• Cisco series C Top Bar top in presentation Mode

  In presentation Mode, the C Series codec displays an overlay of bar status (IP address, Cisco logo, time etc..).

  Unfortunately, this can be a source of distraction or worse, can cover the parts of the presentation to the local public.

  This has been fixed in a later version of TC5.x, see below for more details.

  CSCtx15428 : bar the top is always visible, even in full screen and in calls

  Symptom:
  Banner with Cisco logo and clock widget appears on the display when in a call.
  Conditions:
  Running TC software before TC 5.0 and a connected over HDMI device loses connection and is re-connected.
  Workaround solution:
  Perform a reset of the device factory.
  Alternative procedure via GUI:
  (1) connect to the web interface of the codec.
  2) go to Advanced Configuration > output > HDMI > OverscanLevel
  (3) change the overscanlevel to high and save. The video will be reduced to the
  middle of the screen.
  (4) change the overscanlevel to zero, as it was before and save. The video will be
  return to normal.
  Widgets and Cisco header should be gone.

• Lines show different thicknesses in presentation mode than they do in work mode.

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

• System restore problems - I reboot and press F11, then past recovery mode and load the files then it just goes to the blue screen and a mouse cursor? help please?

  I recently had to restore my HP DV5-1015ea.

  So I have been an editor of magazine for 3 years now, and the mode of presentation is very precious to me. Never had a problem getting in and out with SHIFT + W. I used a lot.

  I had to reformat my laptop recently and then reinstall my adobe cs4 (from software CD). And now I just can't in presentation mode. When I go to reset keyboard shortcuts, presentation mode is not yet an option?

  There was a Patch for CS4/CS5 that introduced the presentation Mode. If you have reformatted the computer and installed from the disc then you will lose many of the patches that came out... Try this link for the old software from Adobe Adobe - InDesign: for Macintosh

  I convinced a client to let me use an interactive (on InDesign CS5) PDF instead of TPP for its design of the courtroom. It's absolutely beautiful work! The * only * Powerpoint feature that I was not able to replicate/Excel/find a workaround solution is "Presentation Mode" from Powerpoint for when the PDF file is projected on the screen. It must be able to see which slide will come without the rest of the Court, be able to see.

  The only solution I thought of because it's SO awkward: have two laptops, one of which provides that the PDF file in mode full screen, who is in his eyes and has view Page... If progress there two shows at the same time, it will be able to cross the two laptops of reference. Pretty horrible, right?

  Sorry, but there is no equivalent functionality in Acrobat or Adobe Reader, and no way to implement with script or even the SDK. It is requested before, but I can't say if this will never happen.

• late 2008 MacBook longer or more cold in clamshell mode?

  I was going to use my MacBook recently updated as your desktop with USB keyboard and mouse. Clamshell mode for long periods, there will be 4 to 10 days.   This HARD drive has need of 900mA power supply.
  This means that you need a USB 3.0 standard or 2 x USB 2.0 ports

  I think that if your computer supports support only USB 2.0, you must use the USB cable to Y which allows you to connect 2 USB ports HARD drive.

  You ask about the physical keyboard of the 700 Yoga help? In other words, you want to connect an external monitor, fold the 700 Yoga in tablet mode, place it on a desk with the keyboard facing up, and then use the keyboard/trackpad in combination with the display on the external monitor...?

  If that's what you want to do, I'm afraid that you are out of luck - keyboard/trackpad models Yoga is disabled whenever the Yoga is folded tablet, tent, or presentation mode. They only work when Yoga is used in portable mode. This is normal.

• Windows 7 is extremely slow to return to the screen saver mode.

  I installed upgrading Windows 7 on my computer and everything is fine.  However, when the system is idle and past in mode screensaver (with or without a password), the return of the screen saver mode are extremely slow (just a white screen).  It is sometimes quick, sometimes it comes back in 3-4 minutes, but most of the time it takes a long time.

  I found a way to fix it! I did this:

  1. Press win + r and run msconfig. Go to tools and brand to troubleshoot the computer, and then click Start.

  2. then go to system and security and press electricityballance (not sure of the name in English because I have a Norwegian version..).

  3. restart your computer.

  4. my screen saver was not afterwards, but I gave it to display photos and now it works perfectly!

  When I checked the general tab afterwards, it did not have the checkbox to use the... start (a last..) one has been verified and the second has a blue full mark.
