P1606dn install 2 printers

I need to install 2, P1606dn printer on the same router wireless so 12 members with laptop computers with Microsoft operating systems (XP, Vista, W7) can print to a printer. Smart Install works during the installation of the first printer but fails when I try to install the 2nd printer. Can anyone recommend the best way to install the printer 2 once the software and drivers for the first printer has already been installed?

If you already have the software on the computer, you can generally navigate him thorugh the START menu. However, must be the full setting (link above) software to have the ability to add an additional device with the same drivers. You can run Setup from the link and it will only add another printer. It will not create data erronious if there is already a copy of the package on your computer.

In addition, the software linked above is more recent and more compatible than the software on CD and has a high degree of functionality with programs and newer operating systems.

Happy holidays!

  • Have 2 Photosmart 5510-e printers in different homes. How can we install in our computers as well?

Have 2 Photosmart 5510-e printers in different homes. How can we my husband and I install two printers in our computers, so we can print on Photosmart 5510 - 1 in a home and Photosmart 5510 - 2 in the other. We have installed a printer to the computer of my husband and the other in mine, but impossible to install two printers in a computer.

Hi, just so I'm clear of I'll try and clarify that I think that is that you are trying to do.

You have 1 computer and 1 1 printer in the House

You have 2 computers and 2 2 printer in the House

You want to be able to print the home computer/printer at home 2-1 and vice versa.

    Can I declare the above?

If so, there is a way to print on a printer from two places without having to install two printers on both computers. It's the ePrint Service whereby you can print emails and attachments to an ePrint printer by sending your message with attachments to the e-mail address of unique printers.

Have you enabled Web Services and obtained two unique codes printers (which doubles as their respective addresses with the suffix @hpeprint.com)?

Otherwise here is a useful link with information on how to HP ePrint help & tips

I hope this helps you with your problem, but if not let me know and I'll do my best to help

  • Printers are lost after installing updates and could not start get error 1053 service print spooler service message has failed to demand launch or control in a timely

Original title: print spooler does not - error 1053 - Windows 7

I have a HP Pavilion dv4-511 with Windows 7.  2 weeks ago I ran a Windows Update and all my printers installed have disappeared after a reboot.  I did a system restore and they were all back.  Yesterday, I installed an update to a software (Soonr) and it's the same thing.  I clicked on the print spooler service to see if I was able to restart and got the error 1053 saying "service did not respond to demand launch or control in a timely." If I click on "Add a printer" in the menu devices and printers, I get the following message: "Windows can't open add printer."  The local print spooler service is not running.  Please restart the spooler or restart the machine. "I rebooted the computer and the same thing continues to happen.  I did a system restore and the printers are all back.  It seems that every time there is a change to any software, it creates this problem.  Help, please! Thank you.

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

When the updates are installed, the printers will be lost and when you try to start the print spooler service, you get the service saying error 1053 has failed to demand launch or timely control.

The problem may occur if some system files are corrupted or because of malicious content.

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: File system (CFS) Scan Checker

SFC scan will find all missing or incorrect system files and repairs them.

    See the site:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Method 2: Scan the computer to remove all possible malicious content

    See the site:

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx .

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, let know us and we would be happy to help you.

  • Install printers not been displayed in Windows 8 devices and printers

  • How to install 2 different HP printers with a LPT Port

    Condition:

I have two HP printers.  LJ1320 and DeskJet 1120c

Both printers are connected to a parallel Port (LPT3)

LPT3 is connected to a manual parallel switch box.

I want to install two printers in Win7.

When I install a printer (it seems to make no difference which one is first); He moved very well on LPT3.

However, when I try to install the second printer on LPT3. Windows seems to overwrite the first printer installed.

Should what procedure I use to uninstall completely the existing (screwed) the printer settings?

How can I reinstall the two printers so that they move independently, but both will use the same single-board LPT installed on the PC that is running Win7?

    Thank you

How do you install printers? I suggest going into the file devices and printers, right-click on the lj 1320 printer and select "Remove device", then do the same for the DJ 1120.  Now add a printer, a local printer, LPT3: then select the HP Laserjet 1320.  Complete the installation.   Then do the same for Deskjet 1120.

