  Cool phone, but is there a way to enlarge the notifications for calls and missed texts? On my previous phone (Xperia from Sony) Android notifications were a number (missed messages) that appears next to the icons of e-mail and phone in a clear and easy to see in a fraction of a second. With Moto G, notifications are tiny in the upper left corner. I checked the settings of the application and in general and see no option. If there is no other choice, I'll probably return the phone just because of that. (I have a week to do so free of charge.) Very annoying to have to check the tiny symbols or press the main icons just to see.

  Oh, I noticed the messaging widget, yet the short history of the texts is too large for the home screen.

  Can you explain your use more in detail? If it's just a counter and you tap on the icon to access the list of messages, then could not use the widget to email in the same way? See a few top of the page, then press go to full application?

  I use Launcher Apex - the paid version allows me to put meters on the different icons - so my SMS, Hangouts, icon of the calls has little badges numbers show how much I've missed. For me the number is not so important - if I see the icon in the bar, I State open the application. But I know everyone uses things differently.

  I googled this and checked the forums here but have not yet found a satisfactory answer.

  Here's what I would like my compact z5 to do:

  When I block my phone (the screen becomes black), if a text or by email or any other type of notification arrives, I want to see a preview on the screen briefly (it may disappear), instead of the little light that flashes on the top right. I don't want to press the power button to bring up the lock screen to see what comes to enter. Is this possible?

  I have the following settings:

  6.0.1 Android

  Notification - use LED light to show the incoming notifications

  When the device is locked - show all the contents of the notification

  Keep notifications on the lock screen - on

  Notification access - coverage style, on

  App notifications turned on, allow to look at the back and are considered to be priority

  I tried everything, not having any fingerprit/model on activating / disabling all the options mentioned above, but without success.

  Would really appreciate comments that she has been driving me crazy. I was looking forward to spending a garbage 7.5 Windows phone (I know, right!) to Sony with Android, but it's the ONLY feature I really, really liked on my old phone and would like to have here as well.

  Hello, I am using LightFlow for awhile control my led notification. He is able to transform the screen when a notification arrives. It is configurable for each type of notification and the screen at the time also.

  I have an icon 32 x 32 pixels of the home screen.  The meat and potatoes of the image is a circular graphic 30 x 30, centered on the image.  All the surrounding pixels are transparent.

  To implement some sort of notification on the homescreen, I superimpose a 15 x 15 icon in the upper left corner of the home screen of 32 x 32 icon and use HomeScreen.updateIcon (Bitmap).

  After calling updateIcon(), the icon appears cropped on the edge of the pie chart 30 x 30.

  This cropping only occurs when the notification icon is drawn on a portion of the icon to the home screen which has under transparent pixels (seems the operating system creates a mask by reversing the transparent pixels or something?).

  Any ideas?

  new blackberry... have the 9630 Tour and am very happy so far but I have a few problems with the Visual Voicemail:

  (1) the e-mail inbox voice Visual doesn't save new voice messages... I have to constantly manually "resync mailbox," even if I wait 20-30 minutes for a voice message record once I get a standard notification

  2) once I have listen to Visual Voicemail and delete it, the notification on the homescreen icon do not reconcile that they were listened to... even if I listened to their Twitter.com.

  (3) I would prefer not to receive 3 a new VoiceMail notifications in my main Inbox... I get notification of 1) icon on the home screen, 2) of the "new voicemail" message and (when working) 3) of visual voicemail.  I looked but can't find how to set a preference to filter these redundant messages.

  YES... Press the phone icon to get the phone, press the Menu, goto Options.  Select Call Logging, then choose 'None' will benefit more triple notifications, but missed calls still appears in the list of phone.

  With respect to the AVC and the Home icon reconcile... always disturbing.

  I rely on notifications for my work in the newspaper industry. I use so many apps like Twitter, Facebook, TXT Message, etc.

  When my phone goes into auto-lock mode and goes black, I still get notifications. The screen comes back to life and I get a notification banner for txt, twitter updates and facebook messages. I can't put my phone to stay unlocked for always as the longest option available to me is 5 minutes.

