Overheating, always wifi on, slow startup
Hi I had an acre of gift 5742. Its old aprox 2 years. Now when I used it, it was too hot. I use openhardwer and found it was 80 c. then I opened it and clean the vantilation and apply more tharmal spent on prosesor. now it was 60 some time go higher going 84. It's ok. What is a normal temperature?
When I got this laptop I noticed that the wify is still on. I turn off, but everytime I restarted it turns on automatically. I have reinstall the driver but this always happened. now what should I do?
my boot time is too slow. It takes 4 Mint to open. I use the restore and wipe data but it still the problem remains.
Please help someone
If I have the right processor, Core i5 480 m, Intel can indicate a maximum temperature of die of 105 ° C.
A post I saw said: "... it seems max 95 ° C (average) at 100% load. I called intel and they said that as long as the temperature is below 105 ° C, it is perfectly fine. »
It would seem that your temperature is well within specifications.
To turn off Wi - Fi, SPE key Windows + X.
Windows Mobility Center will open - click 'wireless Turn off.
This will remain in effect until you turn it back on (even if you restart or turn off your laptop).

G570 Intermittent wifi network / slows down as a whole
Hello. I have a Lenovo G570 and there problems of slow wifi. As soon as I opened the laptop, our entire network begins to have horrible download speeds and most of the time will not even connect to Web sites. My max download speed is about 50 kBs with this computer and even other computers/phones on the network, but only when that computer is running. Many times, the computer disconnects from the router but the router always present in available networks, but does not connect automatically, I have to manually connect to him. I contacted my ISP and they said that our internet has been operational 99.97% of the time, if the ISP is not a problem. I have a belkin router, so the router could be a problem. Simply, this started happening a few weeks ago, and it was a real pain, I thank you for the help!
Well sorry for all the display but I found the solution. It turns in addition to my Atheros card, there was a miniport Windows wifi #3 in the control panel network connections section. I disabled it and my internet started to work perfectly. I just uninstalled and my internet worked at a speed ever since. I hope this helps many people.

15 - ac151dx: wifi very slow when unplugged from charger
Hello
I have a new laptop of HP 15-ac151dx. Right out of the box, I noticed that the company becomes exteremly slow when I unplug the charger. As soon as I plug in the charger, the speed is very good. It works fine on a wired connection with the charger plugged in or unplugged.
So far, I tried the following, and nothing worked:
1. turn off the laptop, to reset the router, turn on laptop
2. remove the checkmark beside: ALLOW the COMPUTER TO TURN THIS DEVICE OFF SAVE tab managemnt Realtek RTL8188EE wifi power adapter. I also didi this on Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller.
3. went in the settings of advanced and equal "battery power" parameter settings "plugged in."
4. Rinse the DNS
5 reset the TCP/IP stack
6 driver adapter wifi update to 2023.18.814.2015 to 2023.27.1230.2015
7. update of Windows Ran
8. check the BIOS for power management setting, but can't find anything
9 exchanged the laptop - always have the same question.
Are there other settings that can I can check? Looks like a setting simple power management, I'm missing somewhere.
Thank you very much. In fact, it's a driver problem. I have done the following:
1 restore BIOS to factory settings
2 uninstall the WLAN driver
3. scan for hardware changes in the action menu in the Manager of devic
4 reboot
5 HP Recovery Manager--> reinstall WLAN drivers
6 reboot
7. HP support--> latest install Web site drivers WLAN

WiFi pilot slows down the closing of Windows 7
Since I installed the new driver for Ralink Wireless LAN RT3572, it slowed the computer "Shut Down" for more than two minutes, I can't compromise uninstall it because it connects to 3 times the speed of the former driver, is there a work around for this annoying question?
Changing the value of 'WaitToKillServiceTimeOut' in the registry did not a thing. Disabling all other programs and start-up services did nothing either, only by uninstalling the driver Wi - Fi done shuts Windows down without any delay.
Hello
Check with any 3rd part antivirus/security program where there is a conflict with a
of them. You can reinstall the driver and uninstall 3rd party antivirus then
Run the removal of its creator tool to see if that clears the issue. Use the clean boot method
to see if any conflict can be determined. (Even if the chances are, it's the driver itself.)MyEventViewer can be verified at the time of the event within a second or so of the

When I updated Firefox to version 32, he started to always show my tabs in the last session when it is started. I tried to change the "Startup of Firefox" option to all three of the available choices. None of them changed the behavior. It nevertheless opens the tabs that were open last. I waited for the next version (33.0.3), but the behavior is always the same. I would like Firefox to open my home page selected.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro.One possibility is that Firefox hangs during shutdown, and so Firefox is recovering from an accident each time. But if you can see it stop normally in your tests, which probably isn't.
Software sometimes external will create or update an optional parameters file named user.js. For some reason, one of the things that often turns in there is a preference to restore your previous session at once. However, because Firefox uses user.js to override your normal parameters, whenever it starts, which then turns into a permanent change. To check this and remove any file user.js, you find, try this technical support article: How to fix preferences that will not save.
A little luck?

