• Pages crashing all the time after updating the OS 10.11.3

  Hello, I have problems with Pages crashing since I received the update OS X El Capitan (10.11.3). Common problems are:

  • Pages could open documents with considerable delays: when I double click on a file, it may take up to 20 seconds before opening the document (at the same time, the only thing running is 2 tabs in Safari with non-intensive websites like Wikipedia);
  • Pages would not open to all documents: sometimes it refuses to open my documents either. When I choose for example a document on the 'Recent' via dock icon Pages list it will not launch it. If I wait for awhile and just click the Pages icon, hoping that it will be launched the document in the background, he brings just to the top of the window with the models as if I wanted to open a new document.
  • 'Missing font"all the time: I did not the latest changes to my fonts, but when I opened a document originally created in Pages (and not a converted copy of an old Word document) it always gives an error message "missing fonts" - particularly associated with Microsoft fonts. I downloaded and installed Cambria and Calibri manually and it fixed the problem... for about 8 hours, then he started again.
  • Beach ball rotation of death during the execution of simple operations: it's exasperating, but every now and then when trying to type or text in bold (and similar), the beach of death ball will appear, making the Pages does not.
  • Crashing before loading the same: when I force quit the app because it did not and then I try to run again, often they no longer again before loading the same. What the...?
  • Impossible to duplicate documents: at one time I thought that it is a certain file at the origin of all evil, so I tried it duplicate several times - which of course caused Pages to plant again and again. Same thing happened when I tried with other files.

  I had a similar problem before and it was fixed to restore the default fonts and removing duplicates in the FontBook app, but unfortunately it did not this time.

  I don't know what is wrong or why. It was working OK just a couple of days. Anyone else have similar experiences with it? Looks like Apple may not come out with an update that doesn't break the workflow of the people. But yay, more emoticons and pictures Live Webcam on the way!

  Because my Pages on El Capitan 10.11.3 v5.6.1 works very well with any of your questions, I believe that it is not Pages, but something out of Pages in your environment operating system as a cache of corrupt police, duplicate fonts, or damaged preferences file. Perhaps it is that you are too many applications running for your memory availability and Pages of hunger. All in due time.

  Let's start with a secure boot that will clear the system and local caches, rebuild the database of the police and then see if it stabilizes your use of the Pages.

  Secure boot

  1. Shut down your Mac.
  2. Press the power button and immediately press on and hold down the SHIFT key until you see the horizontal progress bar. I usually wait until it's an inch along before I release the SHIFT key. Personal touch.
  3. You will arrive at a login window. In the upper right screen, you'll see Safe Boot in red letters.
     1. After you type your password, stop, then press and hold the SHIFT key again once, before you click on the right arrow to open a session.
     2. Continue to hold the SHIFT key until your painting of icons on the desktop.
     3. Because many drivers are not loaded, graphics performance is not optimal, and may feel morose.
  4. Test Pages in startup mode to see if the problems have disappeared.
  5. Restart normally.
  6. Start Pages and open a document.

  Previous post the results of step 4 and 6. Have what improvements (if any) you noticed?

  When the screen is at least 1220px everywhere, the page is perfectly centered. The smaller screens don't display the page in the same way because, as you said quite rightly, the container has been set to 1200px - the extra 20px is used for the scroll bar.

  This means that the page is far from being reactive.

  My suggestion would be to create a really responsive design, this can be achieved using queries or media using a framework like Bootstrap. There are also commercial alternatives such as

  It would be a real stretch, especially when you have not used HTML5 or Bootstrap framework for all this. It lacks all the necessary brackets of the HTML (div classes).  Start over.

• 'Sensitive' Muse: crash after removing breakpoint on masterpage

  In the top of the page, there is a menu accordion. There are scroll effects no more -I got the version before update. But as I added the breakpoint, Muse said, the effect of scrolling should go, which was fine for me so far.

  After a while, I decided to remove the breakpoint, that I had just added. But after that, click on...

  When I open Muse again and try again to remove the breakpoint: same crash effect. Currently, I don't know how to get rid of the breakpoint, once again...

  We have received your file, thanks. We are studying the accident you met, but I wanted to point out a way to avoid the crash, then you can continue to work. For now, you can work around the problem in close your document, and then reopen it, then, opening the page WILKOMMEN, and then open the page master A-Musters. Do not open other pages and do it in this order. Now, remove the blue breakpoint at 500. You should now be able to work on your file. Let me know if this does not help you hit and we can send you back up your file with this deleted breakpoint.

  I have a new macbook pro retina a month now, installed all updates. but everything at the time of the pages freezes on me. I can type a few lines in my document, and then it just hangs.

  tried to copy them all to a new document, but it does not help. every 1-2 minutes, it crashes.

  is there something I can do? can I reinstall pages?

