  Good so I have this laptop Dell XPS L502X that I bought in 2012. The laptop provided with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition.

  His output HDMI for my Sony LED used previously to work properly.

  But there are a few months that those offered by Microsoft, I upgraded my OS from Windows 7 Home edition to Windows Home Edition 10 laptop.  Since the upgrade, everything worked fine except I don't get HDMI output to my TV.

  I use an envy TouchSmart 15 and I just launched an update of Windows based on the automatic system update 8.1 (he ran 5 updates).

  Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps that you already have, and I say you are right that the issue is not with the HDMI cable or the 27 "monitor. From what you described in your post, it sounds as if he is with the drivers, maybe a conflict.

  I would like to begin with the installation of the original video drivers supplied with your laptop. I've included the document "using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8)". Please follow the steps to reinstall everything video original drivers. After you have installed the original drivers, restart your computer.

  Now, once the computer is restarted, you will need to install the updates that are available for HP and Windows. You can install both of them through the HP Support Assistant.   Where the HDMI wouldn t work, I would recommend you to retrieve the computer laptop back to factory settings. To do this, you must use the (medium) Toshiba Recovery disk or the HARD drive recovery procedure. Both procedures would format the HARD drive and therefore, you should back up your important data before performing the recovery.

  I just installed windows XP on my old Satellite 1800-100, but now my video output no longer works. So I just downloaded the latest version of the driver, but there is no way I can get it installed. According to Windows the new driver is more recent, so it won't let me update. And when I try to uninstall the display driver, I have to restart for the taking of effect and wile it restart automatically installs the standard driver again.

I have a unique model that contains the code in my header and footer called globalheader.cfm which gives the floor to cfmodule (see the code example below). Everything works, the only problem is that the debug output appear not. Debugging is enabled correctly and presents itself if I remove the tag to cfmodule call globalheader.cfm.   The culprit was the cfcontent tag. I used it to remove the white space. I didn't know it would affect the output of debug too. I commented and now I see Debugging.

  And the answer is: I had installed the latest drivers (and thanks to response above realize did not need graphics driver, although the HP site indicated as well), BUT the HDMI audio driver does not appear until I plugged in the TV, duh... I was not expecting to see the disconnected HDMI option  Once I have connected to the TV, it seemed. Subsequently, it does not show as a disconnected option.

  Lesson learned: after reinstallig, connect to the TV.

  I have Lenovo N500 42334 CG which provided nice output HDMI connected via a cable HDMI for TV LCD today, I tried to log in again, but unfortunately there is no video / audio on television the HDMI Lenovo, tried changing the HDMI sockets on my TV without success. BIOS reported by Lenovo diganostics is 6GET19ww (for the non-HDMI), even an inappropriated BIOS update has been installed on my Lenovo such that does not support HDMI output port more?
