  • Application of recovery disc creator don't run / not working

I was hoping someone could help me I want to create the DVD for my system recovery disks, but the application does not work. I installed IS the path '"C:\Program Toshiba Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator\ToRDC.exe' ' does not exist. I run it and nothing happens!

Anyone know if I can download it or re-install... I can't find out how?

I have no error or anything, it does not work! Laptop is Toshiba Satellite.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    Satellite you need exactly?
Folder HDDRecovery is available on the second partition?

This tool cannot be downloaded. Now, all you can do is to install the OS by using recovery recorded on the second partition image. I hope that it will work.

When you start your laptop, tap F8 and choose repair my computer option. Follow the menu on the screen. After the new installation of the operating system, you will be able to use it again.

  • Created recovery disc is ok, but does not start Satellite A300

    Hello
as the title suggests, the disks fail to start, details below formatted for reading easier (I hope :))

    -All-new series Toshiba A300
-J' have created a disk of restoration with the toshiba utility, there was no error, the files are there but the drive seems to be unbootable.
-This happens with both attempts, I made, using Verbatim r and Sony + R media.
-The recovery disks will NOT start on my desktop system either.
-L' laptop starts fine with a couple of distributions Linux on CD - R.
-J' use F12 to tell the laptop to boot from the DVD.
-J' have much experience dealing with the LiveCD, bootable disc burning, etc., so I'm inclined to think there is a problem with the toshiba utility.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

There is certainly nothing wrong with the Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.
I burned the recovery disc too. Once it failed because I did not use fully compatible DVD. Then I tested it with TDK - R and everything went well.
No errors, nothing. Finally, I booted from the DVD and could reinstall the OS too.

I presume that you should check the other DVD.

    Good bye

  • Error recovery disc on the Satellite A200 - not enough of space

After reformatting my laptop toshiba recovery disks will not reload windows because it says that I don't have enough space on my hard drive.

The error message is the following:
There is not enough space on S3A6134D502. You need extra 2.34 GB to copy these files.
    S3A6134D502
    Free space: 1.42 GB
    Total size: 1.46 GB

It seems that he has created a new partition which allows to load windows on the partition being too small.

Problem is that you have modified the standard settings for the recovery procedure.
First partition on the disk HARD is called WinRE partition and this partition has a capacity of 1.5 GB.
When you start the recovery procedure and simply click OK or NEXT all went well.

I guess you have chosen configuration option and click on the second option to install the operating system on an existing partition.

What you probably want to do is to install the OS on the C partition only in the second hope or all other partitions will not be deleted or formatted. Right?
I tested several times on P200 and A200.

It won't work then only option is to erase the whole HARD drive and before recovery installation starts all existing data and partitions will be deleted and formatted.
So before you begin installation OS Backup all important data and install OS without changing anything.

  • How to get a hp 4600 Color Laser jet print on a vista or Windows 7 64 - bit OS PC which does not have a parallel port connection?

My hp 4600 color Laser Jet uses a parallel cable to connect to a Windows PC. When I had XP as the OS it worked fine. But now after the upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 64-bit OS it will not work and my PC does not even recognize it when it is plugged into the PC with the parallel to USB cable that worked so well before. So, what should I do to get the PC to recognize the Hp 4600 and have it printed again as before? (My first plan is to try to get the printer to work by hooking up through Wireless. Does anyone know if it will work? I'll answer my own question, if it does. Wish me luck! (Thank you!)

According to the HP support site, there are drivers available for Vista and Windows 7 If you're lucky it. Download the appropriate drivers for your computers. According to the information of product from HP, this printer can be connected directly to the network by an ethernet cable. I don't see where it has wireless capability, but in any case ethernet is preferable for printer connections if possible.

Connect the printer directly to your router or switch connected to your router and assign a static IP address outside the range the router DHCP. Then, install the drivers that you got from the HP website for your operating system.

  • When you try to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7, I got this error message "do not have permission to open the file. Contact the administrator. »

I bought Windows 7 two years to upgrade my Windows Vista laptop. The upgrade went well. In November, my hard drive reported a failure to come so I took it to a technician to replace my hard drive and reload everything. I didn't have the product key for W7 so they have recharged to factory install WVista. Last night, I bought another copy of W7 and installed. When the time came to 'Unpack the box' I got one "don't have permission to open the file. Contact the administrator. "message. I found a solution in a post since 2009 and followed the instructions to the command prompt: sfc/scannnow. The scan came back with no violation of integrity. I don't know what to do now.

original title: hang up administrator permissions.

Right-click on the configuration, the exe file and select "run as Administrator".

  • My Mac has stopped at random to send and receive text messages. Any thoughts?

My Macbook Air stopped randomly send and receive text messages today. All software are up to date on my Mac and iPhone, and transfer of text messages is on my iPhone. Don't know what to do!

You may have been signed off iMessage on your Macbook Air for some reason any. To check, open messages on your Macbook Air, click Messages at the top of the screen, then click on Preferences, tap accounts, click iMessage and login if you are not yet connected. If you try disconnecting and by signing insert it again. This should solve the problem. Let me know if this helped!

    Hello

Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator is a tool of Toshiba that created the recovery disk available on HARD drive recovery image.
It s NOT support tool like Ghost, etc. that allows you to create an image of your operating system preinstalled.
If the Toshiba Recovery files are not available on the HARD drive then the Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator will not work!

    Welcome them

  • How to recover my computer to factory settings? How to buy recovery discs and which ones?

I recently bought a used computer on craigslist.  It's a HP Pavilion a6700f.  He came originally with Vista, but the previous owner installed Windows 7 32 on it.  I want to put it back to factory settings, but I can't seem to do it without the recovery disks, which I did not.  I have tried F11 at startup, but the system recovery won't be open in this way for a reason any.  I tried to buy HP recovery disks, but they only for Windows Vista 64-bit.  I'm not sure if my computer came with Vista 64 bit or -34, although she has 34 bit Windows 7 right now.  How can I recover the computer to factory settings?  Can I buy the Vista 64-bit recovery discs and use them?  Will they work?  Thank you.

    Hello

The command system will work for you given that provide you the product id of your machine. Please use the following link, it should tell you that the original operating system:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bph07143

    Good luck.

ps. Based on the following link, its original operating system was:

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium with Windows Media Center with Vista Service Pack 1 (64-bit)

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&TaskID=120&prodSeriesId=3823602&prodTypeId=12454&ObjectID=c01612528

Therefore, it should work with 64 bit.

  • When I try to make the recovery discs I get 'Sonic PX.dll not found'

I check the box 'create a recovery disc for future use.

On the next screen, I get the error message "Sonic: PX.dll not found."

    Help would be appreciated.

    Hello

You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer using the recovery disks do.

Your computer manufacturer has implemented their own recovery discs manufacturing process, and is not a process of Microsoft Vista.

You can, with some manufacturers still buy recovery discs.

    See you soon.
