• HP Deskjet 2050 'control panel' (for lack of better term) missing

  This morning, I clicked on the link that was created when I installed my HP Deskjet 2050 and the 'normal' Panel controls color black and blue with buttons to click on for printing, scanning, check the ink levels and all kinds of other things appeared.  I used this dozens of times link since I had this printer, and whenever I was sent to the good 'control panel' buttons to make things.

  I clicked on the "scan" button and went about my business-

  I scanned the 4 pages of homework in a single PDF.

  I went to my office and opened the .pdf to check the quality.  (I did not close the window of program analysis.  The Control Panel has been closed when open scanning window.)

  The scanner has been created to analyze the incorrect page size (results of a project from the beginning fo this semester) and I re-scanned 4 pages to the appropriate size.  Saved.  Check again once, it was fine this time.  I closed the digitization program.

  Later today, I clicked on the same link mentioned above, and for some unknown reason, I get a completely different screen.

  

  To the best of my knowledge, there have not been change file (last was 16/11/12, which was certainly not in the time I found the control panel that I use usually missing) or driver updates or something of the sort that caused my "printing, scanning, etc." link to no longer open the correct control panel.

  There is a "Control Panel" completely different available not an hour before that I started to see the Junk above.  (And the "Wizard of the printer" button above does - nothing - at all either!)  There are 6 or 8 buttons which included objects such as a scan of pages option and make copies.  The previous control panel was also much more black than white.

  How to bring back the old control panel with other options?

• Faced with ' sort by ' in the Panel project CS6 display icon

  Hi all

  I wonder if everyone is faced with the following text:

  I imported a bunch of gopro files in a bin in my project Panel. When in list mode, I can sort by name, duration, no matter. However, when I go to the icon display the ' sort by ' settings are not kept - my files seem to appear in a random order, which makes it very difficult to keep track of them.

  Are there any hidden feature, I did not to allow me to sort files in the icon display?

  The display of the icon looks like a Storyboard, you can drag clips autour, you cannot sort.

  Please file a feature request in order to sort in the display of the icon.

• Project lack of PDF content

  I am trying to build a PDF file, but lack the files in my project. I noticed when I choose to generate a PDF file, a temporary file will appear in my printed Documentation folder. 5 missing my PDF files do not appear in the temporary folder. The project builds fine and the files are available in my WebHelp output, but they lack in the PDF file. Any ideas?

  In the second window of the Wizard (Print Document Content), look at the topics in the topics pane. If the page icons are not highlighted, they will not be included in the page layout for the addition of the doc. those who are not for the right pane and you should be OK.

• Lack of Information

  Office bought at Costco, which had been a demonstration unit.  I got was the computer, keyboard, mouse and monitor - no manual the user or other written documents.  Finally managed to remove their locally installed stuff but when I tried to use MS Word I got the issues that I have had no response, password etc.  Aparently Word and other software is that I installed a unable to use.  Any suggestions?

  Hello and thank you for the HP forums.  Since you just bought this machine and I hope that did not add many files yourself the first thing I would say for a unit floor is a system recovery.  A system recovery will erase the disc of the operating system and reinstall it to a factory State.  This means that if you have saved personal files, you will need to back them up before proceeding with the recovery.  Follow these instructions to complete the restore of the system:

• Why my layers panel is not any information?

  Hello:                                                                                                         OS: Windows 7 64 bit

  I'm fairly new to Illustrator, and today I'm working on a tutorial.

  So far, I have just a single layer. I went to the window > layer so that the palette is open. However, he has no inside information. Only when I move it the layer info displayed.

  Am I missing something? I've never had this problem before. I didn't create a new layer > Drew circle > added a gradient and then to look at the layers palette but nothing.

  I was wondering if I have something switched off function by mistake. If so, I don't know what to do to activate it under.

  Also, I tried stop Illustrator, tried a new file and stopped my pc but nothing seems to bring the news to the layers palette

  In some cases, simply rename/move the AIPrefs file is not enough.

  You can try to move the folder with Illy closed, that is to move the entire folder containing the AIPrefs file. If she fails to make a difference, you can bring it back and get your preferences, it is reversible.

• Bridge CS5.1 - lack of information in FILMSTRIP mode

  For some reason, the information that was available to see and use (file name and ability to give the side stars to several files at a time) is now missing from my CS5.1 Bridge (see file attachment).  It was working fine last week but now no.  I installed this last patch in order to comply the v. 4.1.0.54, but it does not solve the problem.  I tried to see if there is a way to recover - as maybe I hit some weird key command that does everything disappear, but I have been unable to get anywhere.  Can someone help me?

  Yes, this is the case, you must have accidentally hit cmd + the button T and now you have set the bridge to show only thumbnails.

