves and fresh to add a Hotmail account.  It took several attempts, so no idea why it worked finally.  Now it syncs automatically not when I run Mac mail, but I can choose manually sync by right click on my hotmail account in Mac mail and it syncs correctly most of the time.  If it's not I pulled out and restart Mac mail then sync again manually.  Not an indoor pleasure, but it works.  I have no problem using hotmail on my windows PC.  After manual synchronization, I sometimes get an error when you try to delete or move a mail electronic hotmail to another folder.  I just wait until the next time I quit mail and restart to try again.  Something is certainly wrong somewhere.  Same problem with Thunderbird, but will have to re-enter the password manually to synchronize, memory of password never works, so it is not limited to Mac Mail, but is a Mac related issue.