Fiirefox gets slower at startup and now regularly informs me that; It returns me to an option that can "accelerate." When I select this option it asks to me re - define Firefox using a routine that is accessible by selecting "the Firefox button in top left of your screen" - there is no this button on my screen, I can't find anywhere else in Firefox.
Please, how find the button (i) "Firefox" or (ii) any other means using the "Firefox re - set" routine, and so speed up the loading of Firefox.
Haycorns Hello, the firefox button is not displayed in case you have the active menu bar - in this case just go to the menu help > troubleshooting information, then the steps are the same market, as described in the article: Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

Auto sign WiFi appear after startup mac
Hello
I click on network/forward, then I check all the boxes under "require administered or permission of": creation of computer to computer network; change network; activate wi - if on or off. Until I stop Mac, I turned off wifi. This means that, if I start up the Mac, the wifi sign shouldn't APPA, but it always appears with a grey signal.
c someone help me sort out of it, thank you
Thank you
system OS X 10.9 is late
but still, it appears with a grey signal.
This means that you have Wi - Fi equipment, but it is disabled. In some versions of Mac OS X, only the outline of the icon is displayed when it is turned off.
If you have no Wi - Fi hardware, the Wi - Fi icon will be grey AND have an X through it.

Satellite Pro A300-1E7 - slow startup
Hello
It takes more than 5 minutes for my PC to boot from by pressing the button to get the Vista desktop (Business) to appear. Can anyone suggest something to improve this unusually long boot?
Given the specification of the system, this seems a little crazy, especially when I started at the side of every portable specified and they take less than 2 minutes.
Thanks in advance.
Hello!
You have a lot of file and msconfig startup programs? This can cause a slow start at the top. Check it!
More I read it in the forum, sometimes useful for uninstall TEMPRO s. trying to remove it and test it.
Also what operating system are you using?

Satellite 2450-201: slow startup and shutdown
I HAVE A SATELLITE 2450-201 AND I RUN ON WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION, I DID A REGISTRY CLEANER EVERYBODYS USERNAME USING REGISTRY FIX 5.5
I HAVE DEFRAGED MY PC AND ALSO OPTIMIZED MY MSCONFIG STARTUP ITEMS AND EVEN THE BIOS UPDATE.
THE RESULT IS EXTREMELY FASTER WHEN I CONNECT AND ACTUALLY UNDER WINDOWS BUT THE SAME OLD VERY SLOW STOP AND START TO WHAT I DO.THE WINDOWS BAR GOING ALONG AT LEAST 15 - 20 TIMES TO HELP START!
Hello
Maybe you've connected to some external devices to slow down the start-up procedure. You can also try to disable all the hardware components you n t need (modem. IrDA). Also check out which device is defined in a first start time (I hope that the HARD drive).
For slow closing is responsible only running processes that should be forced disconnected. It all depends on your own configuration and you are using external devices.

R7000 WiFi fast, SLOW by cable/LAN - need help
I'm on a R7000 connected to a 6141 Motorola with Comcast. Provisioned at 100 Mbps + with Comcast.
5 ghz wifi, I'm 123 Mbps + speed, but on my LAN connections, the peaks at about 33 MB/s speed.
I fiddled with all I can think about, or discover, nothing helps. Tried downgrading the firmware = zero difference. I'm back on V1.0.4.30. I tried to disable all QOS and WMM, nothing.
What is going on? Ideas? This incredibly frustrating to be paying for that speed and get 25% of it on my wired devices
WOW - that was the Holy CAT5. Just switched my computers to a CAT6 and voila... from 33 to 125 Mbit/s like that.
Well... If someone has a prob with LAN's slow speeds, check your cables and get rid of the shit CAT5.

XP sp3 Dell Precision M4400 250 G HD (68% unused), 2.5 ghz, 4.0ghb, quad-processor, IE8. Do not have WAUACLT. Use ZoneAlarm anti virus/firewall, spyware scan and virus every day with ZA and Advanced System Protector.
XP takes longer and longer to start. I read the thread on MS Update c. Windows Update, but it's not my problem. Take 6 minutes to start, time is everything that happened after the desktop appears and 5 minutes to get/icons of shortcuts and function. I did the boot, it starts up quickly in the clean boot style v2 (no system services).
I ran an illegal product and have screenshots of the schedule and time open for all startup items. However, do not know how to post them here. The startup journal, I can't tell which takes all the time, it seems there are several startup items that take a lot of time, but I'm not familiar enough with the names of files to find out what they are.
Thanks in advance for any help that could be offered.
Manage your startup:
Open your Start menu-> click on run-> in the command screen type "msconfig.exe"-> in the "system configuration utility", click on a 'service' or 'Startup' tab-> uncheck all the programs you are no longer help.
