    Hi Frank,.

    (1) what is the operating system installed on your computer?

    (2) you have a Windows operating system installation media?

    If you have a DVD of the Windows operating system and you are using Windows 7, I suggest you follow the steps given below to perform a startup repair in the Windows recovery environment (WinRe) and check if it helps.

    To run auto repair on follow computer Windows as follows:

    (a) Insert the media (USB or DVD) and restart your computer

    (b) F12 key (usually it's F12, but it may differ between computer manufacturers) and choose the drive in which you inserted into the installation media.

    Once the Windows Setup window appears, follow these steps:

    (c) click on next and select repair your computer starts.

    (d) the Startup Repair will now scan your computer to try to find and solve any teething problems.

    (e) click the button reboot to return to the Windows login screen.

    If you have additional questions, feel free to post. We will be happy to help you.

    How can I fix? I don't have a boot with computer disk so I need help thank you!

    Hello

    • What were the changes made before the problem occurred?
    • What is the brand and model of the computer?

    You can view these methods:

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to start your computer in safe mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 2:

    If it is an OEM computer, Startup Repair is a recovery preinstalled on your computer option:

    1. Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

      Click the button start , click the arrow next to the button lock , then click on restart.
    2. Do one of the following:

      • If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

      • If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to repair, and then press and hold F8.

    3. In the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight repair your computer and press ENTER. (If repair your computer is not listed as an option, then your computer does not include startup as a preinstalled recovery option repair).

    4. Select a keyboard layout, and then click Next.

    5. Select a user name and password, and then click OK.

    6. In the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem and, if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs.

    Try this:

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit
  • (Redirected) Latitude E5520 Boot issues
    I turn on, the screen shows Dell logo as he begins, then it goes to recovery error Windows, then Windows boot manager who told me that if I did not contact sysadmin etc startup disk.  It displays the status: Oxc000000f, whatever that means.  I hit the Enter key, and it brings back me to the recovery of Windows that won't let me do anything.  For information about the Windows boot manager he also says: the boot selection failed because a required device is not accessible. I ran diagnosis complete and checked everything as being correct.  So, basically, I can't go past these two screens.
