  Specifically, this setting LOG_ARCHIVE_START is obsolete in 10 g. You must also enable archiving with

  archive log start

  Just switch to an archive also brings the archiver since 10g processes :-)

  I did a complete reset of my ENVY 17 laptop and now whenever I try to re-activate Windows 8 Pro that I reinstalled using the USB recovery, I get error:

  I have Microsoft Suppot had called and were told to contact HP (manufacturer of my pc. Someone at - he met sam and how wa it is resolved?

• Parameters specified by step do not match the settings of the sequence

  I just upgraded from Teststand 4.1.1 to 4.2 and have encountered this

  problem during the review of the existing sequence files.

  When I open a file of sequence, select any stage of type sequence call, which calls another sous-séquence

  in a different sequence file, I learned that the parameters used do not correspond to those required.

  To be more precise, in the settings area of the stage, a red exclamation symbol appears at the side of the

  subsequence called step, and the ToolTip is displayed when the mouse pointer is

  hovered over the exclamation point States:

  "Parameters specified by the step do not match the settings of the sequence."

  The ToolTip goes on to explain how to solve this problem by clicking on the exclamation symbol.

  I find also that by deselecting the "Prototype using sequence" tab in step Settings\Module

  solves the problem.

  When the sequence is executed, no problems occur with execution, the test performs correctly.

  Is it possible to clear this error for each sequence call not in one operation?

  My apologies to attach a file of sequence buggy. I forgot to pass a parameter to the LoadPrototype method to preserve existing settings. I have attached a corrected version of the sequence file. I changed to update SequenceCall not only because of potential problems, reloading the DLL prototypes.

  I would try to explain why you see cela TestStand 4.2. The additional results feature, we added to TestStand 4.1 needs to know what parameters are entered, output and input/output (i.e. what settings is pass by reference). Before TestStand 4.1, step of calling sequence does not store this information but rather dynamically got it and it appears in the column how go. Now that we store the past by reference with the step option, you can have an inconsistency between the option stored in step and the current setting of the sequence called. This inconsistency affects only additional results and not execution. TestStand 4.1, the sequence editor to not warn you on these inconsistencies. We have added the TestStand 4.2 warning so that you will have the correct information for additional results.

  When TestStand 4.1 or 4.2 load a file of sequence from a pre-version 4.1 version, TestStand sets cervical optionally reference true for all parameters in the call sequence steps. This is why you see the warning for any sequence calling step created TestStand 3.5 If no parameters are not passing by reference. You can also see the problem if you change the option collar called a reference parameter in the sequence.

  I'm running a server KMS on Windows server 2012 R2 and I have enabled more than 300 PC and servers.

  But for some reason, can no longer trigger the new PCs and servers. They get 0xc004c008 the activation server determined that the specified product key cannot be used.

  Nothing has changed on the KMS server and I do not see where the KMS host key could be used outside of the host itself.

  Since you have already activated this product key, the server displays the key as being in use. Simply call the Activation Center and activate manually settle.

  1. press the Windows Logo key + R. This will bring up the run dialog box.

  2. in the Open: box, type slui 4 and press OK. This starts the manual activation wizard.

  3 select your country from the drop down and click Next.

  4. the wizard displays a toll-free telephone number. Leave the wizard open on the computer and call this phone number.

  You will receive a few saved options. Select the option to speak to a representative.

  The representative will manually activate this system for you.

• 4.6 Server issues matching connection security

  Hi all

  We use 4.6.

  Is the only way to associate a server with another server of connection security for uninstall security server software, remove the Console from the administrator of the view security server, and then reinstall specifying the desired login server?

  Is it possible for two security servers to be paired with the same login server at the same time?  Thinking through what I do, maybe I need to have this scenario for a little while.

  Finally, if I want clients that connect through one of my servers to connect to establish their sessions RDP and PCoIP directly with the Office of the VDI, after authentication, etc., do I just need to uncheck the boxes on the configuration of this server connection who say "Secure usage on the desktop connection Tunnel" and "Use Secure Gateway of PCoIP PCoIP connections to desktop"?

