OUTLINE OF THE BRUSH

I have been using CS2 on windows vista, I downloaded some new brushes, and they worked very well, after closing the program and opening, instead of the outline of the brush (silhouettes of birds) is visible on the photo, the outline of the brush stands as a cursor in the shape of a cross?

When I click the brush on the photo I want to use is displayed on the image, but as it appears at first like a cursor of the cross, implementation is a bit hit and Miss.

Thanks much for any help!

Several variables come into play, including the caps lock and

the settings in photoshop under the screen and the cursors preferences.

Also the size that you set for the brush (px size), the size and the resolution

of the document.

    HelloUnbenannt.JPGgg.JPG

I can't give my paths of the contours of brush. And also my selection shows this little gray squares and I'm not able to choose my separately from the traces with the selection tool. Anyone know how to remove those squares of my selection? Would be very useful.

Thank you and excuse my bad English...

    Thank you!

You can get rid of the gray squares by masking the bounding boxes. Menu > View > hide Bounding Box or command + SHIFT + B. You need to tell us what tool you used to create the path you are trying to apply the brush gives a preview on. The other thing is that I'm not sure what you mean by 'brush contours' do you want to use the "width" tool to vary the width of the line? You try to apply art forms in the race? A better screenshot of the vector in question can help too.

  • Overlay red when you change the brush size

In the online tutorials, when people change their brush size and hardness, you can see a red overlay which shows what the real brush would look like.
I don't see the Red overlay. Just the outline of the brush size.
Is there a way to do this turn on?

    Photoshop CC + Win10

You can then, as far as I know, neither use this feature, or other features based on the GPU as the rotate view tool, 3D etc. functions.

  • Overview of the brush on the canvas - CS4

I'm having a problem (maybe it's a known bug or just something on my end) when using brushes. After you select a brush (ie. round with hard edge - or indeed any brush), according to my brush size and zoom level, the outline of the brush preview begins to disappear and even more when I zoom more. If I use a 60px banner round brush with a hard edge, once I have the zoom to 100%, the round outline of this brush begins to be cropped. When using a round brush with an edge-30px hard, once I have the zoom to 200%, I get the same effect (see image).

I don't know what factors can cause this, but here are some features of the system:

Dell XPS Gen 4 with HT technology

    Clocked at 3.8 GHz - Core 2

    Win XP Media Center v.2005

    Service Pack 3

    Video:

    nVidia GeForce 9500 GT

6.14.11.9107 driver version (which I think is the most recent)

I recently had to reinstall everything, so maybe I need to update the Psalm I will try that in the meantime. If this isn't a thing with CS4, it's another for me (not to mention the sluggish nature of Flash CS4 - even after his minor update).

Preferences/sliders settings do not change anything (normal and full brush tip).

Preferences/Performance/GPU settings is disabled, but a previous installation of PS CS4 and video drivers allowed the drawing OpenGL - so I don't know why this is sometimes permitted and other times. On a previous installation, I'd get a message randomly when opening PS as my graphics card does not have OpenGL, but sometimes it has been activated.

So, I don't know where else to find the answer.

Have you updated to version 11.0.1 PS?

  • Why can I not see the outline of the entire brush? (CS5)

When you use a broad brush, the brush outline preview is get truncated to a square about 64 x 64 (did not measure exactly).

How can I see the whole outline?

    Thank you

    Richard

This could indicate that you are using very old nVidia display drivers with limitations inherent cursor.

Usually, it is corrected by visiting the web site of the manufacturer of your video card and download/install from their most recent album of driver for your hardware and your BONES.

  • Use the Brush tool for cutting area

    Hello

I use CS2.  I have a brush I have designed and want to use it as a cookie cutter to cut out the pattern of a solid object.  This is the outline of a paw print dawg and I want to eradicate as a solid (not only hierarchical) of the picture below.  Think of it as vacuums the prints of the image below to make it now a transparency of a picture in a layer still lower:

    Dawg paw print

    ... base image

... background to show through eradicated paw prints

I'm sure I've done the wrong way, because I can't make it work.  I've never really used railways many (except by following the step by step instructions), but I have an inkling that this should be done with the paths.  I played a bit with trying to paths, but it turns my soft curves in angular lines.  In addition, when I use my brush, it seems it is a completely closed design, because it holds the colors very well.

I could get some advice here please?

