• Photoshop "save under" does not not on dialogue Parallels

  I have Photoshop CS5 running on a MacBook OS 10.8 Parallels/Windows XP.  When I try to "save under", the dialog box does not come to the top.  I installed the latest update.  Other CS5 programs (for example, Dreamweaver and Fireworks) do not have this problem.  Also, when I try to do a 'Save for Web and Devices', the dialog box IS launched, but it is oversized for the window and cannot be resized to make accessible command buttons.

  Any suggestions would be welcome.

  Hi Noel!  Thanks for the suggestion.  I tried to play with the resolution of the window in the control panel.  This made a mess... but in the process, I discovered that if I run Photoshop in Coherence mode (i.e. not interpolated with Windows ' window'), the dialog box shows up.  So, your suggestion regarding the resolution of the window solves the problem.

• Work around a dialogue button in While loop

  I had a crash in VI where the user Alt + right, click on the control and a dialog a button triggers to display the description of the control.  The only bad thing is, the dialog a button inside the decline of the stops of the whole program up to what the user clicks OK in the dialog box.  A way around this problem?  It blocks my program if the user forgets to click OK after a too long.  Any help is appreciated.

  I'm going to guess that this is related to the root 'loop' - there are a few notes here: http://labviewwiki.org/Lessons_learned_from_plugins. Some operations, including the display of dialogs of Windows and menus, go through a section of code that cannot (or at least is not) multithreaded. Any other operation that must also go through this same section of the code crashes until the dialog or menu box is dismissed.

  APOK solution can work, but this dialog VI should always be placed in its own loop, of course - in the case otherwise the dialogue always block the loop in which it is placed (other parallel functions will work, but the loop will not be an iteration) until the dialog box is dismissed.

  Hi Phillipj88,

  The issue you face is that VMware Fusion records the virtual machine files in the / home directory that is unique for each user.

  I suggest that create you a folder that both accounts can access on the Mac and then place the virtual machine in this folder.

  1. create a folder on the Mac both accounts can access/VMS

  2. on the record VMS, do a right click and "Get Info" under "Sharing & permissions" to ensure that the two accounts are listed and have read write access.

  3. in VMware Fusion locate the machine virtual right click and select "show in Finder".

  4 back to the Fusion virtual machine right click and select "Delete" (don't worry)

  5. when remove the dialogue rises select 'file keep '.

  6. move the file to the directory of virtual machines

  7. double click to load the virtual machine and it will record merger

  An alternative to this also is in VMware Fusion, you can use the link clones, which take up much less disk space

So the primary key of D is (, (SUBMISSION, HELP), (CID, AID)). As you can see the primary key of A appears twice in the primary key of D, because of two relationships Parallels identification.
  
  Now I want two aides in the primary key of D are identical. The primary key of D should be a four tuple (SUBMISSION, CID, DID, HELP).
  
  How can I Express that in the logic model of the Data Modeler?
  
  What I've tried so far: I designed the logic model in a physical model and changed there a parallel relations. I changed the child column associated with the redundant reference to HELP the other. After that data Modeler asked me to remove the column created automatically, which is not a reference more. This seems to be a solution for the physical model.
  
  But: there seems to be not possible for this model in the logic model directly nor is engineer possible changes to the physical return to the logical model.

  You must play with attributes that overlap / folding. Open the properties of the D entity dialog box, go to 'Overlap attributes' page - you should see help-ecosystems1 pair listed. Check the "fold" checkbox. Ecosystems1 attribute will remain in the entity, but there will be no column associated with the relational model after engineering before him.   I have updated at 10.12 some weeks ago, with no problems.

  I used 10 Parallels and put Windows 7 access every day. My Mac software was 100% up-to-date.

  After a few weeks, I started Windows and Parallels showed the error "Failed to load the driver" and KB Parallels, I found that I may need to upgrade. As I was planning to upgrade anyway, I upgraded to Parallels 12 and got the same error.

  I contacted Parallels support - they responded with this:

  Failed to load Parallels driver. Problem ID: 352

  Cause

  The problem is in the bundle /System/Library/Extensions/IOPCIFamily.kext from Apple. In the bundle's info.plist is damaged due to some reasons.

  Resolution

  If please contact Apple Support team and send them system.log and corrupt /System/Library/Extensions/IOPCIFamily.kext/Info.plist.

  It is a user to user forum, not a team of Apple Support forum. In any event, it sounds like a problem of Parallels as it is unlikely that multiple versions of the operating system have defective or damaged kernel extensions.

  For what it's worth, I use Parallels 11 without problem on macOS Sierra to access Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP64, Windows 7 and Windows 10 of virtual machines. I think you should go back to parallels Support. I've avoided Parallels 12 because of all the problems users are reporting

• What version of Windows works better with Parallels 12?

  I just bought 12 Parallels for my iMac to use Quickbooks Pro (I was told that the Quickbooks for Mac version had limited functionality).  Certainly, I don't want Windows 10, but am looking for advice on what other Windows version recommend power of Parallels for any user.

  Running Windows using Boot Camp allows Windows to run better than under Windows in Parallels because Windows uses them your computer resources. When running Windows Parallels is the sharing of the resources of your computer with OSX. Then goes to Boot Camp will result in Windows and the programs of superior performance.

  If you encounter problems with Windows in Parallels 50% of the time, you probably have something misconfigured or there is something wrong with your installed programs.

  That said, in a professional environment I would eliminate potential problems while getting a cheap Windows computer to run the programs only my windows. This would allow me to continue working on my Apple computer while someone else is using Windows programs. It would be easier to maintain backups for both systems.

  Nope, both (maybe) need of updates. Corresponds at least to version 10, but instead of 11. Office 2008 might still work, but the reports vary; 2011 version works very well for me.

  I just bought a new Mac Book Pro 13 "Retina Display. I intend to use Windows 10 on my mac book as well. For the most part, I'll use windows for commercial purposes like MS Office, email, photoshop, navigation and sometimes I could use it for the basic games.

  I'm stuck between Bootcamp and parallels. Parallels seems more user-friendly, attributes of parallels seems as easy as switching between two systems also things I want to do it on Windows could not push the memory and device allows to execute in good performance. However I still have concerns about the Parallels because of performance issues I've read so far. Since its running the two systems at the same time, it could reduce the performance of the laptop. I would get the best performance and the face with minimal breakdowns of the system that I use.

  Also, I read a lot of articles that says that boot camp is best in performance wise but I couldn't make the decision for my case and my features. I need suggestions from other users who are more experienced with Mac in order to make a decision between them.

  Perhaps you are not aware of this, but OS X comes with e-mail software. MS Office is available for OS X, just like most of the products like Photoshop Adobe. OS X also comes with its own browser. My question is why you must use Windows to run programs that you run on OS X without using Windows?

  Although Boot Camp is slightly faster with Windows and Parallels, but unless the speed is essential Parallels is much easier to use provided that you have sufficient memory to run two operating systems simultaneously.

  There are thousands of responses but all backups on Mr. time.

  or try you backup via Time Machine and want to exclude a folder?