I don't have a printer (or an LPT3: port on my computer), but I just use the above procedure to install two printers on LPT3: no problem.  I usually have half a dozen or more printer drivers installed on the same port and have not had problems with it.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 909 a will not be re - install Mac 10.7.5

I am very frustrated with this issue, I'll have. Here are the bullets:

    • Running Mac 10.7.5 (Lion).  Printer is connected to this computer through the USB port.
    • Has started to receive messages on my all-in-one HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 909 a scanning would work not and check the documentation for the aid.
    • While looking online and through some troubleshooting, I deleted my print printer to attempt to reinstall fees.

The main problem I encounter is that I can't seem to re - install this printer no matter what I try.  Here's what I tried...

    • Tried to launch the HP (ver 2.3.15) CONFIGURATION UTILITY and DEVICE MANAGER HP (1.5.8) that was installed on this machine for the printer.  When going through the Setup utility, my device is not seen, so it is considered for a screen and then I invited me with a message that says that my device is not supported by the installer and I had to go to hp.com/support for more help.
    • When I go through SYS PREF > PRINT & FAX and try to click on the '+' to add a PRINTER, the printer never shows in the choice of 'default' as being same / connected.
    • When I go to find help on the support site, the indications only can I find tell me I should use for the Lion, update the Apple software to download the latest update (which I'm sure has already downloaded on this machine in the past).  Tried to restart my Mac, reboot and disconnect all the wires between the printer and Mac, to see if it would work the update of software this printer is connected.
    • I scoured the HP website to try to find the "utility installation hp for lion" install file, but it doesn't seem to be available as a manual download - each direction pointing right back on software updater.

It is where I am at-I feel like I'm stuck in this small black hole where I can't use the HP Installer on this machine b/c it is too old and I can't download something 'new' of Apple Software Updater.  I did go to the Apple website and download the drivers for Mac OS x Mountain Lion & Lion. I have installed for this machine, restart and still nothing that shows this as a connected USB printer.

    Help, please.

Okay, choose the option to format before xp begins to install, the rest is automatic. In addition, do

  • 0001 0002 error message when you install printer drivers

I get the 0001 0002 error message when you try to install the drivers for a Canon Pixma MX892 printer. Five different Canon representatives tried to find a solution - nothing works. (It seems to be a Windows error message rather than generated by the installer of Canon).

The error message appears when a) using the disc of Canon or the drivers of its Web site; (b) after a reboot selective; (c) when the Norton firewall is disabled; and d) each combination of a) through c). It also occurs when

The exact time wherever it occurs during the driver installation process is when Setup "enrolled in the program of information."

Is the exact wording of the message: an error has occurred while files were copied: 0001 0002.

I am running Vista 32 bit and download the drivers using Firefox 18.0.2.

After you have installed many printers without a hitch, it drives me crazy.

Like you, I thought it was an Epson printer software installation problem and went bought a Canon.  Still I can not install two printers software.  The Epson and Canon customer service can not helped at all.  That's when I decided to contact Microsoft.

Yes, I paid for the premium service, and I am pleased that they have set all my PC problems.  Takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete the work. I firmly believe that it is worth the money, in my case.

In any case you can try this free fix by running Microsoft FixIt from this link or copy the address into your browser-

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/mats/windows_file_and_folder_diag/en-SG

I had also used this FixIt several times since to 'fix' everything OS files were inadvertently corrupt or have "disappeared".  Good luck.

  • Software printing will not be re - install

Have a Photosmart C7250 and included software became corrupt so I uninstalled it.  Downloaded the last full package and tried to install, he thinks the system it is always installed and even if it goes through 4 steps, no software is installed when you are finished.  I suspect one incomplete uninstall as reason.  Print driver is there, but scanner software and HP monitor is no where.  How can I install the complete package?

I tried the cleaning brush included on original floppies, but it did not work.  My software has been updated over time, so I downloaded the latest version and found the cleaner as shown in the answer below.  It worked!  All the remains were removed and I had a clean install and printers and software works better than ever.

It may be good to recommend the latest version of the scrubber since HP update running, many packages are updated automatically and may require the latest version of the scrubber.

