  Hello! I would like to ask a question on the simplification of workflow that is walk around in my mind for years:

  Is it possible to replace an element in the project with a sequence Panel?

  The reason why: I have a music-video with LOTS of cuts between relatively little overall clips. For the adjustment of the colors in the first (or otherwise), I like to keep as much space for easy modifications as possible until rendering and so create a sequence for each clip where I apply these effects at once. In this way, I don't have to go through each occurrence of the sequence in my calendar to change the rating. While this works well if you have done the part of each movie clip before the cut, I have no idea how to achieve this easily once you already have your project cut with clips instead of clip-sequences.

  Is there another way for the effects "on the scale of the clip" that I'm missing? Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

  Hi - I am trying to open a Premiere Pro file I was working on yesterday and am getting the error message "this project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No preview of the sequence is preset file or codec might be associated with this type of sequence... "I also tried to open the file where I had worked the day before and made no changes to, that is the source for the file modified yesterday, and it gives the same error message. Help, please. I'm on the next-to-last version of Premiere Pro, I don't have a day in the past two weeks, but I am currently in the previous version. Windows 8.1, 16 GB ram, i7 3.4GHz. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

  Thanks for the link, John T., but it's not having the latest version of office installed CC. As I'm in the middle of a project, I have not yet put to update to the latest version of CAPRINE contagious pleuropneumonia, nor any of the other new versions. Apparently, the new version of Office CC is required for authentication. Could someone suggest to people from Adobe which is perhaps a more telling error message: "You must update your desktop creative cloud app."?  Thanks for the help.

  First of all, I'm a bit of a novice user in the teaching of science. I use this software to deliver the anatomy & Physiology TP laboratory where I take a sequence of images from several angles of an anatomy model and use the image sequence feature in InDesign to link them together so that the student can drag the picture on the iPad to rotate the image and see the issue from several angles. This worked very well with v29 and students loved it. However, with the v30, with just a light tap of the image, it quickly reverses through many images, almost randomly, after the coup. This makes all our efforts on the worthless 3D appearance. I can't use one of these rotating images now until this problem is corrected, or tell me what goes wrong. Any ideas?  To learn more about how I have this set up? It works fine when I preview the file on my laptop. This is only on the viewer Adobe iPad application (which is used in the classroom).   I use RoboHelp 9 with WebHelp output.

  I have five outings, which one contains help for common functions, while the other four contain help for modules under license. When a user opens a module under license assistance, the user sees the soul help and authorized assistance. In addition, the files are conditionalized so that the unauthorized search a help licensed module brings nothing.

  I have been solving problems with the previous topic and the next topic which, thanks William, I learned are associated with browse sequences. After having tried various configurations, I have a few questions:

  • HR support a sequence to travel alone in a project, even when the project has several outputs & fakes?
  • If HR supports a sequence to browse only, does that mean that there is no way to create a unique navigation for each separate output sequence?
  • If HR supports several sequences of travel, which is the workflow?

  I also maintain a table of 'master' contents which contains all the modules, frequent and without a license. What I've done for now is to autocreate a browse sequence based on the table of contents "master." When I generate the output of a module under license, which is conditionalized, I only see the table of contents for this module and, therefore, can only travel between books and subbooks for this add-on. I also checked that the subjects that do not appear in the module conditionalized as for another module licensed, do not appear in the list of search results either.

  You also questions about the functional differences between WebHelp and WebHelp Pro, so let me explain.

  I know only two major differences other than (the additional benefits of analytical feedback reports) and the management of 'Zones' with authentication in RoboHelp Server.

  1. The behavior of browse sequences as explained above
  2. The fact that the categories of content are not supported in WebHelp Pro for this latest version 9.

  In regards to sequences to browse you try to anticipate the various modules (licensed, etc.): multiple browse sequences are included in an single . File BRS. Sequences are defined in the XML code in the single file.

  As a solution (for WebHelp and WebHelp Pro), you could create a Help.brs of the NPM. that you have already created a module; then backup and archive. Then create a change for the different module before generating again. The Help.brs of the NPM. will need to have the same name as your project, so you will have to manage the .brs desired file in the project folder when you build this version. All your other choices (table of contents, Index, conditional tags, etc) remains the same for the respective modules.

  Finally, I notice that you generate apparently WebHelp Pro right now even if you are not published on the server of HR? This is really not the best practice. You must generate WebHelp plain for a web server that has no HR server on it (even if you can be getting away with it). Regarding your concern about "breaking" something; each output is placed in another! SSL! folder automatically when you build, so you should be able to generate WebHelp without interfering with the release of WebHelp Pro. Then, you can republish on the HR using WebHelp Pro Server, whenever the server is ready.

