Palm TX and Palm universal wireless keyboard

I use a Palm TX with Palm UWK and the problem is that some of the keys on the right side of the keyboard do not respond.  Such as parentheses, colon and the right shift is not allowing me to type uppercase.   I deleted the keyboard drivers and reinstalled the new drivers on the Palm site, but the question remains.  The only difference is the updated Documents To Go, but the problem appeared til some time after that.  Any suggestions on what is the problem and how to solve?

Thank you.

Here's what I did. Sounds radical alittle, but I put the keyboard in the back of my drawer of my chest, in the case where I needed it later. I bought the Bluetooth keyboard made by Palm and works much better than the 'Wireless '.

  • 3169WWZ letters a universal wireless keyboard does not

Hi, can someone help me. I had the same problem with two of these keyboards. On the right side of the keyboard, there is a whole section which is "dead." O, p, brackets, k, l, commas, periods, etc. do not register. I'm extremely frustrated because it's the second keyboard with this problem. One lasted a few months and it's the same with this one. Any suggestions?

  • Keyboard universal wireless & Vista?

(SKU 3169WWZ) universal wireless keyboard works with Vista Home Premium? I can't install the software because he wants a driver updated, but impossible to install the driver without the software. Chicken? Egg? Chicken? Egg? eeeeek!

Quick installation does not work with Vista and the version of Palm Desktop, you have installed.

Palm Desktop 6.2.2 is designed for Vista and uses a different method of installing programs.  http://www.Palm.com/us/support/downloads/windesk62.html

A .zip file is a standard file format.  I do not use Vista, so I can't explain how to decompress a file with it...

  • my wireless keyboard does not work on the letter and number keys.

It seems to be connected to the computer, because it does not work on the control button and snooze sound

    Hello

-Have you made any recent hardware / software changes prior to this question?

-What is the brand and model of wireless keyboard?

Method 1: run the hardware troubleshooter.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

Method 2: update a hardware driver that is not working properly

    (a) open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and security, and then, under system, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    (b) in the list of hardware categories, find the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
    (c) click on the driver tab, click Update driver, and then follow the instructions. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

Method 3: resynchronize your device with the receiver

To resynchronize the mouse or the keyboard with the receiver, follow these steps.

Note When you synchronize the mouse or the keyboard le clavier with the receiver, place the device near the receiver and store other keyboards and wireless mouse at least 6 feet.
    1. press the button on the receiver and check that the light on the receiver starts flashing.
Note Some newer devices from Microsoft are subject to their receiver and cannot be reset. If your device has a button, go to method 2.
    2. If a dialog box appears on the screen in seconds, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
    3. press and release the Connect Channel button on the bottom of the mouse or the keyboard.
    4. check the green light on the receiver. A continuous green light means that the synchronization was successful. If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 to 4.
    5. for the Wireless Notebook Mouse: this issue can occur if the micro-switch on the bottom of the mouse is not released. Use a PIN or pen to try to release the button, if it is pressed.

    Hope this information helps.

  • wireless keyboard buttons number one and does not

    Hi, Bay boy.

    Please visit Apple support communities.

I understand that your wireless keyboard does not work.  Here are a few articles that I would go through for troubleshooting this problem.

Your keyboard has one or more of the keys that are not

Use the keyboard Viewer to check if the keys on the keyboard respond correctly when they are pressed.

    1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu, and then select language & text.
    2. Select Input Sources.
    3. Check the keyboard Viewer & characters.
    4. Activate the input source for the keyboard layout that you test by selecting the checkbox next to it.
    5. Make sure that "Show the menu in the menu bar" is enabled.
    6. Choose Show Keyboard Viewer in the menu in the menu bar.
    7. The viewer of keyboard showing the keyboard layout is displayed on your screen.
    8. Tap the key on the keyboard that is not answer and see if the corresponding key highlights on the keyboard Viewer. If so, this key works fine.

    Notes:

    • If mouse keys in the universal system preferences pane is activated, a lot of keys on the keyboard do respond as expected.
    • If the problem persists, try to run to the top of your Mac in single user mode see if a software problem is causing the problem.

If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard or trackpad doesn't work as expected

After turning on my wireless keyboard led green lights, then begins to blink, and then turns off. The batteries are fresh.

Possible explanation.  It is likely that batteries, so fresh, can be irregular in size.   The uncertain connection would therefore tend to lead to a failure to blink and you declare.   Read my thing...

  • Very important question! Why my Apple wireless keyboard better and much stronger than my midi keyboard?

    I have a Yamaha psr-330 midi keyboard

I have an Akai mpk261midi keyboard

I have an Alesis v61 midi keyboard

they all sound the same in Logic Pro X, I can barely hear the sound of the piano, the pressure sensitivity is out of whack, I basically just plug and play midi keyboards and use software instruments without changing anything in Logic Pro X... why does my little Apple Wireless (bluetooth, remember) clearer keyboard better, more responsive and much stronger than any general midi keyboard? its embarrassing to say the least!

I have the volume to the maximum one time and even raised the gain on the software instrument "Piano Steinway tail" and still barely, I could hear a noise...

Please help me I have no other solution... IV ' e tasted its best thanks to a computer keyboard dang, how is this possible?

  • Wireless keyboard and trackpad malfunction since El Capitan

Since the upgrade to El Captitan, I turn my wireless keyboard works after almost every sleep system order of the to make it usable again. Otherwise El Cap or any application would react to shots of keyboard with a separate period and, often, repeating only one several times.

    With Yosemite, everything was fine.

My configuration: trackpad, mouse mighty mouse and keyboard, all wireless, on a late 2013 27 "i7 iMac with 32 GB of RAM, no later than OS X.

    Any ideas?

There are a number of issues to support why this could happen. Have you tried to reboot the device? Also - are the batteries discharged on the wireless keyboard and the magic trackpad?

  • Using a new wireless keyboard and trackpad?

Can you use a new Apple wireless keyboard and the trackpad designed for Mac OS with an ATV nine?

    Thank you.

You must have the latest tvOS 9.2 update. Specifically, it adds support for keyboard not in the original. I doubt that she would support a trackpad; It's experimental. Furthermore, there is an app for Apple TV iOS. I paired a keyboard with my ATV, but use the remote to input keyboard app, because it's so convenient.

  • Pavilion 550-122nd: mouse and wireless keyboard do not work before Windows starts (10)

The wireless keyboard and mouse (that came with the computer) do not work until Windows is started.

I want to make a (ghost) image of my hard drive using the boot CD Norton ghost 15.0 (but it also applies to other bootable devices).

When the CD boots and the program starts I have to click a button (OK / accept) to continue. At this point the wireless keyboard and mouse are not active jet. This is why I can't continue.

Use a USB keyboard gives the same result (also not active at this point).

Is there a solution / work around for this?

    Thank you.

On the pilots seems plausible. Especially because on my laptop (older) with Windows 10 CD bootable (like Norton Ghost) don't Duke keyboard and mouse.

I'll have a look at the new version of the BIOS and start looking for new tools that will accept my keyboard (and mouse).

    Thank you.