  Is this Pages ' 09 v4.3 or some version of Pages v5 - impossible to look over your shoulder, so specify what you have installed. The "installed all updates" is is proven very generic and in the past, was not always proved true. Be explicit with the version of OS X and Pages.

  Thx for the Info. I tried some things and find it more useful to duplicate the entire page... and change the text and images. If anyone would face the same problems it is also a solution

• Validation of a sensitive page (Dreamweaver CC 2014) problem

  Hi all

  I bought model dream models in order to speed up the change of sensitive technology for my websites (several of them) in time for the release of their new algorithm Google. I don't check before buying if they would be validated correctly or not because the demo was shown inside a frame.

  After completing the site on my localhost, I tried to validate the index.html, and check for errors. Shocked to find that edit the template for my use had created 23 errors and 10 attention.

  I am struggling to get my head around this idea to meet the size of the screen and I'm new to Dreamweaver. However, I am determined to become proficient in the area of "design for first mobile" and become an expert with Dreamweaver. I was faithful to Expression web for much to long.

  The biggest problem, as I have is with the use of the Google Fonts API. Although I have fixed most of the errors now, I still get 8 (5 of them related to the line of code for the Google font):

  They are the mistakes of validation for this line of code:

  I can't find out what I'm doing wrong here. Whenever I try to change the order of this line, (put it in a different place in the head) page breaks. Currently it displays perfectly in Chrome, IE 11, Firefox, iPad and Android smart phone with errors.

  I would also like to know how is important that a page or pages you can validate with W3C? Doesn't break correctly validate the page, there is certainly a serious flaw, that I can't find a description.

  If I can get some advice - even for help, with what I would be grateful. Please forgive me if I posted in the wrong place.

  Not too some without seeing your code, but these errors are referring to a meta tag not closed before your link tag.

• Need to move the mouse or page crashes

  The problem got worse over time, to the point it is now unbearable. At first, it was just the youtube videos, but now it's on every page of a site load. I have upgraded to Firefox beta version 32.0 and still have the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

To create HTML myself, I click on the Panel to insert with split button, but there is that HTML5 video to select.  Right now, I'm not able to create index.html. Please help me how is automatically created index.html in my nursery Web page. I dropped this web design class-Adobe Dreamweaver creative cloud in the last six months because the same matter has not been resolved. To resolve this problem, I spent more than 4 days. I don't want to drop this class once more because of index.html file has failed.

  DW does not automatically your page index for you.

  You must choose the file > New > Site templates > PlantN > nurseryTemplate to create a child page in your site template.

  Then save under > index.html to the root of your site.

  This is how you create all the pages of your site that you plan to use the model for.

• Sensitive page but I need several elements remain fixed size and position

  I create a project in EA where there should be responsive, but the logo in the upper left part must remain in position and fixed-size.

  I tried may things but nothing seems to work.

  The logo is a .svg file and I tried:

  What makes a symbol

  various options from the "Use the presets for reactive structure" button in the properties panel

  manufacturing stage is unresponsive, then selecting all other symbols outside logo and using the power button on the page mentioned above to select the scaling

  I spent days on this thing, and it just doesn't work.

  Is this a case of edit the .js or html directly?

  I am using v 2014.1.1

  Just display back because I found a solution for this.

  Because the logo was not an interactive element, I just added to the HTML page and positioned with a bit of CSS

  Job done!

• Can't the secure area.  At work, but now the Login Page crashes when enter name and password.

  Site built using Muse, then used Business Catalyst to implement the safe area.  Site has worked for several months, but the Login Page looked pretty little professional, since the area name and password may appear almost anywhere on the page.  Ask for help from Adobe and tech sent Adobe page 'Test' to check the presentation. Now Login Page does not work.  When to enter name and password and press return - nothing!  To 'Escape' off-page - it just hangs.  If members of the community site can share is no longer internal data.

  Would appreciate any help trying to solve this problem.

  Hi Bilodeau,

  I suggest you go with the "submit" button and to avoid any problem with because it seems you are doing custom development.

  Even if you want to go with button, set the type of action as the action of fire (if it is available, I have not worked a lot on the button) and check if it works.

  My computer is HP Pavilion TouchSmart 23

  I have 8.1

  I use Internet Explorer (latest version).

  The SOLUTION I used to fix the freeze, I have SIGN OUT.

  I know that there must be a better way to fix this freezing problem.

  My computer is less than a year, I think that's not the computer.

  I have Norton Anti Virus software.

  I keep up to date on all updates from Microsoft.

  I had to CHROME, but prefer to use Internet Explorer to use the WEB.

  Before this computer purchase, I had several portable HP and never encountered this problem.
