  Windows 7 probably has the drivers for the card.  The latest firewire cards are included with the built-in drivers in Windows 7

  It worked fine in XP, but not with Vista. Ahh, the upgrade to Vista, what is so problematic?

  Hello guys

  Dad's right on the last driver for your model Qosmio but in my opinion Vista support is quite similar by most producers of portable and, AFAIK, it has nothing to do with hardware specifications but whose date of production.

  As you can see, Toshiba has made a sort of date limited and supported by all laptops made before this deadline will not be Vista. According to the specification for my 2 years old Tecra must not be equipped with Vista problem but I know that this model will never be Vista supported.

  Unfortunately Qosmio F20, G20 will be not just Vista WXP supported all installed models F30 and G30. :(

Anyway, I did a similar thing with the main menu, and fortunately this seemed to fix the problem.

  The reason why I wanted a stop was to return to the main menu. I realize that account my Blu - ray remote (and I suspect that most, if not all Blu - ray remotes) has a button "Menu of the disc" which dates back to the first game screen. My issue was related to the fact that I created a music video compilation. I made a playlist chapter-by-chapter basis, so that the user can simply hit ' skip/next' and it returns the user to the submenu where they came. I realize, this seems to be a fairly convoluted difficulty, but it was a member of this forum once posted, so I thought I would give it a shot.   Are you coming to my rescue once, but I fear it may be trickier.

  I have the joy of uber-beautiful widescreen which is a Satellite U840W - I want to use all of the 1792 x 21:9
  768 resolution for DVD / Blu - Ray. I use a Samsung Toshiba SE-506 as the Blu-ray/DVD, but I don't know what software to use.

  I used VLC and Powerlink DVD 10 software provided with the Blu - ray player, but so far, everything is not just the black border at the top and bottom, but it has also massively chunky black bordered on each side as well - certainly not what you want.

  The two pieces of software want to display at a resolution of 1024 x 768, which is why so much real estate is wasted.

  I got the impression of Toshiba that I would be able to use all the horizontal resolution and cut the top and the bottom - but no solution I found to this day allows.

  Interestingly, I tried to use Windows Media Player, but that does not even recognize that there is a DVD in the drive ready to play.

  Help me obi-wan-kenobis, you're my only hope for sanity.

  The reference of the battery (Mobile Mark 2012) says that you can run Notepad on battery (4 cell battery) for about 5 h 15 min... Up to 6 hours is a good value for you.

  HP Media Smart seems to have asked on 3-11, so I can only assume it is the latest version. Gawd knows where you fined the version number on it.

  When I put a Blue-ray disc in the smart software HP Medic works very well. I can see and watch the movie. When I try to connect my TV via VGA or HDMI I see that the menus and the HP Media Smart interface. There is just a black screen where the movie should play.

  The thing works very well for a regular DVD via HDMI or VGA... problem seems the disc blue ray only.

  Thoughts?

  Nevermind I got it. There are two ways to fix.

  The TV as the primary monitoring, or extend the desktop to the 2nd monitor.

  Well, I think I have it solved. I have plugged the HDMI cable and uninstalled the generic audio driver broke, then scanned for the hardware changes. Audio driver reappeared in the work and there was audio cable to the tv.
