P50 - a satellite: enable airplane mode to disable Wi - Fi always

Hello

Earlier by mistake, I press the button of the aircraft on the keyboard, so WiFi is disabled, I click again to activate it, but I can't turn it back on! I tried to disable and re enable it. but it's not working!

unless you uninstall the driver WiFi Device Manager and re install again.
_So the problem is solved for me, but this isn't a solution to uninstall the driver and install it again. _

Kind regards

Thanks for this report. I put t know what machine you have but I ve checked several times on my Satellite U940 and everything works correctly.
I use F12 to achieve and airplane mode will be enabled correctly.

Please let us know what model of laptop you have so maybe someone with the same model laptop can post comments.

  • Turn off the power of airplane Mode?

Hi, I have a T440p and it seems that the package dependencies of parameters Auto-setting Lenovo updated sometime in the last few days. Since then, whenever I pass in airplane mode to disable Wifi, energy mode gets automatically changed. Is it possible to disable this? The release notes say "added the registry settings to disable the functions of automatic detection of the power plane Mode." If someone knows where is this registry setting?

  • airplane mode disables mobile data.

I realized on my mobile that, once I have activate airplane with mobile data mode, it is not turn off mobile data.

It is always on wifi turns off.

If there is a way to disable mobile data automatically with the airplane mode?

    Yes, I had there.

It is the nature of Android itself and as I said, when you switch to airplane Mode, the Mobile data is indeed disabled but not to the OFF position.

    Hope that clarifies everything!

  • Cannot delete the airplane mode

Even when I turn off airplane Mode on my phone, it remains on my watch. Mirror of my iphone is not really

    Hi Peter

It is possible to put the flight to be mirrored between the devices, but the same does not apply to get off airplane Mode, that needs to be done separately on each.

To change the setting for mirroring of the turn on airplane mode:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > General > airplane Mode - enable or disable the iPhone, to choose mirror.

When the watch is in Airplane Mode, Bluetooth and Wi - Fi turned off, so there is no way for it to receive additional instructions from your iPhone (including a statement to exit the airplane Mode when the mode on your iPhone).

To turn off the airplane on your watch Mode:

-When you view the time on your watch, drag to the top of the lower edge of the watch face > drag left/right to the gaze of settings > press airplane Mode to turn off the mode > slide down on the screen to exit the looks.

  • Satellite C50D-- Changed mode of function keys - can't change it back

I have a Toshiba Satellite C50D-A, with Windows 8.1 who bought earlier this year.

Recently, my function keys mode changed somehow and I can't seem to restore. When I bought the computer that the Fn button should NOT be pressed to use the special function keys (brightness, volume, etc.), however, now I have to press the Fn button to use all the special functions and since I have yet to use the F1 - F12 keys on a regular basis, it is quite unrealistic and all simply boring.

I've already stepped into the Toshiba system settings set the keyboard special purpose and gone back and forth between the two functions several times still nothing helps.

I return all system settings by default (as special function keys were my fault) and that didn't work either.

I'm sorry is very long, but I'm at my home and I would like to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for all replies :)

    > now, I have to press the Fn button to use all the special functions

This means that the special function mode is disabled.
You can enable it in the BIOS or in the Toshiba System (HWSetup) settings

To access the BIOS, you will need to press F2 when starting the unit.

  • Dell Inspiron 17-5748 Airplane Mode is not turned off, WiFi and BlueTooth turns off

I may have made a mistake in believing Dell had together when I upgraded to Windows 10. I can not connect to any Bluetooth device and no WiFi at all. Laptop remains in Airplane Mode and it cannot be cut.

I tried all the options I know to correct the problem, except to 8.1, that I can still do since I have had nothing but problems since his arrival at 10 Windows.

If return to Windows 8.1 is a viable option, even if that would mean reinstall all my programs, I guess it's a solution.

Worse, it is now is no longer under warranty and I'll have to pay for support. I'm hoping to find a viable solution here.

  • Airplane mode turns off (continuous WiFi turn on)

    I have this problem.

I can not activate airplane mode because after a few seconds it shuts itself.
I noticed that this is caused by Wifi. Every time I have disable Wifi (or activate airplane mode) comes on again after several seconds causing Airplane mode is turned off. Although bluetooth remains off.
Does anyone know any solution for this?
The computer is DELL XPS 12.

    Hi Robertas,

Some computers have the ability to enable flight WIFI mode. You must use the help file on your computer to know how to turn off wireless. Dell computer mostly for example using the function keys with a turn on that radio icon.

