OSX.7 on ESXi - anyone else have problems?

Just to cover some of the basic points that seem to come up:

a. running on any material not Mac OSX is a violation of the EULA

b. Mac mini are not compatible with ESXi, it will install however you will be left without a network connection

c. Mac Pro (mid-2010 in my case) work with ESXi, but they do not appear on the VMware HCL

OSX installs and runs fine, until you apply the updates. Then it just sits on the gray screen of the Apple at the start.

Has anyone else been able to install OSX on a case of ESXi and had it work perfectly?

I was very excited when VMware for the first time the possibility of legitimately virtualize OSX, but between all the Apple restrictions, then either Xserve - in production being the only compatible ESXi host, he was pretty well let down.

Of course, before the reboot, replace /System/Library/Extensions/AppleLSIFusionMPT.kext by the 10.7.1

    Well, I think that I have finally confirmed that it was a problem of Windows Defender.  I was able to restore to the point before restoration 4 Windows Defender Update.  Everything is back to normal now.

    This is the second time that I applied a patch ACS to one of our boxes of ACS SE 1113 only to happen in an unusable state. Today, I applied patch level 4.1.4.13.7 4.1.4.13.11. I used the GUI to apply the hotfix. Now most of the services will not start. Restore does not work. It seems that he will again have to be reconfigured.

    I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Maybe I should have used the command line to apply the patch?

  • Anyone else have problems with the last update? (SEPT 12, 2014)

    Last night automatic updates downloaded the latest updates for Windows 7.  I have professional, 32-bit.

    This morning when I started the system, it finished installing.  I then received a flag I had no firewall or antivirus.

    I have McAffee to the firewall and AV, but neither would begin.

    I then tried to advocate.  It wouldn't start either,

    Windows Firewall would not start.

    So I did a system restore to the last night before the update and everything is OK.

    Until the automatic updates decides to return home.

    And now the stupid part.  Around noon, the updates came back and were resettled.

    BUT there is no problem this time.

    Guys who sell computers always say that they are very reliable and problem-free.

    But I made my life by fixing the darned things.

  • does anyone else have problems w Acrobat Reader on Windows 7. ?

    I can't open most PDF documents.  I get a box to have permission to open it... then, after that I say yes, I get another box saying: there is a problem with Acrobat Reader.

    Not sure what the problem is.  Any suggestions?

  • Does anyone else have problems trying to update CC 2.0.0.74?

    We run an office with the help of a couple of Asus computers laptop running Windows 8.1.  Both were running creative cloud very well with Acrobat applications and Photoshop very well until 2.0.0.74 update came.  A system is updated very well and everything works as usual, the other will update absolutely not a reason any.  She starts, gets to 100%, then shuts down without other alerts or popup windows.  When we try to start it again, it requires us to upgrade to 2.0.0.74 again in an infinite loop.  He also don't serve us Acrobat or Photoshop in the meantime, so we're stuck testing of versions that are about to run out.  We tried twice to use the 'help' of Adobe chat and have gotten nowhere.  I'm about to completely uninstall the CC and install it again, but except that, I'm out of ideas.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  • Anyone else have problems with Photoshop CC 2014 WIA?

    I tried to do a quick scan this morning and Photoshop wouldn't let me. Actually, just try to PS of accident causes. Every time. The report traces the problem to WIASupport.8li.

    I know that it is not the scanner because I managed to get my doc to scan perfectly via MS Paint, of all things. Of course, being x 64, PS 2014 don't introduce myself a TWAIN alternative, which makes this WIA that support a lot more important. I could be wrong, but I also don't remember having this problem with the latest v14 PS.

    My information system is the following:

    • APP: Photoshop CC v2014 (15.0.0.58)
    • MODULE FAILURE: WIASupport.8li (15.0.0.1)
    • OS: 8.1 Pro x 64 Windows (Update 1)

    HM, mine worked, but since you mentioned it I fooled with dialog boxes and I managed to cause Photoshop CC (2014) down: I tried to hit the button [Browse] to change the Destination folder.  Normally I don't change that and simply open the files into Photoshop directly, that always works.

I can't access my Modem via https://192.168.1.1 as long as FF is not accept the certificate to the device. This change is very new and not quite refined properly yet I believe.

    Ever photos first? It should have been included when you first update of Yosemite and now El Capitan. I know that iPhotos updates get a message like that, but I didn't know the Photos app with a message with it.
