  I have a table menu ring controls (32 rows, 5 columns).  When a menu choice is made in the first column of a given line, the content of the menu for the following columns (same line) ring may vary.  If this is possible, how would you do it?  Thank you.

  A ring is just a number as far as LabVIEW is concerned, so the cluster underlying need only store numbers, not rings.

  Hello! I am communicating with via GPIB hardware. I'm rebuilding software to control the unit. Unfortunately, the GPIB bus is "clogged" with a lot of almost synchronous calls to the GPIB. In order to solve this problem, I would only request the GPIB, if a control on the front has been changed by the user. For example, to change a constant in time, the user changes the value in the control of constant front of time. An instant more later, a request is sent to display what unit was defined as the time constant. I wish that this request to the device will only be sent if the user has actually changed the value of a constant control of time. All calls are transmitted in time loop. Is there a simple and lightweight way to check if a control value has been changed? Thanks in advance for any help!

  The structure of the event is your best friend here. Use a value for orders change event.

  I want to create a button that turns on a series of other buttons, but then releases the control to allow individual switching. The problem is that for my project I need to run the labview file continuously so when I change a control to true switch it keeps the value of the other true Boolean values. For example, I flick a switch to turn on all the lights at the same time but want to and then later have the power of the special lights individually. Then also have the option to turn off all the lights again with a click of a button. I can't understand this. I don't have much so far, sorry for that.

  The problem is probably not full equality of types of data comparison.  As fractions like 0.1 cannot be represented exactly in binary, is often equal to comparisons result in numbers that appear to be equal when displayed with one decimal place are actually different in the 14th, 15th or 16th place.

  I am trying to send the names and values of the controls to a Subvi.

  I know that I can check out the name and the value of the control by using a property node, but I was looking for a way to make is easy for the programmer to use.

  I think some sort of bundle function, it records the name and the value of the control, but I would like the programmer to be able to connect a random number

  controls to the Subvi without having to specify the number of controls Anywhere.

  I know there is stuff in labview configuration file, but it seems a bit more complex, so what I want to do.

  Also, I know that I can use the OpenG toolkit, but I will not use additional LabVIEW modules, as this VI may run on several different computers.

  What, creating an array of references to the command.  On the hand, you will need to fill the table with control references that you want to send to the Subvi.  In the Subvi, use a loop For with indexing to get every reference, and then use the nodes property to get the name and value.

• Problem updating to a control on a panel based on a change in value in another control on another Panel

  I'm trying to update the value of a control on a Panel, when the value of another control on another Panel is changed.  The two panels are saved in two .uir different files, so there are two associated .h files generated by CVI.  The problem is that, inside the callback function for the control being modified (Ctrl_Id_A on Panel_A), when I call it SetCtrlVal (Panel_B, Ctrl_Id_B, Value); 'Panel_B' and 'Ctrl_Id_B' (who have the same numeric values Panel_A = 1 and Ctrl_Id_A = 2 in their folders respective .h) are interpreted as Panel_A and Ctrl_Id_A.  I never understood how ICB does this distinction, for example. knowing that PANEL_A = 1 and PANEL_B = 1 is mentioned, but don't worry because I never needed only to intercommunication between the panels up to now.  Any help on how to implement this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

• Get the correct labels for a query search

  We use 11.1.1.7, and we can not be upgraded in the foreseeable future. We use the query component to search for a table that has a number of areas, including a date. Our display object is configured with a view criteria which selects where DateTimeStamp >: minDate and DateTimeStamp <: maxDate. Unfortunately, the search engine created by the query component uses the text of the label of the DateTimeStamp attribute rather than the text of the label for the link variable. If the display shows the same label for DateTimeStamp for both fields of the search form.

  My question is, is it possible to configure different labels in a search for 2 variable bind form in a view of criteria where the 2 bind variable are the same attribute? Or y at - it another way I should approach this? Our requirement is to allow the user to enter two dates to find the records that are between these two dates.

  For various reasons, we went just for the bind variable directly in the where clause of the query of the View object to have in the view criteria. This switch has led to less control over the search, including variable bind tags form.

  You can add the attribute DateTimeStamp twice to your view object, and you can use different labels for each.

  I have a requirement where I want to fill the label for a resource group accessor, but its not filled with the value of the key provided in the label.

  The portal bundle has after the entry:

  CUST_ADD = address of the customer

  and I'm on the underside of the piece of code in the pagedef.xml to make the address of the client on the user interface
