Outlook 2016 / editing Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin
On Windows 10...
In 2016 Outlook > file > Options > add-ins >
The "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" is under "Application inactive Add-ins.
At the bottom > COM add-ins > go
This add-in is not checked.
If I try to select it, I get the message, 'not loaded. An error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in.
I tried some of these solutions without success.
PDFMaker is unavailable. Office 2007, 2010, 2013 | Acrobat 9, Acrobat X, XI, Acrobat Acrobat DC
The add-in is in the right place:
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\PDFMaker\Mail\Outlook
In MS Word, there is a different addin loaded, and I can save as a PDF.
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll
Any help is appreciated.

All this allows to work very well with MS Word 2007.

VBA Project Password dialog box shown after closing Excel when Acrobat PDFMaker COM Addin is enabled
I have developed many applications in different environments (ASP, SQL, VBA, VB, etc.) of the past 20 years. Recently I've had reports about a bug that I believe that the derivative of a com add-in called "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" (PDFMaker.OfficeAddin) developed by Adobe.
The application that generates the problem rests in Excel. There a Userform with a ListBox in it. The position of the listbox is different depending on several parameters and is changed programmatically. However, whenever the UserForm has proved and the user closes the file of the VBA project password dialog box appears. The pop up password must be cancelled 2 - 5 times before it disappears.
The problem of course is very annoying and difficult to explain to the customers who paid me for the solution. I spent a lot of time trying to solve the problem, but with little success.
Recently, I read in a forum that it was caused by the Acrobat PDFMaker COM Addin. I couldn't believe it, but when I disabled the add-in everything works correctly. In addition, in machines that does not add-in installed there is no problems reported.
How to reproduce the BUG (5 minutes) (Courtesy Randall):
To reproduce this bug anyone can just create a new workbook for MacroEnabled, 1) adds a UserForm with a close button, 2) protect the VBProject code (this is essential), 3) add code to load or. View the UserForm in the WB or Activate open procedure, 4) add Userform code change of ownership (for example. High =. Left =. (Caption =) in the Userform Init procedure (this is essential), 5) save and close the workbook. (6) revive the workbook by ensuring that the UserForm is opened and then close it via the button you have provided on the UserForm. (7) exit the WB via the file Menu option - leave (this is essential). Wait, wait what he (about 5 seconds) :-) invited password VBProject to appear, repeatable.
As a solution, I tried to disable the add-in at startup, but the line Application.
ComAddIns("
PDFMaker.OfficeAddin")
. Connect = Falsewill throw an error "This add-in is installed for all users on this computer and may only be connected or disconnected by an administrator."
I read in some forum that the issue occurs if the ActiveX DLL does not correctly release the reference to the workbook that contains the VBA project protected by password (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/280454)
Any help to solve the problem or find a workaround is very appreciated.
Niklas
Hi Niklas,
The above question has been saved as a Bug and has been corrected in Acrobat 11.0.1 update.

PDFMaker COM Addin keeps disabling Word in 2013
Having a very strange problem that I can't solve. The problem is that for a user, as part of their windows, the word 2013 user account constantly turns off the Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin Add-In. It worked fine for months and just started failing apparently unannounced. If you are going to manage the COM add-ins you can click on the box and it will work and bring back the option Save As PDF etc, but the next time you open Word it will be disabled again. It works fine under the local Admin account.
I tried all of the following conditions:
1. uninstall / reinstall Acrobat Pro 11.0.0 and 11.0.14 update (for some reason, I get an error when trying to install the updates 11.0.15, 16 or 17 on the computers here but 14 seems to work in all areas)
2 repair Office 2013
3 regserv32 on the PDFMOfficeAddin.dll file (which is successful)
4 registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin\LoadBehavior is set to 3
5 check disabled add-ins in Word, nothing is disabled
6. uninstall / reinstall Acrobat Pro again, reboot after uninstallation and reboot after installation
Any other ideas? Currently I have the user just print to PDF that works, but I want to understand wtf is going on here. The only other thing I can think is that broke a Windows Update, but the same updates went to 200 + other computers here and no one else has reported this problem.
Hi winterelegy ,
Try to perform the steps in this link: why my Acrobat PDFmaker Office COM Addin tab keeps disappearnig of the word in 2013 Office (create a PDF file)
Let us know if it worked.
Thank you

Export of documents to PDF in Outlook 2016
Is it possible to export in PDF format in 2016 Outlook emails? I disabled the OneNote Addin and attempted to activate the Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM add-in, but it doesn't seem to work. I use Adobe Acrobat XI.
Hello
Acrobat XI is not compatible with Office 2016. To use PDFMaker, you will need to upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC.
You can, however, print to Adobe PDF, but the PDF file will be not as rich as those created with PDFMaker.

Acrobat pdfmaker com addin for word 2010 crashes when processing large files
I try to use pdfmaker com plugin for word 2010 to create a PDF document. Whenever I have try and create the document, the addin acrobat crashes Word.
I tried to do this on x 86 and x 64 machine and it failed twice at around the point about even (during/immediately after determining the bookmarks).
The document is large (862 pages, 2425 bookmarks, 311 300 DPI graphic, for a total size of the 49.2MiB file)
I can generate the PDF by printing only, but the question of the use of the pdfmaker is so that we will not have to perform 2.5 K manual reticulations.

Question re Acrobat and Outlook 2016
I have a new PC with Windows 10 and Outlook 2016. I want to buy the new version of Acrobat Pro. What version of Acrobat Pro compatible with Windows 10? If I bought it, I would be able to save an Outlook message as a PDF file and save all of a folder of Outlook messages as a PDF Binder? Here are the features I had previously with Outlook 2013 and Arobat X pro. Thank you
Hello
XI of Acrobat and Acrobat CC, both are compatible with Windows 10.
However the only available version is Adobe Acrobat MS stop previous retail versions when there is a new version on the market.
He'd let you do all that it is a complete desktop version.
You can download it from the following link.

Acrobat 11 Office 2010 x 64 PDFmaker does not
Hello
I migrated to the edition of Office 2010 64-bit. I am currently using Acrobat Pro 11.0.3. In Word or any other office program, the Ribbon toolbar functions do not seem to work. In Word, I go the Acrobat Ribbon and click on create a PDF file. He will ask me for a file name and click on save, but it does nothing. It just goes back to the original document.
I run a repair on Acrobat and even uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted. There is nothing showing under disabled office items.
I understand that support 64-bit for the PDFmaker Office was added from 10.1. Since I am on 11.0.3 it should work. Anyone have any ideas? I couldn't find anything on Google.
Have you tried repairing your installation of Office 2010 from the control panel?

Hi Steven
You can try the methods mentioned here to allow add-ins to office in 2013. (They will be applicable to the 2016 office too):
https://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/KB/PDFMaker-unavailable-Office-2007-Office.html
Let us know if that solves your problem.
Thank you

Creator PDF crashes outlook 2016
Get very frustrated that the pdf creator add with DC crashes outlook 2016 whenever I try to convert messages. Have you tried the update to acrobat, update and re - install outlook. Have stopped all other add-ins to see if there is no conflict, I'm at a loss to know what to do.
Hi michgaud,
Acrobat XI is not compatible with MS Office 2016 at the present time, the PDFMaker applications and web browsers. Please wait for future updates.
Kind regards
