  I should have all Adobe updates as I have it set to automatically get updates, including RAW editors. I don't know how to check what is currently installed.

  CS4 does not recognize the S5Pro Fuji RAW files. Other posters have recommended closing Adobe Bridge on similar topics of discussion, but how can I see if the bridge is open? It is not in my taskbar or my task manager.

  You should be able to open these files, even with the shipped with photoshop cs4 camera raw plugin.

  (camera raw 5.7 is the new camera raw plug-in for photoshop cs4)

  You can set an option to open jpeg and tiff in camera raw (preferences edit/camera raw).

  On a Mac, I don't know which directory it should be in.  To see what is there open Help / about plugins / camera raw in Photoshop, then check what version is displayed.  There should be only one.

  I recently had a "burp" (it locked up totally and needed a hard restart) on my 2009 imac 24" with SSD.  Subsequently all my Adobe products including PhotoShop CS4 and Acrobat 8 will not load.  I am a retired professional photographer and have no need to upgrade to a cloud version of Photoshop - I've obviously been using CS4, happily, for many years and desperately need access to PS.

  With CS4, it load then just closes without a message.  I guess some file hidden by Adobe, which authenticates one product, has been corrupted.  I went on the forum and followed all of the suggestions it there with no luck.  I tried a back-up to before the problem of loading, but it did not help.  Can someone guide me to the file that I need to reinstall? or is there another solution?

  With Acrobat 8 it comes to ask the serial number (I lost as well as many other materials of office in a flood of last year) but does not request a serial number for CS4 (which I did not).

  You need to have the camera Tracker selected in the effect controls panel, you have not turned on hide layer controls in the view menu, you must be in the Active camera view in the Composition Panel and if all this is correct, you may need to increase the size of the markers to see. If this doesn't help, try studying upward, followed by the camera by typing in the field find help in the upper right of the AE and check on the training material.

  I try to use the new mask feature in Premiere Pro CC 2014 tracking and it does not work.  I use native AVCHD to a Canon C100 video.  Editing on a Macbook Pro for mid-2012 with the retina and OSX 10.9.3.  The project of GPU.

• Adobe Premiere Pro (CS4) does not

  My Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 crash on, gives me the message "Adobe Premiere Pro does not." I tried to cut, paste and republication of my clips links, which does not work. I seem to have trouble keep the other projects that are open as well. I have a lot of space on my C drive, as well as the external drive is on. (My recovery disk has only 1.15 GB of 14 GB of free, but I heard that it is normal to be complete).

  I saw on another forum, who said that the problem may also be electricity. I am in China right now so the voltage is different, but the program worked with my laptop and power cord for a while before she started smoking on me. (Also, I tried opening Prime projects just work off the battery voltage and they always crashes.)

• Place .docx in InDesign cs4 does not work

  I know I must be missing something very stupid, but this is the second project, I had this problem.

  My teacher told us to put our Word documents rather than copy and paste.  I have master pages with columns and text boxes.  On the page where I want the text, I did ctrl-shift-click to activate the box...

  I tried to place my .docx and nothing appears.  I don't get the cursor changed to who has demonstrated that he is 'hanging' there either.  I tried to choose the text tool and get the flashing cursor in the box text, then using the place and it still does not work.  I clicked on just try to hang on the slider, but nothing.  What step am I missing?

  There are a number of things that could happen. One is that the docx should start with a page break or an item that is too large to fit on the page, in which case it bumped to the next page or are not visible at all. Use the 'editor' mode to see if there is any text in the history, or find a symbol of overset text (a red sign in a box) in the bottom right of the text column.

  It could also be Microsoft Weirdness - I got used to simplify files in Word before you try to place them. Turn off "track revisions" and click "accept all changes" and save or even save again in the .doc instead of docx format in case there is something that hangs the Indesign import filters.

• Photoshop CS4 does not open RAW files

  This image is only a little more than 3 megabytes.  It's not quite large for a true CR2 file from your camera - they are normally over 10 megabytes, right?

  The raw file seems to be truncated.  Photoshop does not open, and the free software IrfanView will convert only the upper left quadrant.

  

  Regarding the recovery of the images, at least in part, you may be lucky...  Canon's Raw files contain an embedded JPEG preview image.  It is smaller than the size of the full pixel of the camera and in front in the file.

  Photo Viewer Windows 7 or the free software IrfanView will extract the JPEG embedded all of the image of the figure of the cat of this file.  You may use these tools to extract previews for use.
