password recover or reinstall windows

I recently got a computer through my work, apparently because the company has a new Director general, that everything has been replaced, and no one knows all of the passwords. Without having to buy a whole new windows cd how can I get into the system?

Thank you

If I bought a used computer, no matter who previously owned, the first thing I have with it would be to reinstall the operating system itself. You don't know how the computer has been maintained,
which has been improperly installed, what's missing, what virus and
There may be spyware, etc. I would not live with someone of another errors and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc, and I would not recommend anyone else to do.
If you reinstall Windows properly, you are playing with fire.

My system rebooted since an update and when I tried to enter my password it says that it was incorrect.  I tried to enter my old password and that has not worked.  I have searched everywhere for my password reset disk and can't find it.  I went on the internet to see if there was anything that I could do and he said that I have to reinstall Windows 7 on laptop.  I tried and the first thing he did was ask for my password that he rejected.  The other user can login but is not an administrator, so she can't help me.  I ran full system antivirus and it says that my system was safe and no virus found.  Is any help available?

No, you don't need to a password to re - install Windows, but I don't think that such a drastic measure is necessary. Let's focus on the issue of opening of first session. There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:

    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with password key file (works only if you have taken the time to create such a key file and you can actually locate).
    • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (only works if you threw down the password somewhere.)

    Hi everyone :)

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R, and 2 years since I got it and due to the excessive overuse, its performance has become extremely poor. The registry is riddled with problems, and I think it's time for a reboot.

I don't really know where the drive is, but I should be able to find it.

First of all, I have a lot of shows and movies. Somewhere around 1.5 to of them. I also have 120 GB of programs. It's clearly too heavy to download everything at once, so I don't want to lose.

With the program, can I transfer them to an external hard drive and then put everyone back in the program on my HARD drive wiped files and re - run the .exe file?

Would you recommend buying an SSD and the replacement of my current HARD drive with it?

Can I use the disk to reset everything on Windows without losing my files? This will fix the registry problem?

    Thank you

You cannot actually backup installed programs and bring them back, but you can save the actual installation files (.exe, configuration files) and use them to reinstall the programs. So it's a good idea to save them.

Would you recommend buying an SSD and the replacement of my current HARD drive with it?

Certainly if you can afford, its faster, makes your programs and Windows start faster.

Can I use the disk to reset everything on Windows without losing my files? This will fix the registry problem?

You can perform a custom installation that move your old installation in the folder Windows.old, where you can retrieve your personal files. I still recommend you back up your files separately but and restore them.

    http://www.notebooks.com/2009/10/07/using-Windows-easy-transfer-in-Windows-7/

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    Reinstalling Windows 7.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

    or

    F8 when starting the unit

Select the option to repair your computer

  • Reinstall Windows 7 after upgrading to Vista?

I have my old watch office that I've upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, and after 4 years I want to reinstall Windows 7 to start fresh. The Vista that was on it, I have the disc Version of OEMs and for Windows 7, I have the disk that was given to me by the technology that made the upgrade for me after that he did the upgrade. It was made by the upgrade online. J' have the product keys for both. My question is: what I have to reinstall the Vista using the disk of Vista (and key) and then go back and reinstall Windows 7 using the Windows 7 disc (and key) or can I just do a custom installation using the disc of Windows 7 only and the product key for this? I just want to wipe all of my drive and start again with nothing other than the Windows 7 above. I've moved to Windows 8 on my new computer, but want to keep my old machine running Windows 7 (I'm sure that all your diehard 7 users understand why!). Please let me know how to do this.

    Thank you

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/what-do-forget-Windows-password#1TC=Windows-8

If you have forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to recover or reset:

    • If your PC is on a domain, your system administrator must reset your password.

    • If you use a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online. For more information, see the Web to reset your password page.

    • If you use a local account, use your index of password as a reminder.

If you've tried these suggestions and still unable to connect:

    • If you have Windows 8.1, you will need to reinstall Windows.

    • If you have Windows RT 8.1, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your PC.