  The Security server is matched during the installation process if you need to reinstall in order to re pair the SS with a broker for connections.  You can also have several SS paired with a single connection broker.

  Yes, unchecking the boxes would cause a direct connection.

• P2V - W2k3 Server - issue of TS Panel

  I ran a P2V over the weekend.

  Phycical server is a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server, which is used as a Terminal server server.

  I actually ran the P2V a few times.

  The P2V seems to complete successfully; but when a domain user logs in they can not open Control Panel.

  Once they try to open it, the screen seems just blink and then returns to the original screen.

  If I give them Admin rights, they can open the control panel.

  Anyone seen this before?

  Give each temporary rights radmin can temporarily solve the problem; but it wouldn't be safe, and it is not actually solve the problem.

  The question may be symptomatic of something else.

  When the archivelog destination is DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST, archivelogs are stored in the Flash (or Fast in GR 11, 2) recovery area. In this case a specific internal naming algorithm is used and log_archive_format is ignored.
  No need to worry that Oracle knows where to find the log files.

  A must:

  The following basis for archiving of recovery logs, listed at least recommended options:

  1. enable archiving in the area of fast recovery only and use mirroring of disk to create the redundancy necessary to protect the archived redo logs.

  If DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST is specified and no LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n is specified, then LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_10 is implicitly on the recovery area. You can override this behavior by the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_10 parameter to an empty string.

  2 enable archiving to the quick recovery area, and set the initialization parameter of other LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n located outside the area of quick recovery.

  If an area of fast recovery is set up, you can add the area of quick recovery as a destination of archiving by setting any parameter LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n LOCATION = USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST.

  3 set the initialization LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n don't archive in parts of area of recovery not on PURPOSE.

  We have a print server W2k8R2 and we want to use only the HP - UPD (PCL5/PCL6), for all HP network printers.

  Some printers alongside some with PCL5 PCL6. Printing from Windows is no problem on PCL5/6.

  But we ge issues with printing form a particular software (Compuware Uniface).

  The printer works with PCL6, everything is ok, Windows/Uniface.

  But if the printer works only with the UPD PCL5, we get a few small problems.

  -WIndows print jobs

  Uniface - print Don t: instead of the text, we get only a special character (@7\? *'´_ -! %&/\} [])

  and it's unusable and useless

  What is the difference between PCL5 and PCL6? because in Windows, it works.

  Can someone help me?

  In this case, if it is only with interactions with this specific program, then it is likely that this program is not designed to be used in the way that you use it in. If the printer does not have any problems with other functions or applications, then the software and the mechanics of the printer work properly. The problem seems to be that the program you are using is not properly able to communicate information to the machine, and what information gets the machine is not able to be understood by the printer.

  Is that correct or is there more information that might change the analysis of the issue in this case?

  Is there a way to WRT1900AC to open a specified range of ports in the range of the specific destination ip address? I can see the options to open a port range to the local IP address on the LAN.

  You use a VoIP devcie or is this T-Mobile phones through the router?

  If you have a VoIP device as a microcell you can just put its IP address in the DMZ.

  You can try to set 0-65535 in triggering Serial Port and see how it works. I use this for Xbox games and reach the status of nat OPEN for games.

  I'm hoping to get your comments around the issues of dhcp, I faced with two centrally switched Wireless LAN. I have attempted to explain the installation and the problems below and would be grateful if anyone can suggest a solution for the problems I am facing:

  The configuration is the following:

  -J' have a WLC 5508, which has been configured with 4 SSID, of which 2 are the Central authentication and commissioning.
  -J' have a LWAP connected to the WLC in HREAP mode.
  -WLC is configured as a DHCP server for clients that connect to the SSID "Guest." For the rest, I'm on external dhcp server.
  -Only one scope of comments Interface is configured on the WLC.

