  I managed to convert this WSvr2K3 with an earlier version of VMware Converter (version unknown - disappeared today and didn't is more free to download).  Now with VMware Converter 4.3, I made 6 attempts, and they fail to 19%. ESXi 4.0 host and the original client OS is WinXP.

  Of course I would appreciate some suggestions.  Is the MethodFault::Exception: converter.fault.CloneFault the problem?  And if so what does that mean?

  Windows 7 (Sp 1) fails to update anything, including files I download and run (for example, IE 11) with "unknown error."  I try to run the update utility, and it is unable to find a problem or error reports 0 x 80070057.  Sometimes the IE 11 update report 9 59, but update does not install updates.  . Help, please.  I don't even know what information to include in this req

  Please follow the following steps:

  1. click on Start and type regedit, and then press enter.
  2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate. Delete all values with this code 0 x 80070057.
  3. restart the computer.

  If it does not work, you can also reset the Windows Update components.

  Let us know how it goes.

  Hi, we're starting everything just to P2V of our servers and start easy (I thought) qith our WSUS server. Every time I start the job fails on 98% with the error "error: an error occurred during the reconfiguration. I tried to re-boot, I tried to tell the wizard not to include a disk which is compressed. and I tried making minimal changes to the settings all with the same error...

  I don't know what to try next...

  I have attached the diagnostic logs in the hope that some kind soul can point me in the right direction...

  HM, looking more carefully at the newspaper these lines are strange:

  --> tar:. / var/log/memcached.log: invalid rare archives members

  --> tar:. / var/log/memcached.log: file changed as we read it

  I do not have this file in my RHEL5, but my guess is tar fails because of this. Other messages of tar are ignoring sockets unix which is not a problem. So, do you have idea what this file is, it is currently in use, can you stop the creative process or just restart with no logging at the moment of conversion?

  The agent on the source computer must be able to connect to the destination ESX port 902. You can check your firewall.

  Also check if the source computer can correctly resolve this internal IP address.  In the contrary case and the ESX has a different IP address, you can try conversiom to ESX directly entered ny external"IP". However, if it's ESX 5.0 you should detach of the Victoria Cross, in the opposite case, converter will give an error.

• Creative clouds AE warning: unknown exception

  I get an error in my AE (I use subscription cloud creative)

  The file that I use has an extreme zoom on 2d objects take the position of the camera for a map of the world and with the help of a country as a new background for the next part of the scene. The error seems to occur at roughly the picture where she completed its zoom. I do not currently plug-ins. Quite natural after effects.

  I can't isolate any single layer which is the origin of errors. I tried to remove different layers to see who is corrupt or causing the error... I seem to even get the error when you export the sequence after the removal of all layers!

  After that happened, I decided that this must be the real sequence/comp which is corrupt. I copied all the layers in a new comp and of course the problem emerges in the new composition around the same time of the zoom.

  What other things can I do to debug this problem so that I can make the file?

  I am able to play the file in full if I put my viewers magnification to 50 percent but not able to make regardless of this setting to GUI.

  The artificial camera zoom seems to be the room once I put it in too far the origin of the problem.

  OK, so the "broken coat" was one that I had traced while zoomed in.

  (The camera zoomed in to a country so its quite a zoom.) I have an image of a person that I drew during this zoomed version in. I remember that it is very difficult to draw while the camera was enlarged)

  I fixed it by copying the layer in a new comp, scaling up to 4000% take a screenshot of it with a green background plate - making again, keying on the plate and then scaled down to 0.5% and put it in 3D, so its now a raster, not a vector.

  Creates some slight pixelation on the edges of the image, so if anyone knows a good fix for this problem I would still like to know!
