  We have several bold9000 in service, use of Google Desktop version 4.6

  I'll answer my own question:

  in the section "Advanced" on the login screen, remove the checkbox 'use default notes.ini file', and then manually search the notes ini file that is in use on this computer. It should then automatically fill the username etc, then the ID should be automatically used (or he should be happy to accept that he refused before) and must be accepted.

  It's strange, I certainly put the user name and the server name correctly when you enter them manually. In any case, it worked.

  Working in the field of e-Discovery, we often met of Lotus Notes NSF files that are in need of repair / corrupted.  The typical practices include running nFixup, nCompact - c and nUpdall - r.  Can anyone provide solutions of third party for repair of NSF they used effectively?

  Already, we have another tool to recovery, but discovered after buying it supports Lotus Notes 6 and below, who meet with us only very rarely.

  Is there anything else someone uses that they have found effective (and complete)?  Some solutions out there claim to recovery but lose attachments or other important information.

  I use Windows 8 and I installed the Windows for Lotus Notes search plugin, but I don't seem to be able to search my email of Notes? Is there something I need to do to configure Windows Search to work with Lotus Notes?  I see that the index includes the location of the data of my Notes folder.

  It is not possible to search for emails of lotus in windows search, because the mails are stored in the server. Windows search can only search for files located on your computer, not on the server.

  I hosted lotus notes server and citrix servers in the DMZ segment of the asa. Access remote vpn has been configured. Users use vpn to access the servers. Users are not facing any problem when they try to access citrix and other servers after the connection to the vpn.

  But when they try to access the server lotus notes using lotus notes client after authentication are not able to view their mailbox. When they try to telnet to the port 1352 it is successful. When they ping to the server works very well. But not able to view emails. That is to say the server does not.

  I updated the entry of the host also in the files of the host of the client computer. But users of windows 98 operating system is able to display emails. But not in windows xp.

  I downloaded archive VMware Converter (autonomous) "Converter-4 - 146302.tar.gz", but have not yet installed all this anywhere.

  I can't find anything in the VC on the converter, beyond that the plugin is installed and activated, so I guess that I don't start the conversion process.

  The converter is supplied with a server, a Client and an Agent.

  Simply install the Agent on the physical Linux box I want to convert, the Agent and the customer, all three pieces or what?

  Once I have some parts I need installed on the physical area Linux, start the conversion from here, or from the VC or what?

  OK, this isn't really as complicated as you make it to be:

  1. you ran Setup on a machine that can reach the source and the ESX on the network.  You are trying to install 'this' or ' only that. "  You install.  The only difference between a "local installation" and "installation of client server", is that it allows you to install the client on another machine and control the Converter on this other server machine.  Maybe it's not necessary for you, but it does not hurt so I always do.

  2. you start the Client of converter (vmware-converter-customer) on a machine where you installed everything.

  3. you choose the IP accessible (from ESX) the source for the source power Linux machine remotely.

  4. you select the target ESX (or the Victoria Cross, but there is really no point, you can simply point directly to the target ESX).

  5. you enter a static IP address of VM for assistance if necessary.

  6. you look at the progress meter and see the conversion complete.  You don't need to worry about what anyone else unless you have a firewall preventing circulation.

  I have a 8130 for awhile and it works very well using DM 4.2 SP2. I had the storm on Friday and tried to be updated since then. Here's what I tried in order.

  After I had the storm I have...

  4.2.2 removed off of my computer. 4.7 installed. Storm connected.

  Result = DM will not let put me in my notes by default connection profile box in the "instead of" in the "Lotus Notes Login" dialoge box at startup.

  4.7 deleted. The clean uninstall procedure with some registry changes noticed on the site Web of Blackberry. DM 4.2 RELOADED. 8130 reconnected. Connected to the Notes. Do you have a synchronization. 8130 disconnected. Installed DM 4.7. 8130 connected.

  ' Result = could not specify profile fitting of Notes in the box "instead of" in the Lotus Notes Login ' box of dialoge on starting DM.

  After some trial and error, I am able to get all instances of DM uninstalled and allowed out of my registry. Then load 4.2 DM and get my 8130 to work. I am able to install 4.7 itself or on top of 4.2 but the result is always the same. DM is not able to connect with Lotus Notes.

  Someone has seen something like this before? Someone at - it suggestions of things to try? I'm going out of my mind here trying to get this thing to run.

  I got to produce an aid package for a new internal application built around a Lotus Notes dabase. Users are on a large network with Unix, Microsoft, Domino and Novell components. They all use Notes for email and shared databases. And, of course, they use Web browsers, and many other applications not built in Lotus.

  I didn't have to do something special... everything has been done in html and stored in Domino by its structure. I've had many nested "subdirectories" but no problems. Everything was accessible by browser on the Web with no processing server - side everything was daily html that the browser is concerned. The only thing you need to know is the URL 'House' where your work is accessible.

  If 100% internal / intranet and all the pages are rendered in Lotus, roughly the same applies except that you will need to test any dynamic functionality and scripts.

  If the ADMINISTRATOR is all good, just give your project generated download in Domino.

  I am using Notes 8.0.2 and using the Desktop Manager to synchronize contacts and calendar.

  After the upgrade of your handheld S/W, released last week, the Desktop Manager synchronization crashes when it tries to read the lotus notes calendar. For this, the address book with no problems, but when it starts to read the calendar notes, it crashes.

  I have used other sync software that accesses the calendar notes just to check my notes calendar was not inaccessible for any reason whatsoever and that worked well.

  If it's a version management issues with Notes 8.0.2 is there a way I can go back to the previous version of the portable software that works well so far? Otherwise, any suggestions to solve this problem?