  Here's the big question. When I'm on the phone and the screen goes black, I stop get notifications. I hear the notification sound and the screen lights up to show my wallpaper, but the banner of notification never appears. I have colleagues who have exactly the same problem. If it is not unique to my phone. I confirmed this option to occur in several other people in my office.

  Please tell me that this can be fixed somehow. This is a feature I must have. So and if well I would buy an Android, if this is the new normal in iOS10,

  I keep ring/silent switch from my iPhone on silent all day, as I work in a space where the sound of notifications would be troublesome for others. However, this means that I miss all the phone calls I get, like the vibration is too low to attract my attention.

  Is it possible to silence all notifications except the ringing of the phone? The only way I can think to do is to manually disable sound notifications for each application. I hope that there is an easier way.

  No sorry... you should watch in turn on the led flash... This works when your phone is locked, and when you get a notification it flashes... settings - accessibility - led flash for alerts - suite.

  Try going into settings > general > reset > reset home screen presentation.

  I assume you have checked to see if you have muted notifications: on the iPad side switch - Apple Support ?

  Lol apparently Skype doesn't automatically follow default windows sound output after that I changed it once. Had to change speakers return to Spdif speakers in audio settings. Thanks for the tip.

  Every few seconds I get an annoying popup notification in the system tray area that informs me of the 'blocked events' these are events all IPv4 TCP or UDP. I really want to turn off these notifications, but despite a vast internet searching I can't find out how to do this. I tried the Action Center and tried the obvious firewall settings, but nothing will stop them. I find them very boring.

  I have a 12W NB200 running Windows 7 Home Prmium (a recent update from Windows 7 Starter Edition). -the problem occurs in both versions. Initially, I used installed but uninstalled McAfee security suite and am using 2009 F-secure Internet security suite for which I have a valid license.
  The system is connected wireless to my BT Home hub router and is connected through the homegroup for two PC. The other two computers are connected through ethernet cables to the router and both run on Windows 7 Home Premium with Avira internet security. I don't get the pop-ups on these machines.

  Which program generates alerts - are you sure its f-secure or would it be the widows firewall or mcafee? I don't know anything about f-secure (other than I couldn't find a manual 2009 on their website), but I would say that it will keep a diary of events and when you get close to the 'variant' that appears (and I expect clears) you will also find an option on the display of the event.

  Re my comment about this program is-are you happy that you have removed any trace of mcafee? Have you run msconfig and looked at the services and startup for any trace tabs? Also look in the Manager of tasks for all traces: in the services tab, click description to sort and search for mcafee from the similar description in the process but I think that you would have never had 1 entry of mcafee.

  I think that this should have been the first para. Have you created/modified the firewall rules? The log file must provide the ip address of the event source and which is in the range of ip addresses of your network domestic? and since you are a bt customer internet you have a bt vision pvr and who is the source?

  I was lucky enough to get a watch for Christmas I put in place perfectly on my iphone 5.

  Then, when I was doubly lucky to get an iphone 6 transfer the new phone was not quite as simple but the most annoying is that despite the deactivation of all notifications of activity on the new phone they still keep popping up on my watch!

  I tried to restart the phone and watch, but without effect.  I tried search it online, but the only advice I can find is to disable notifications on the phone that has already occurred.

  Am I missing something?  Any greatefully of advice received + all my apologies in advance if the answer to that is blindly obvious.

  Check that Bluetooth and Wi - Fi are activated on your iPhone:

  -Phone: Settings > Bluetooth - on.

  -Phone: Settings > Wi - Fi - on.

  Check that your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected:

  -When you show the time on your watch, drag upward on your watch dial > drag left / right for the look of settings > check it shows connected and shows a green phone icon.

  -Turn off the airplane Mode if it is enabled.

  Check the settings on your iPhone:

  -On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > activity > turn off each one: Stand reminders, reminders of course (set to None), goal achievements, achievements, weekly summary.

  If the problem persists, try to logout and re-matching of your watch:

  -L'app shows on your iPhone shows backups automatically, including a new when the unpairing via the application.

  -Choose to restore the watch (backup restore) when provided the opportunity during the whole. Most of the data and settings will be restored, with a few exceptions (for example cards Pay Apple, access code).
