  Hello

  I am currently working on some classes for my upcoming exams, and Pages crashes without reason.

• Pages crashing all the time after updating the OS 10.11.3

  Hello, I have problems with Pages crashing since I received the update OS X El Capitan (10.11.3). Common problems are:

  • Pages could open documents with considerable delays: when I double click on a file, it may take up to 20 seconds before opening the document (at the same time, the only thing running is 2 tabs in Safari with non-intensive websites like Wikipedia);
  • Pages would not open to all documents: sometimes it refuses to open my documents either. When I choose for example a document on the 'Recent' via dock icon Pages list it will not launch it. If I wait for awhile and just click the Pages icon, hoping that it will be launched the document in the background, he brings just to the top of the window with the models as if I wanted to open a new document.
  • 'Missing font"all the time: I did not the latest changes to my fonts, but when I opened a document originally created in Pages (and not a converted copy of an old Word document) it always gives an error message "missing fonts" - particularly associated with Microsoft fonts. I downloaded and installed Cambria and Calibri manually and it fixed the problem... for about 8 hours, then he started again.
  • Beach ball rotation of death during the execution of simple operations: it's exasperating, but every now and then when trying to type or text in bold (and similar), the beach of death ball will appear, making the Pages does not.
  • Crashing before loading the same: when I force quit the app because it did not and then I try to run again, often they no longer again before loading the same. What the...?
  • Impossible to duplicate documents: at one time I thought that it is a certain file at the origin of all evil, so I tried it duplicate several times - which of course caused Pages to plant again and again. Same thing happened when I tried with other files.

  I had a similar problem before and it was fixed to restore the default fonts and removing duplicates in the FontBook app, but unfortunately it did not this time.

  I don't know what is wrong or why. It was working OK just a couple of days. Anyone else have similar experiences with it? Looks like Apple may not come out with an update that doesn't break the workflow of the people. But yay, more emoticons and pictures Live Webcam on the way!

  Because my Pages on El Capitan 10.11.3 v5.6.1 works very well with any of your questions, I believe that it is not Pages, but something out of Pages in your environment operating system as a cache of corrupt police, duplicate fonts, or damaged preferences file. Perhaps it is that you are too many applications running for your memory availability and Pages of hunger. All in due time.

  Let's start with a secure boot that will clear the system and local caches, rebuild the database of the police and then see if it stabilizes your use of the Pages.

  Secure boot

  1. Shut down your Mac.
  2. Press the power button and immediately press on and hold down the SHIFT key until you see the horizontal progress bar. I usually wait until it's an inch along before I release the SHIFT key. Personal touch.
  3. You will arrive at a login window. In the upper right screen, you'll see Safe Boot in red letters.
     1. After you type your password, stop, then press and hold the SHIFT key again once, before you click on the right arrow to open a session.
     2. Continue to hold the SHIFT key until your painting of icons on the desktop.
     3. Because many drivers are not loaded, graphics performance is not optimal, and may feel morose.
  4. Test Pages in startup mode to see if the problems have disappeared.
  5. Restart normally.
  6. Start Pages and open a document.

  Previous post the results of step 4 and 6. Have what improvements (if any) you noticed?

• Sensitive page crashes IE 8

  Hi guys,.

  I created a sensitive page in DW CC and it works well in all browsers except (don't be surprised) in IE 8.

  It blocks IE 8 on loading or reloading if it happens to load ok. I created a similar page (code wise almost identicle) and I have no problems with it.

  I wouldn't normally bother with IE8, but my client is insistent it works in your browser companiey.

  If someone could take a look at the code, I would be grateful. I have tried with the "pie" IE knit around, removing the interesting features of CSS3, js prefixfree etc. and which makes no difference at all.

  A couple of things that I see...

  You have a wandering line 114 final tag and some strange goings on at line 96 inside a tag of

  You can standardize your file names making them all alphanumeric characters to lowercase using hyphens or underscores instead of spaces, at least for the sake of appearance. Branching%20Out%20Contact%201.html seems not as nice as branching_out_contact_1.html in an address bar.

  None of this should cause a browser to crash, it's IE8, so you never know until you try.

• Need to move the mouse or page crashes

  The problem got worse over time, to the point it is now unbearable. At first, it was just the youtube videos, but now it's on every page of a site load. I have upgraded to Firefox beta version 32.0 and still have the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

• Can't the secure area.  At work, but now the Login Page crashes when enter name and password.

