Page Web scrolls to the bottom of the page

Original title: scroll, scroll, scroll and I can't make it stop!

When I open just about anything on the internet, it starts to scroll to the bottom of the page - then stops - try to go to the top - it scrolls everything right down... If I try to go to your Favorites and open a site it will just go up and down on the Favorites and to be really quick to grab one - I have not been able to catch the correct one in a week - not fast enough - so when I opened another, it scrolls to the bottom of the page and I'm not fast enough to read the top of the page!  Help!

Hello

1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

2. what web browser do you use?

3. This only occurs during internet browsing using the web browser or with any other application?

If you use Internet Explorer, please follow the steps mentioned in the link below.

This could be linked to the "keyboard navigation" function, which moves the cursor on the page when you scroll with the arrow. Or maybe in this case jumps around things on the page.

    You can enable the use:

    • F7 key
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > general mini-onglet > uncheck the box 'always use the buttons cursor to navigate through the pages.

    Hello

Well, I don't think it's a hardware or software problem. I'm sure that it s a question of Web site. I put t know why you have trouble with this Web site. Maybe you have changed some settings in Internet Explorer. If you are not able to scroll through this Web site, you should ask the owner of the site for the solution.

    Best regards

  • I scroll to the bottom of the page, all (words, pictures, etc.) moves to the right and becomes illegible.

only on Mozilla Firefox is what is happening. I refresh the page, everything becomes legible, but when I scroll to the bottom of page, that everything is deformed once again, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Mozilla, has not set. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Hey CarolAB1962,

We try to identify the root cause of this issue. Can you provide us with information GPU/driver? Thank you!

  • I've updated to v22.0 and after installation of my policies seemed to have changed, I now have to scroll to the right to see the entire web page, what settings have chgd?

After the upgrade to 22.0 my web pages no longer seem to adapt, and I need to scroll to the right to display the page. The police seems to have understood more great. Any ideas on what may have changed with my settings? Thank you.

    Hello

Firefox on Windows is now after display, scaling options that can make the biggest text on screens at high resolution.
You can adjust the resolution of your screen.
To change it follow these steps:

    • Type of topic: config in the Firefox address bar and hit the Enter key.
    • If the warning that this might void your warranty , click I'll be careful, I promised.
    • Search for layout.css.devPixelsPerPx

    • Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to edit its value. The default value is - 1.0 in Firefox 22 and above. Change it to 1.0 to run as in previous versions of Firefox.

If necessary, further adjust the value of 0.1 or 0.05. Values between 1.0 and around 0.5 to reduce the size of the elements. Use a value greater than 1.0 to increase the size. For example, a value of 1.25 will increase the font size of the 125% to account for the default DPI setting in Windows 8. Check the value that you enter. Definition of a value that is too small will take everything away and too high will explode things.

If the web pages should always be adjusted so you can watch the extension Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint .

To adjust the font size for the user interface, you can use the extension of theme font & size changer .

This solve your problems? Please report to us!

    Thank you.

  • Extremely slow in all directions. Typing, loading, handling and even just scroll to the top of the page to the bottom. Is getting worse. Frustrating Maddingly! Help!

Firefox has been extremely slow. Typing, loading, search, even just scroll to the top of a page to the bottom. My daughter had the same thing happens to sound and had to get his computer disassembled and full recharged. I don't have this option. He doesn't have a virus and was completely free of anything that might slow it down.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

Is a month ago. It is getting worse.

Hmm... try to download the last version... but if it doesn't, then try Safe Mode. Do not know what could be causing it...

  • Page begins to jump and scrolles to the bottom of the page.

I had a poblem with my computer, try scrolling to the bottom of the page.  It happens in all programs.  For no reason I can see that page just started jumping up and down and scroll down.  The only way I found to stop it, so far, turn off the computer and restart it.  It works for a while before that happens all over again.  Anyone have an idea how I can stop that.

  • On some files, such as Documents, when I open the file it automatically scrolls to the bottom of the page.

I have problems with the scroll bar. On some files, such as Documents, when I open the file it automatically scrolls to the bottom of the page. I can scroll upward, but as soon as I let go of the mouse button it drops to the bottom of the page. On some windows so it both vertically and transversely sometimes scrolls upwards and downwards is OK but he pages all the way to the right. Also in IE, I can't click on the scroll bar and drag it, I have to the top or down of arrows or the wheel.

    Thank you; Brand:

I found the problem. It was the mouse.

I do not understand why it worked on some programs and others do not, but I guess until I found a solution, it is not matter. Brand:

When I scroll with the wheel of the mouse Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse, it jumps instead of sliding to the bottom of the page.  It ignores even the large amounts.  This can be solved? Rose

    Hi Rose,

The problem occurs on specific applications?

This can be for one of the following reasons:
    1. bad mouse is selected in the IntelliPoint software.
    2. conflict with other mouse or pointer (non-Microsoft) software.
    3. problem with IntelliPoint software or drivers.
4 application does not correctly recognize scrolling the mouse messages.

I suggest for the link and follow the steps in the KB article:
The problems with the mouse button or scroll the parameters
Note: Put the computer to normal mode after the troubleshooting in clean boot mode.

Hope this solves the problem. If the problem persists, you can write to us and we will be happy to help you further.
  • No matter what page I click on the screen automatically scrolls to the bottom of the screen

original title: any page I click on the screen automatically scrolls to the bottom of the screen so THST I'm unable to read whats above. I suspect a recent windows update caused this problem

    See above

    Hi centerZQ of windows media.

Since it is a recent issue, use System Restore to restore your computer to a point before the issue. This allows you to uninstall the updates or programs that you installed after the date you have selected, then make sure you have a way to reinstall all the programs, if necessary.

Then, check the updates on your computer. If you have several updates to install, install them in small groups, until the problem reoccur. Once you have identified the update at the origin of the problem, post in the forum.

You will need to do something like it in a program like Edge animate.

  • I would like to remove the arrows when scrolling to the bottom of a search page.

When I do a search in firefox and you present results to get an arrow that I scroll the page down and he jumps a few lines. I would like to remove the arrows and the page myself.

Are you scroll with the mouse, the scroll bar or with the keyboard?

I cannot portray the arrow you see. Would it not possible to display a screenshot? If changing the mouse pointer, the screenshot probably include that, but if it is an element of the page, then it should.

This article has tips on the screenshots. Please remove personal/confidential information before posting (you can attach an image to an answer).

How to make a screenshot of my problem?

Not sure it's relevant, but Firefox has a feature of accessibility called the keyboard navigation that moves the cursor in the document. You can disable this option in the Preferences dialog box. Please see this article for more information: Advanced panel - accessibility, navigation, network, updates and other settings in advanced Firefox (it's the first item in the mini general tab, "always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages").
