passport size photo

Hello!

is it possible to print smaller than 6 x 4 photos?

I think to makin some gifts for Christmas and do a few key ring personalized, but they are 34 x 44 mm

and my printer (photosmart b110) seems inappropriate!

Any suggestions?

Thank you

4 x 6 is as small as most of the printers go. Some can go as small as 3 x 5, but who would be the lower limit. I would put more than one image on the page to print, make sure that the images are sized to print at the size you need. Doing this, you can probably print 9ish on a sheet of 8 x 10 photo paper. Hope that helps.

  • A3 size photo does not fully analyse

    Photosmart 6510

    When I scan a photo A3, it scans only part of it. How can I get the full picture?

    Hello LizzyL.

    The printer can scan up to A4, but not beyond that size.

    A3 size is larger than A4.

  • Want 4520: Format size photos before mobile printing?

    Just got my brand new HP Envy 4520 spankine yesterday, had set up, connected wireless, etc. This morning tried sending pictures to print from my iPhone - cool way. Works. Fabulously. Except that each photo comes in full page (8.5 x 11) without borders. What happens if I want to is it smaller? No apparent way to perform alternative sizing in the send-to-print-directly-from-phone process. Am I wrong? No question? Or is it? I guess that the obvious workaround is to edit the photo on the screen on my desktop before printing, but it's a lot more work.

    Hello

    Apple AirPrint do not provide such control and print an image as it is good without control.

    You may install and use the HP ePrint app instead, which offer more control as the choice of a specific paper size.

    You can find detailed instructions defining and using the application below:

  • Print size photo

    "I scanned a photo that was 4" by 6"to my PC, how can I print the photo to a size of 8 1/2 by 11" on my printer.

    Hi James,

    You use any software photo editor for view/print the photos?

    Windows Photo Viewer offers a list of templates that correspond to formats more currents impression, including 4 x 6, 8 x 10 and wallet-sized photos.

    However, most digital images do not perfectly match in a draw of standard size, so you might end up with a blank space around the edges. To avoid this, you need to crop your photo to a standard size and then print the cropped with the Windows Photo Viewer version. Most including Windows Paint picture-editing programs have the ability to crop.

    For more information on printing images using Photo Viewer, you can view this article.

  • How to handle small size photos in first for Ken Burns effect

    Hello, I know how to do the Ken Burns effect in first, but don't know what to do with the images that are smaller then 1920 x 1080 sizes.

    They are photos of the 60' and 70's and if I blow up picture size or to do the Burns effect, they are falling apart.

    I see people using photos really very old that look always good.

    How can I put them when they are low resolution or more small size?

    Thanks, J

    If the images are old, then their existence as a real film prints.

    Rescan them at a higher resolution.

  • Should I still low size photos for my Web site?

    Hi - I'm doing a website.  I don't know--or at least I think I know - you should down-size of your images for fast loading times.  By example, if I have a picture which is 3800 x 3800, 2 MB in size I always in low size it may be 1000 x 1000 and about 150 KB or more.

    I know we like think "everyone" has a fast web connection, but I don't think that is always the case and with mobile phone, you must take that into account too.

    A colleague working on another site asked me what I thought of his library.  She had a thumb nail, and when you click it, it opens like a box effect to light.  A great photo is 1200 x 1200 and 1 MB in file size.  I did point out to her that she might want to enlarge the photo and if she wants to keep the 1200 x 1200 fine, but she may want to reduce the size of the file.  I got up to about 180 KB and sent them to his side by side.  She said she worried about the quality (I honestly didn't notice anything either, but maybe his eyes is better than mine).

    I know that there is always a Catch 22 of 'quality vs. file size.'  So with all that said, I just request links, opinion, and so forth on this subject.  I also tried explaining that phones do not always have excellent connections to the downsizing should be taken into account.

    Should I continue to reduce my photos as I've been as described above?  Or it most important - I can take a 1 or 2 MB per photo and just use that for my web image to display in a photo gallery?

    Any thoughts, links to articles, etc., are appreciated.  Thanks, Guy deaf

    You should definitely continue your current workflow. When properly processed, you cannot tell the difference between a 1 MB file and a file of 250 KB to 1200px. And by proper treatment, I mean using save for Web in PS or export from Lightroom, using the proper compression.

    And, as you point out, everyone is not on a fast connection, and there is no reason to use more bandwidth bandwidth (and storage) as necessary.

  • Why the small size Photos use the widget "Lightbox"?

    After downloading a number of photos in a gallery in jQuery, I found that, when you click on a thumbnail, photo does not appear as almost as big as the original photo.  In fact, it was significantly reduced in size!

    How can I keep the size of my pictures or at least how to make them larger?

    Please make sure that your container of picture Lightbox hero is at least as big (in two dimensions) to accommodate the largest image you have.

    If you do not have the container image lightbox big enough heroes for the original image of the House, he puts on the scale image down to either fill the container of hero image or adjust the image inside the container (depending on how configure you in the Options).

    I hope this helps.

    See you soon,.

  • Custom size photo albums

    I've been printing my photos by Apple records, who have a few options in size, but at least it does not correspond to Kodak or Shutterfly (10 x 13).

    I would like to continue using Apple for consistency on the size and other attributes that apple offers.  iPhoto is the software on my computer, but it is quite static when it comes to models (so a need for openness, but I don't know I am sold on Aperture, thus the reason why I'm PSE9).  I wanted to make custom album pages (if necessary), but can't seem to find a way to pick my own page size, etc..  Is there a way to do this?

    And, how do you get to (by selecting only the pages you want) to print to PDF so that I could import these pages in iPhoto (the only way to print through Apple, I believe, is through iPhoto or Aperture, what can I do if I import the pages in JPEG large)?

    Put in an empty block, then save the file. Open the file when you want to use and do a save as and then make your changes.

  • With regard to the thumbnails to load click large size photo

    Hello
    I have a Web page with about 6 thumbnails. I would like to Flash to upload photos full size, when the viewer clicks on the thumbnails. Could someone tell me, how do you?
    First of all, where these photographs are stored. They are on the same server as my Web site? And should they be just simple JPEG on its own or should they be shipped on independent page.html?
    And finally, what is the ACE for this?

    It would be something like this?
    Let's say I put jpeg on the same server as mysite and name it photo1.jpeg

    {We (Release)}
    getURL (" http://www.mysite.com/photo1.jpeg");
    }

    Thank you very much for your help.
    Janek

    {We (Release)}
    container.loadMovie (" http://www.mysite.com/photo1.jpeg");
    }

    or

    {We (Release)}
    loadMovie (" http://www.mysite.com/photo1.jpeg", "container");
    }

    because it is great but would be preferable to use loadClip if you are exporting with flash 7 or later

    bar._visible = false;
    Border._visible = false;
    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("container", "100");
    my_mc = new MovieClipLoader();
    Preload = new Object();
    my_mc. AddListener (Preload);
    preload.onLoadStart = {function (targetMC)}

    trace ("set up" + targetMC);
    Container._visible = false;
    bar._visible = true;
    Border._visible = true;
    pText._visible = true;

    };
    preload.onLoadProgress = function (targetMC, lBytes, tBytes) {}

    bar._width = (lBytes/tBytes) * 100;
    pText.text = "%" + Math.round ((lBytes/tBytes) * 100);

    };
    preload.onLoadComplete = {function (targetMC)}

    Container._visible = true;
    Border._visible = false;
    bar._visible = false;

    Button1.onPress = function() {}

    Button2.onPress = function() {}