  • 0xe0000100 error code when you try to manually install printer drivers

    Hi all

I am running windows 7 Home premium 64-bit edition. I am trying to install the drivers manually for my brother HL-2040 printer, as he was unable to do it automatically.

When I plug the printer to try to download the drivers but find that there is none is available. Then I went to the Windows 7 Compatibility Checker, I found the drivers and download.

I then started to install. 0xe0000100 error message came at the end of the installation. Despite the drivers being installed it is somehow not recognize them as being installed in printers and devices to say that there is none for the device.

I then rebooted and tried to do it again. The same error message appeared.

    Help, please!

    Hi Stacey,

First of all I suggest to remove the printer installed on your computer and follow the steps below to install the printer on your computer and check if it helps.

    Step 1

Make sure print spooler service and the service of dependency for the print spooler service is set to automatic and started.

To start the print spooler service and set it to automatic, follow these steps.

    1. right click on computer and select Manage

    2. in the console that opens, scroll down the menu Services and applications

    3. click on Services

    4. double-click on the key of spooling print

    5. in the 'Général' tab, go to Startup Type

    6. set the value to automatic, manual or disabled

    7. to activate or deactivate the service immediately print spooler, click on stop or start

    8. click on apply, and then restart the computer.

Once you follow the steps above are trying to install the printer and check if you are able to print.

    Step 2

You try to run the printer troubleshooting utility built into windows 7 and check to see if it helps you to solve the problem. To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. open the printer Troubleshooter by clicking the theStart button, then clickingControlPanel.

    2. in the search box, typetroubleshooter, then clickTroubleshooting.

    3. its, and underHardware, click on use printer.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

If the steps above do not contribute to try to connect the printer to another port and check if the printer is detected automatically and installs the driver. Later, try to print and check if it works very well.

I hope this helps. Let us know the status.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • My printers are not displayed in devices and printers

When I click on devices and printers appear none of my printers.  I need to remove a printer that is installed on a computer crashed accidentally got checked as a default printer.  When my used printers appears and I deleted a printer he would show back up again.  Now, I'd be happy if I could see them listed.  Windows runs to look for, but no icons never appear.

I need to access my list of installed printers to manage!

    I'm confused.

Each machine can have a different default printer - so why would you need to remove the printer to a device has crashed? The fact that the aircraft crashed had a particular printer as default does not affect any other machine.
You are now working on a new machine?
If Yes, have you actually installed your printers? (Are they not magically...)
  • Printer will not install on network

  • Windows 7printer install D1520 HP or Lexmark X 9575

I bought a new desktop computer with Windows 7 Home Premium.  It's a machine E, large memory, lots of bathrooms, etc..  My two printers have always worked without problem with previous versions of Windows, XP Home & XP Professional.  I tried several times to install these printers, installing & removing the driver files available for download on the site of Microsoft/Windows 7 on & above.  Never work.  Then I read somewhere in the help files that the HP Deskject 1500 series and Lexmark 9500 series were part of Windows 7, that I didn't need a CD & had no need to download anything.  Whenever I try this, Windows puts on my desktop setup HP error correction & when I use that, my system crashes, I have to stop it manually then it opens in safe mode.  The only way I can get this working is to restore to an earlier Date, which is the hour exactly, just before I started this frustrating journey in the Spiderbeam.  I have Windows 7 issue, you would think that society would realize people would be there trying to install their new & old printers, but for some reason, it simply does not work.  I'm ready to get rid of my PC, my printer, & say goodbye to windows & go buy a Mac or Apple or something, because it's driving me crazy.  Why there must be these problems with such a SIMPLE thing, I've done many times with many other systems not only myself but friends and their parents as well.  There are of course a variety of error messages, but nothing that will allow me to understand what the big secret to big to install 2 perfectly good printers.  Some are the errors: "Printer Spooler service is not ongoing enforcement" and the error then another said '0x000003eb.  If I try to install it several times (the 64 bit version for each of them), it will crash, a blue page comes, tells me there is a problem with what I'm trying to do, I should 'disable BIOS caching & occultation' and then he made a kind of dumping - it's all too confusing.  It tells me to restart my system the first time, & the only way out of this must manually, press reset, in which case it opens in safe mode, in which the only way I can get the computer time work again is to restore to an earlier date.   Any suggestions before I head for the trash.  ????