  Just a question:
  I teach students how to work with Adobe Premiere Elements. In this way I experienced a small nice auto-message. If a user uses a projectsetting which does not correspond to the images he or she is important, APE9 give a nice little warning. Chained with the question to automatically adjust the project settings for the parameters of the film. Not only it works very well, but projects that have a red bar ontop of the scenario now seem to have problems of rendering at least, therefore, the system works a lot faster.

  Now:

  I understand that when shooting with a professional camera and editing with Premiere Pro, most users know what sequences corresponds best with the sequence settings. But sometimes (.. .and maybe it's just me who experience this), I get images from strangers. Knowing exactly what the parameters are. Even though I know that the user has shot the film using a Sony XDCam format, there are a lot of options to choose from.

  That guys would tell you, if there was an OPTION (so, not itself), to have a standard sequence, then put the pictures in it and then click on the option (context menu-> Auto adjust the image sequence).

  I like it, but good, maybe there already is a better way, in this case: I'd love to hear from you!

  He is a. drag a clip to the button new item at the bottom of the project Panel (it's the button that looks like a chipped sheet). This will create a sequence of parameters of the element and place the clip inside.

  You can also right click on a clip and select new sequence Clip - which is in CS5.5 only, however.

  Hello!  I'm working on a big project today and I am importing images by hundreds.  Is there an easy way to import an image sequence in the timeline?  I remember it allows to be with older versions of flash, but I can't understand it for CS4 - Fortunately these images are named sequentially.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  I confirm what rothrock said with cs4. should work fine. Select an image to import to the stadium and you should get the alert 'sequence '. Then each image will be added to a next keyframe in a single layer.

  How many photos? If it's a big project with many effects and
  transitions, it may be too complex for your system resources.

  Are the photos all JPEG (.jpg)?

  Convert pictures in Windows Bitmap (.bmp) image may be worth a try.

  And... before trying to save... it may be worth trying to go to...
  Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and uncheck the box 'all' filters / OK.

  According to the number of images, quality images and delay between each picture, you could probably get away with just using a QTimer.

  Although I have not tried with cascades/bb10, I did it with older BBOS and almost never ran into performance issues...

  in a nutsheel to store a table of images then set up your QTimer (e.g. all the 1 second) to display images in this table using a circular counter.

  Today, I was delighted to see the newly implemented for PremierePro proxy workflow.

  Unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to apply this workflow for image sequences.

  Is this possible?

  Background:

  We do not stop motion animation and all our images always comes into frame sequences with each frame being 20 MP. We want to keep the resolution up to photo-serrure, because we would like to keep the possibility to crop and zoom into images.

  So far, we have created lowquality of sequences of images as proxies (in the same resolution) and they use them for editing in a FullHD timeline, where we can evolve and frame (and of course change) images. After picture lock replaced the original media. Once the images is online and the harvest is final, we create a FullHD prores file for VFX and editing.

  But this process is error-prone.

  When I now import a sequence of images in the creation and create a proxy for her, a mov with only the first image file is created.

  Which is obviously useless.

  My question:

  1 would it not possible to import a sequence of images and create a sequence of images of proxy (with the same interpretation of the images, i.e. of framerate) from the original image sequence?

  2. the sequence of images proxy perhaps erred in lower resolution (original image in format 5760 x 3840 px, resolution 1920 x 1080 proxy), and once I pass the proxy to original scaling is adjusted accordingly.

  Really looking forward to some tips to achieve this!

  I had a little further:

  I made a mistake by creating templates in the MediaEncoder:

  I created a coding model and not a model of ingestion (who both the end of the .edr file), which should in fact have been obvious.

  So now I have:

  1 has created a file of 5760 x 3840 Prores4444 out of sequence of images

  2 imported the first PorRes4444

  3 creates a proxy using my own template (ProRes 422 Proxy 1920 x 1280) with aspect ratio 3:2.

  It works, BUT:

  When I play the file on the timeline proxy, the proxy file is adjusted differently than the original file (proxy disabled), but only during playback.

  It is probably a completely different question, I'll create another post for this.

  Here is the problem that everyone has seen before, but with a twist. Me and my friend are both using Premiere Pro 6.0.5. I saved the project and sent him the files. She finished the project and exported in Media Encoder properly. After encoding the project could not be opened on his machine. The error message "this project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No preview of the sequence is preset file or codec might be associated with this type of sequence" was given. However, I opened the project successfully with no problems on my machine.

  I would like to know if there is a known issue to have the Premiere Pro and Media Encoder is open at the same time (I never exported in Premiere Pro).

• When I scroll through the mask of image sequence does not follow the layer of the timeline?

  Another problem. I simply scroll the image sequence and you can see on the screenshot that the mask remains where it was in the beginning. I applied red tinted effect (just to show you), and it does not stick to the station when scroller is at the end of the timeline which is say that the mask is not to follow. But it should, because the mask is the image sequence. Why? Please take a look.