  • Apple Watch series 1 (38mm) - battery drain in airplane mode

    Hello

I've had my Apple Watch series 1 (38mm), on Friday. So far, I really like and love what I can do with it. Never thought I would do so many things with it :-)

However, I've lived a strange behavior... To save battery, I turned today into airplane Mode while I was at work. It was just in my coat in my locker. So I use it and it has not moved for 9 hours... I left in there with battery to 90%... when I'm out, he just got 50% left... This is way too much.

Background refresh is disabled, I just installed 2 apps... also I just the icon weather stock on my dial of the watch. Not much in the dock or the other.

Maybe it's a bug of software? Or is my watch may be defective?

Restarted and will need to examine more closely, when its load to 100%.

Anything else I can do for now?

    Hello

I left my iPad 2 Air in the plane by mistake.  The iPad is in flight mode.  I used the function "Find iPhone" and put the iPad in 'lost' Mode and 'Play Sound Mode '.  My iPad has Wi - Fi.  Lost iPad functionality will work in airplane with Wi - Fi mode?

Have you tried to contact the airline to check if someone has found? But to answer your question: no, that won't work. Airplane mode disables all related to connectivity.

  • Problem with Toshiba Tempro P50 - c Satellite

Hello! So I was constantly doing this review of Toshiba Tempro saying that I did read some messages. He said that I had not read two messages (that of April, the other may), but I had. Regardless of how many times I opened Tempro and read the messages, he kept saying that I didn't.

A few days ago apparently got another, and now it says I have a message to read it (so I guess that he scored the other two as read).

I have try to disable Toshiba Tempro, but it starts again whenever I restart my laptop. I don't think it's because the computer (a P50 - C Satellite) is not working properly, because it is only a few months old (I bought it in April).

How to mark messages as read?

If this is not possible, how do I disable way permanent Toshiba Tempro?

    Hello!

I have the same system as yours, I also noticed the same messages (even if I opened the in Tempro). What I've done and what you have asked is disable.

Open Toshiba Tempro, on the left side at the bottom, you will see "turn on or off the Tempro. If you click on it, you have the choice to select 'Disable Tempro'

  • Applications do not work in airplane mode

    Dear,

I moved from Android over a year ago. My first cellphone with Apple has been the iphone6, and I was really surprised when I realized how bad behavior iOS performs when airplane mode is on. you are no longer able to be operational, gmail does not work and whatsapp or. in fact, Whatsapp performance in iOS is ugly, still suffering delays then with end user experience agitated and frightened. I used to prepare / write lot of messages in whatsapp during a flight, so as soon as I land and connect my phone all messages are automatically sent. With iOS I don't have this behavior, also to work on the staff of the station. with Android, I can do all these things.

a reason for this? (I know that iOS is not Android, but it is very requested and useful behaviour)

    Kind regards

Airplane on iOS mode, these wireless features are disabled:

    • Cell phone (voice and data)
    • A Wi - Fi connection
    • Bluetooth

This means that you can not use Gmail because there is no data connection. Once you turn on airplane Mode, you can turn on Wi - Fi back by going to settings > Wi - Fi.

I do not use Whatsapp, so I can't say if it will work on airplane Mode or not. Check with the support of Whatsapp.

  • Turn on airplane Mode is not stopping being delivered text

    Hello!

I tried to work around this problem for hours now, and I would really appreciate the help! This is my first time on the Apple Support post, so please bear with me while I try to offer as much information as possible.

Exactly two hours ago I accidentally sent an audio recording embarrassing someone. However, as I acted quickly, I was able to activate the mode of the aircraft while it was still trying to send him, and the bar went from blue to green.

However, two hours passed, and the audio is still trying to be sent. It does not say that it has not been delivered, and I fear disable airplane mode and try something else in case the second I do audio recording are sent.

If it makes a difference, the bar is pretty close to hitting the right part of the screen, but it isn't completely there yet and has been in this post for what feels forever now. It says, "sending...". "at the top.

In addition to having kept my phone in airplane mode all this time, I also restarted (pressed the lock button on top) which made no difference.

In addition, Wifi and iMessage are disabled, while I turned on the MMS messaging to see if this changes nothing. (He didn't).

Please help me! How turning airplane during the sound recording mode (it was only a second long) was still in the sending process has not prevented to be delivered? (It's still in "sending... ("process.)

Any ideas about what I can do here?

It is in Quebec to send and end the process the minute it reconnects to a network. It's design in case, for example, you've lost the network connection to a time for some reason, your message will resume sending as soon as possible.

I have no idea how or even if you can stop it now that never turn your phone on. You could try powering on and outside, or try a reset. In the extreme, you can go into the General settings and clear content and settings, wiping everything off your phone and then restore your backup later.