  Under the menu display, you will see a checkmark in front of the option: "show thumbnails only. Click it again to deselect or hit again cmd + T (on a Mac) and return you to a normal situation

• Lack of information video card

  My video card driver is out of date, and I can not download a new because I don't know what it is the map. When I check through all the usual methods, the info isn't available. I tried to check with Acer, but they need the serial number and the sticker is scratched so I can't get it. What are my options here? The paperwork is long gone, and I'm only a little uncomfortable disassemble the PC did once to install the RAM. I downloaded diagnostic scanners, and even they say not available for the video card info. I'm totally at a loss. I want to put a game on my PC but need to know if my card is good enough, it gets this slow pan when I scroll and its really annoying. It was once fixed by updating drivers, but I've since had to format. I am now back to square one.

  The Build Panel still , Blu - ray format, the Disc info shows that 12.45 GB is used and 12.55 GB is free, even if I had not started construction. Why? I expect 0 used and 25 GB free. Audit project revealed no problem. I don't know what info to provide an informed answer, but here is some info:

  On Panel project still, two files have appeared, Types: chronology and Premiere Pro sequence.

  I created no menus and no subtitle track.

  On the Timeline panel, the end prproj Action is Stop, length is 14; 58; 59, 00, remote Menu is back to the last Menu. Chapter 1 (the only chapter) link is not defined. Properties Panel, in and displays all zeros, end Action is not defined.

  That's the prediction of yet which is used and free.

  The automatic can be applied to your PR sequence (i.e. the "asset" will get transcoded), but you must look at the setting of transcoding for the asset (ook in the project Panel to the right for the setting of transcode Blu - ray). I'm not sure you can max a Blu - ray player with only an hour of material. How is it?

• Play and rename the clip in the project Panel, using only the keyboard

  I want to use my keyboard to navigate through the items displayed in the thumbnail view in the Panel project (pictured below), play these clips and rename these clips. Already, I am able to up, down, left, right keys to navigate and can press ENTER to rename the clip. However, the space bar does not play the selected clip unless I use my mouse to click on it.

  

  I really want to avoid using my mouse in this process. This will greatly enhance the convenience of crosses a lot of clips and visualizing and renamed.

  Someone at - it suggestions? Open to workarounds or other ways to skin this cat.

  It is a problem I always had with first - I think that it is not a solution, but I wanted to ask the community to see if someone has found a way.

  Hey mammolastan,

  I don't think there is a way to play a clip with Sapcebar in the project without first Panel by clicking on it. You should have a demand: feature request/Bug Report Form

  There is a work around using only keyboard shortcuts, if you are interested. I prefer this workflow myself because you have to make the thumbnails big enough so that they can be useful, in my opinion.

  If you have already said, you can navigate with the arrow keys, press ENTER to return to rename and move to another clip or enter on the numeric keypad to not go to the next clip. When I do what you, I open my clips in the Source monitor and view them there, air conditioned and have no mice. SHIFT + O is the default shortcut to open an item in the Source monitor, but I've changed mine to Cmd + down arrow (as OS X). Then you can shuttle, set in/out points, make markers, etc., and then when you go to your next video you press SHIFT + 1 to return to your project Panel. It's more shortcuts, Yes, but given that you are looking for a KB option-driven, I feel you're fast enough with your fingers, and once you do it a few times, it is true no big thing at all.

  You can open a bin in a separate window.  That might do the trick.  Check the General preferences to see how.

• After opening project, several tabs of this project are displayed in the project Panel.

  See the image below.  Often when I open a project to create, I will take 3 or 4 tabs duplicate from the get-go in the project Panel.  Anyone else seen this?  I'm under 7.1 on Mountain Lion 10.8.4

  The number of project committees is saved as a property of the workspace. So if you have a project open with, say, 5 panels of project open to different locations and you create a new project, the new project will also 5 panels project - but given that the new project is not the garbage, all instances of project group will be opened at the level of the root.

  A quick way to remedy this is to reset the current workspace or select a backup one layout, you like a personalized workspace and move to after the creation of a new project.

• Project Panel appears not

  I am creating a new project, and can't get the Panel project to appear.  The front panel that appears is the media browser.  I tried to window - workspace - editing, it makes no difference.  Suggestions?

  Window > project verified?  If this is not the case, check it.

• Organize Clips edited in project using first Elements 4 Panel

  I use first elements 4.

  When I edit a clip in the timeline or in the Panel Monitor is possible now to put the clip in the project Panel and collect clips edited it the Assembly subsequently. I used Canopus Edius and you can assemble the clips in what is called the tray and then get back on the timeline.scenceline subsequently, makes for a nice workflow.

  I tried several times to drag the clip edited to the Edit/project Panel does not. I read the Help menu but it does not really address it.

  I'm not under any other software while doing this, I'm on 2 years, Dell with vista just FYI.

  It seems to me you can edit and place in the Panel project for later installation on timeline would make sense as a workflow? I looked at all the menu drop-down menus to try to move them as well but no luck?

  I know it must be something really simple anyone can help?

  We do a lot of editing on Edius but it's our backup system and we would like to do a simple task as described above. We then export them to a quicktime file and use the clips in another software called Proshow gold.

  Pre 4.0 (may differ in future versions), Dbl-Click the Clip to open it in the Source monitor, set the Points In & Out, then drag it to the project Panel, where pre will give you the opportunity to appoint subclip trimmed.