  Site built using Muse, then used Business Catalyst to implement the safe area.  Site has worked for several months, but the Login Page looked pretty little professional, since the area name and password may appear almost anywhere on the page.  Ask for help from Adobe and tech sent Adobe page 'Test' to check the presentation. Now Login Page does not work.  When to enter name and password and press return - nothing!  To 'Escape' off-page - it just hangs.  If members of the community site can share is no longer internal data.

  Would appreciate any help trying to solve this problem.

  The download window opens correctly. But, the mouse icon is changed to hourglass and I can't click on anything. I have to move to any other window in my system and return to this page click on save button. Also, once the file is downloaded, I can't click on anything on this page. I have to use the back button on the browser to return to the previous page.

  Hi Bilodeau,

  I suggest you go with the "submit" button and to avoid any problem with because it seems you are doing custom development.

  Even if you want to go with button, set the type of action as the action of fire (if it is available, I have not worked a lot on the button) and check if it works.

  My computer is HP Pavilion TouchSmart 23

  I have 8.1

  I use Internet Explorer (latest version).

  The SOLUTION I used to fix the freeze, I have SIGN OUT.

  I know that there must be a better way to fix this freezing problem.

  My computer is less than a year, I think that's not the computer.

  I have Norton Anti Virus software.

  I keep up to date on all updates from Microsoft.

  I had to CHROME, but prefer to use Internet Explorer to use the WEB.

  Before this computer purchase, I had several portable HP and never encountered this problem.

• Texturing the model of the project with the high texture layer of the page crashes the rendering queue

  Hello. I am trying to add an overall texture to the model of the whole project by adding a jpg with texture to the top of my diapers and affecting the overlay mode. However, when I try to exit out of the queue to render in format .mov, it hangs and will not be rendered. I use CS6 AE. 64 GB of RAM. Any help would be appreciated on how best to add an overall texture, if this isn't going to work. Thank you!

  

  I'm not really sure what version of AE, you're running; I'll guess CS6.  It is up-to-date, as in version 11.0.4?

  I see that you do NOT multiprocessing, which is good.

  And just as a workaround - just to get the project to the door - you could always rendering on the comp in a lossless codec, then just put the overlay on the imported file, recently visited a new comp.

• Pages keeps crashing after Sierra

  I just did a fresh of Sierra and re-downloaded installation applications thereafter. Since then, Pages crashes - every 5 minutes or more.

  I am editor-in-Chief. In this regard, the Pages has been lackluster for some time. Apple has removed countless features that have been incredibly useful. Also, I work with track changes, much, but after about 400 modified Pages on my MacBook becomes increasingly more mired - unusable. While other applications continue to work fine, I have ofter wait for a keystroke appears in the display. This situation is corrected by approving the previous changes, but it is not acceptable that I won't accept the changes made to the documents of my clients. On the other hand, MS Word on my MacBook will accept thousands of tracked changes before the sinking. For this reason, I have stopped using Pages for editing and migrated to Word. However, I like the clean interface of Pages and have continued to use it for my own writing - until today.

  Now, since the installation of Sierra and reinstall the Pages, the application crashes every five minutes. He abruptly sent me to the top of the document, opens the Inspector format and erase my history of "Cancel".

  I am writing from Internet Explorer because this page is snding firefox head first in an accident. I'm one of the first fans of firefox, but lately, it's crashing frequently on some sites. eBay item pages that have demos 3d and google maps are 2 examples.   Hi rupysk, please try to install a newer version of displaylink drivers for your system of http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/downloads.php and then upgrade to firefox 39. I hope that this should address these accidents.

  OK, the title says it all.  At any time, I try and create a PDF file or remove a page from the layout of the page InDesign view crashes. Problem important enough considering the export to PDF is a basic use case.

• Now, Firefox crashes only all the time

  Firefox has slowed to a crawl... taken advice on the support page to delete and rename the file "places.sqlite" in Manager files in Firefox. Now Firefox only crashes all the time. guess my decision to go back to the Explorer was made for me... can not solve the new versions of FIrefox crashes, slowness, errors... now only breaks down and the "places.sqlite. old"file I saved is gone now, so cannot yet go back to it...

  Note: If Firefox is not stable enough to use the subject: page crashes, the article also describes how to check for submitted crash IDs disk report.

  Also, and/or at the same time, could test you mode without failure of Firefox? Which temporarily disables extensions, hardware acceleration, and a few more advanced features of Firefox that could make it more prone to crashing on some systems.

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