  Problems:

  1. as far as I know, to WLC serve internal dhcp server, it is mandatory to have the proxy enabled, but the Clients connecting to 'Internet' SSID are

  Unable to get an external dhcp server ip address, if the proxy dhcp is enabled on the WLC. If I disable the proxy, everything works fine.

  2 DHCP does not release the ip addresses assigned to clients, even after that that they are connected.

  3. If a machine that has previously been connected to "Guest" SSID connects to the 'Internet' SSID, he asks the same ip address, he was charged by the WLC assigned under "Guest", it gets the tag with the Vlan configured on the management interface.

• Error 16, Terminal Server server issues

  Purchased a perpetual/serialized/volume license. Correctly installed by using installation on the Terminal Server mode. Remote users get error 16 and then the application closes. Running as Admin does not resolve the issue. They can open the program. It takes a little, and then closes with this error. I noticed that under "Admin" who installed the app, I can see the name of Adobe identification code in the upper right. There is a connect button that does not work on users.

  If I keep Acrobat launched as part of the Admin session, it seems that users can continue to use the application without receiving the error 16. However, it is a problem because it's a manual process to do this every morning. I noticed in fact just that as mitigating the issue since this morning, so I'm not 100% it has lessened, but it seems to have.

  I tried to delete all Adobe products (Flash, Air, etc. etc) and reinstalled only Acrobat itself.

  Any help or advice would be amazing.

• How to p2v server with FC HBA connected disks?

  IM new to vmware.

  Our ESX 4.0 environment is connected to an EMC CX4 via CF system.  I cut a couple SATA LUNS and attached to our ESX environment and have successfully P2V had some servers on data warehouses, I created on these LUNS.

  Now, I have a server that has 2 FC HBA connected to a brocade switch.  This server has its 'E' drive mapped to a LUN SAS on the CX4 by fiber, using EMC Powerpath.

  I want this server P2V, but once that one would P2V, how to reconnect the drive "E"?  Can the VM also use the HBA using the ESX servers?  (don't know how I would want that area...)

  Can I move the LUNS for the server in the same zone as the LUNS ESX and they use a ROW for this virtual machine?  If I do this, VMware reformat this LUN?

  Any advice?

  Yes, it's exactly what you can do.  Formatting of this storage wouldn't be a problem if you tried to add storage as a data store, as opposed to add as a RDM.

• Issue of parameters: encode iPod tweeked used to synchronize to the touch

  We used these settings below in the compressor, the same definition in Media Encoder 5.5.1.12 (ME) and the README file resulting sync with an iPod Touch from iTunes. (tested only with the touch 3rd generation)

  Additional parameters in ME: Hand, 3.1, get depth Max, quality rendering using Max, VBR 2 pass-1, 45-3 Mbps.

  As I understand it, is not the official Apple spec, but it works in the compressor.

  Original files are a project published in first exported 5.5 format ProRes HQ 1920x1080p

  Tab encoder compressor

  File formats: H.264 for Apple devices (by default, m4v)

  (Default) device: iPod/iPhone VGA

  Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (640 x 360)

  Frame rate: 29.97 default

  Flow: 1500 Kbps (real final encode w / audio is 1714,42 Kbps)

  Audio: 256 Kbps, 44.1 khz

  Frame synchronization: 5.0 seconds

  Options: 'multi-pass '.

  Sounds as if it was the value which has been shifted upwards the iPod then. Glad to know that the problem is solved.

I agree with you, to a certain extent; There is a design problem that values speed and the size of the image can be valid for the new level when the value is changed, the application may need to meet the demand of the user in some way. The current behavior is to change the size of the image at any time value, the value is changed, and it is unfortunately a rather blunt, overall solution. We could do better here to make it easier for the user.

  No, there is no order of passage in gamma on the release of the SOUL.  Feel free to file a feature request if you want to see such a thing in a future version.

  You asked above also lost matches to detail when transcoding HDV to ProRes format. I don't have a good idea about what is going on. Post some samples would help, but you can also ask for more in the Premiere Pro forum, which gets more traffic than the forum of the SOUL, and there are probably more insight with this type of workflow.
