  If I read your messages, I have that, amongst other times, pick up this always happens at startup.  This is the case, you can first check that the time is set correctly in the BIOS before you boot into Windows.  If it is, and, as you think, a program is causing this problem so the task is to know which.  A lot of startup programs each time you start Windows.  The boot configuration with minimum nude of running processes is called "Safe Mode".  So start your computer Safe Mode (press F8 as your computer starts).  When he arrives, check the date and time.  If it of OK and has not changed, then one of the other optional components must be the cause.  To narrow down that one, you can use "msconfig" to toggle the startup items groups until you find the one that is causing your problem.  The procedure for doing this is described in this article:

  I start by disabling everything in the "Startup" tab  If this solves the problem, then I start allowing things in this tab a little at a time until I have find the culprit. If the Startup tab does not resolve the problem, then I try disabling items in the tab "Services".  I usually start with non-Microsoft services.

  Of course on the machine who recently had this problem, you could try a shotgun approach and do a simple "System Restore" to a point in time before this problem.  It will probably fix the problem, but you will not know what caused it.

• Palm Pre stuck at the logo

  I had my pre for about two months and the other day, arbitrarily, it restarts and is now unable to boot the system completely; It crashes just in the 'Palm' logo indefinitely.  I have reset many times, both through the switch and the battery, and it has made no difference.  I can't use the webOS doctor, either, because my computer does not recognize the frozen pre.  I was hoping that the problem could be resolved without having to replace the phone entirely.  Any help would be appreciated!

  1. plug the USB cable and charger, charger inserted.

  2 remove the battery from the front.

  3. press and hold the button of volume up to off on the side.

  4. replace the battery in the meadow.

  5. Insert the USB cable to the front. (should see a big USB logo on the screen)

  6. release the volume up button now.

  7. install webOS doctor of Palm.com/ROM.

  8. connect the USB cable to the PC and pre when the webOS doctor invites to do.

  I have a report prompt based on the year. I have 2 sections of report either we should display the prompt value-based report and the other report should show a value larger than that. Ex: If I select the year 2005 in the prompt the first report should display 2005 data and the second report should display reports more than 2005, 2006,2007 data.
  To do this, I created prompt as below.
  Column-> Calendar_Year
  -> Equals Opertaor
  Control-> drop-down list
  Show-> all values
  -> The default server Variable
  Set Variable-> presentation Variable.
  Name of the vAriable-> yr_val
  
  In the reports, I used the filter year = @{yr_val} for the first report and year > @{yr_val} for the second report.
  I'm getting first report properly but second report shows the same data rather than the selected value years.

• Implementation gets stuck to the 'HP invent' blue Boot Screen

  I have a HP Pavilion a6332f desktop PC.

  In Windows, I changed the drive letter of the DVD drive to 'F' to 'Z', and now when I reboot the PC, it gets loaded is stuck on the blue screen 'HP invent '.  This display has the instructions to enter the "Boot Menu", "Setup" and "System Recovery" by pressing key "F11" aor "Esc", "F10".  It is just there for ever.

  If I try to enter the 'Boot' Menu by pressing the 'Esc' key, I get the message "Loading Boot Menu... ", but then it hangs there forever just.  If I try to enter the "Setup" Menu, I get a similar result - it says 'enter the Setup... ". "and just hangs there.  By pressing the "F11" key does not seem to do anything.

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Hello Spawn1155, the problem you describe seems to be more than a heat issue than anything else.

  I checked the specs of your system, which can be found here , and it shows that the system was published in May 2005.

  This indicates that it is a little old system and could very well have a good amount of dust/dirt accumulation in the case.

  I unplug the power cord, remove the side panel and clean the dust/dirt from the inside of the case, paying particular attention to all heatsinh/CPU fan. You can acquire some canned compressed air to clean the radiator/fan to the processor set.

  After cleaning the system, try it for a while and see if that solved the problem. If she did not, you may need to restore the software on the system, due to possible corruption.   Is in trouble with occasional frosts. Would be closed and it should restart very well. About 2 weeks ago, the computer froze. I shut down the computer and restarted. The apple logo came with the spinning wheel, and then just the apple logo.

  I can start safe mode. Tried resetting the PRAM, reset of SCM. Tried to start with all peripherals except keyboard and mouse disconnected. Use the command R to start the computer and went into the disc utilities. Disc checked and it said disc looks OK. Verified permissions. Mistakes came for iTunes more a warning which was not repairable. Fixed permissions. None of these permits to start properly.

  Parle talked anyone computer repair who suggested to unplug the computer, hold the power button while up to one minute, plug the computer back in and pressing the Start button. It came in fine. A few days letter that the computer froze and I had to stop it. You press the Start button, got the spinning wheel, so only the apple logo and apple logo.   Depends on the disc that you would use if you want to use the Toshiba recovery disc, then the whole HARD disk would be formatted, including all partitions on the HARD drive.
  If you want to use the disk in Microsoft Windows Vista, you can choose which partition has been formatted and where the Vista must be installed.

  If you n t want to lose the data stored on the D partition and if you don t have a disc of Microsoft Vista, install the OS of Visa then I would recommend, remove the laptop HARD drive. Then plug the 2.5 SATA HDD with a USB-SATA controller then this HARD drive to another computer.
  Usually, you should be able to access the D partition and would be able to move all the data to another computer.

  The 4th character from the left is the year of manufacture.

  In the first case, it is either 2005, 2015 according to the model (that would be obvious based on the hardware of the laptop has, or when you bought).

  The best way to protect your data is to export the data in each category of Palm Desktop in a separate folder on your PC.