    TIA,

Layer could hide the it, hide the entire layer and then use the brush to unmask.

  • How can I change the colors in the brush library?

I use one of the decorative brush library Scatter brushes in Illustrator CS2. The brush produces stars that are scattered when I draw with the Brush tool. However, I need to change the color of the stars produced by this brush. I want to put the image produced the outline so that I could change the colors using the color palette. My question is: How can I change the color produced by the brush of point clouds?  Thank you.

Select the line and in the object menu, choose Expand.

  • I see additional data when I export the outline of the map of my design as a file gerber

    Hello

Whenever I have export files gerber my project and use any viewer Gerber to check my design that I encounter the following error. In the outline of the map layer, and more the contour of the actual card, one would expect to see, I see three additional points around the Board. These circular marks seem to have added around my board every time I do an export using Ultiboards built on the basis of export. I enclose a snapshot of the look of my layer of the Board outline and you can clearly see the three circular spots around my Board of Directors. I also enclose my main project for your comment file. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    RD

    Hello

    What are the alignment markers.

If you don't want them, turn them off:

    go to the OPTION menu

    the global preferences

On the PCB Design tab, you will see a box with the post-processing

Here, you can turn off snap lines

    success!

  • Change the size of the brush will not work

    Hello

Two days ago, I was able to change my Photoshop brush size and hardness by dragging my mouse while pressing ctrl + alt on my Mac, but today it no longer works. I reset all my settings and also the Brush tool, but it will not work. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

I use a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.11.6 with Photoshop 2015.5.1

    Thank you in advance!

    Markus

You are right! HyperDock has effectively hijacked the shortcut. After uninstalling it, everything has worked again.

    Thanks for your help.

  • How to change the opacity of the brush

I know that I can change alpha. But I want it to be transparent. I want to, like when I draw a line, and I draw another line ontop, I'd still be able to see one below. but all on the same layer. When you do a drawing into a symbol, then you go to alpha color effect and select put the alpha to 50%, then do you the same thing with another object and then to put ontop of eachother. This effect is what I want, but by drawing and without needing to change the effects. If you still don't understand, here's a picture of what I want by simply drawing with a brush.Screenshot_1.png

Try this (unfortunately I have Polish interface):

    (1) set color and less than 100% Alpha

    (2) select the Brush tool

    (3) on the pop-up Panel "object drawing" button trick (I'm not sure this name in English)

    (4) allows you to draw

  • 'Holes' when you draw with the Brush tool

    pinselstrich.jpg

Hello, why I get this 'hole' when I shoot with the Illustrator brush stroke, and how can I change it? (Illustrator CS6)

Drag the brush in the Panel forms.

Select the shape of the brush with direct selection

    Open the Atrributes

Define the shape of the brush to the fill rule 'Non-Zero' (you must "Display options" to make visible buttons)

And of course then Alt-do drag the brush published in the Panel forms once again, replacing the old.

  • Actual size of the brush in Photoshop.

I have a problem with photoshop brushes.  I click on the brush I use and then when I put it in place the image is smaller than the image described?  Does anyone know how to fix this please.  I have it on the two CS ^ CC 2015.  It all started when I got a new hard drive installed on my comouytrer and had to reinstall all my applications.

    Thank you.  Michael

    Maybe your on a mac?

If so, check that the size of the cursor in the System Preferences > accessibility > display is set to Normal.

  • How can I fix the edges pixelated on the brush?

I saw the posts on Cmd-Shift-B and reset all the config files and so on, but I still have this ugly, seemingly intractable problem.  I do not see a method of attachment of an image, so I'll describe it and then look around for a work around.

Everything is, to the best of my knowledge and abilities, in the default state.  I just emptied all the "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings" files and restarted photoshop.  I am using the Brush tool (and most definitely * NOT * the pencil tool).  The hardness is set at 5% (or 0, makes no difference).  When I click on the mouse, I get a model of shotgun with a diameter of about 2 X the size of the brush circle, although a few pixels that carry far.  The circle seems to be the distance from 50% coverage.  What I used to get was an opacity of 0% on the full diameter, 100% opacity (cursor-limited) to 5% of a diameter and a decrease in the stretch more or less from there up to the outer limit of 0%.  So, how can I get my brush to the opacities of this semi-useless to me scattered of pixels at 100% opacity?

I would say that your layer is set to "dissolve".
