• Office AIR packaging errors

  I am trying to package an application for office and keep getting errors. I tried all three formats (Air & EXE), and several different build of the AIR sdk. (15, 4.0.0 3.8, 3.6). I use the Adobe CC Windows software.

  Ideas about why this is happening and some suggestions on how to fix it? (there is no error of the model in the Simulator)

  I can usually get the package to compile, but it will not install and I get the error to install there asking to contact the devleoper.
  

  Apparently, the problem was related to the overall file size or the size of the an assets.

  I've been using a FLVplayback component linked to a mpg 45 min / 600 MB (or flv). I think I've seen work by attaching a file smaller in build, but rather decided to solve the problem by linking to the larger file, which is hosted on a server. Not the best solution, but it works.

  SO, if you get these errors check the size of your file when troubleshooting. Although I can't give a specific size acceptance - I think it's maybe about 500 MB.

  Because you have qnx tag in the file. Remove and everything in it - this tag and content belongs to blackberry - tablet.xml. Validator of Adobe (which gives you an error) air does not recognize as a first class citizen, then put all of the additional tags in the additional xml file.
